Der zweckmäfsige Einbau grofser Platten für Sammler bietet beträchtliche Schwierigkeiten, weil dabei verschiedene Bedingungen erfüllt werden müssen, wie z. B. eine möglichst vollkommene Stromvertheilung in den Elektroden, eine einfache Montage, Uebersichtlichkeit und Zugänglichkeit der einzelnen Platten, die Möglichkeit einer freien Ausdehnung jeder Platte und Verhinderung von Kurzschlüssen. Der vorliegende Einbau soll diesen Bedingungen genügen. Die negative Elektrode, welche in der Zeichnung als hinter der positiven befindlich dargestellt ist, ist in ganz ähnlicher Weise zusammengesetzt, hängt aber mittelst der Streifen i und j auf den Stützscheiben Z und m. Durch diese Anordnung wird erreicht, dafs die Scheiben k und η nur positive, die Scheiben / und m nur negative Elektroden tragen. Der etwa auf den Kanten der Stützscheiben angesammelte Belag kann nie einen Kurzschlufs verursachen, weil immer nur gleichnamige Platten auf denselben Stützscheiben hängen. Die Glasscheiben op dienen zur Isolation der Elektrodenstreifen gegen die Wand des Kastens q. Die Glasröhren r isoliren die Platten von einander. ■ Die Fig. 2 zeigt den gleichen Einbau für aus einer Platte bestehende Elektroden a.
