Description
DEUTSCHESGERMAN
The invention relates to an arrangement for compressed air switches, in which the actuation and blowing takes place by compressed air and when switched off, the extinguishing chamber remains under pressure.
Such compressed air switches are operated with the help of on and off valves (main valve), which are connected to a compressed air tank assembled with the switch. That The switch-on valve connects the extinguishing chamber with the outside air, the switch-off valve connects the extinguishing chamber with the compressed air tank. Both functions can also be combined in a single main valve be. When it is switched off, the compressed air flows into the extinguishing chamber. The compressed air line is then through an exhaust valve, which is located behind the switching point and through which compressed air, as long as the Arc burns, can flow out, closed. The compressed air then remains in the chamber and holds the Contacts apart. During switch-on, the switch-on valve connects the extinguishing chamber with the Outside air, and the compressed air can flow out, so that the contacts are made by the drop in pressure close in the extinguishing chamber. The fact that the arcing chamber is switched off via the Main valve is in direct contact with the compressed air tank, there is a guarantee that that no pressure loss occurs in the extinguishing chamber. Here, however, there is the disadvantage that if there is a loss of pressure In the pressurized gas container itself, the extinguishing chamber also loses compressed air and the switch accidentally can close. Even in the event of errors in the entire compressed air system, such a pressure loss in the Enter the extinguishing chamber. In order to avoid this one has between the compressed air tank and the compressed air feed line Check valves built in, which close when the pressure in the compressed air system drops is than in the pressurized gas container. Complete security against unintentional switching on of the switch However, this is also not the case if on the lines to the main valves and in the compressed air tank Errors occur which cause the pressure in the extinguishing chamber to drop.
In order to further increase the security, it is therefore proposed according to the invention for such switches, separate compressed air tanks for the blowing air of the contact and the compressed air for operating the main valves to use, at the same time a check valve between each compressed air tank and its feed line to be installed and at the same time the shut-off valve immediately after shutdown to close again.
Diese ist über die Zuleitung 3., welche beispiels-This device is shown in FIG. 1 means the contact which is in the arcing chamber 2 lies. This is via the supply line 3., which is an example

This is in turn fed from the compressed air system 5. The switch-on valve is denoted by 6 and the cut-off valve is denoted by 7. When the switch-on valve 6 opens, the compressed air in the extinguishing chamber 2 can escape via the line 8, so that the contact 1 closes. If the shut-off valve 7 is actuated, a connection is established between the quenching chamber and the compressed air tank 4, so that compressed air flows into the quenching chamber and opens the contact. The two valves 6 and 7 are now actuated from the separate compressed air tank 9, the switching on via line 10 and switching off via line 11 being initiated. Check valves 12 and 13 are provided in front of the two compressed air tanks 4 and 9, so that when the pressure in the compressed air system 5 is reduced, the pressure in the tanks can be maintained. If an error occurs in the container 4 for the blowing, the pressure for the control is maintained; conversely, if there is an error in the compressed air container 9 for the control, the container 4 for the blowing is not affected. The shut-off valve 7 is now designed so that it closes again immediately after the switch is turned off. As a result, there is no direct connection with the compressed air tank 4, and the extinguishing chamber remains under pressure if there is a loss of pressure in the tank 4.
It has now become known to provide the check valves with an additional valve ', which is parallel to the flow path of the check valves, but has a much smaller animal

schnitt besitzt. This leaves a weak connection, for example between the compressed air tank and the compressed air system. The purpose of this is to reduce the pressure loss caused by normal Leakages occur, to be compensated continuously. If there is a strong pressure loss, however, this byway must be completely closed. This thought can now, instead of as before with check valves, also apply the shut-off valve 7 can be applied, so that a gradual loss of pressure in the extinguishing chamber or can be compensated in the container. This embodiment is shown in Fig. 2. There are the check valves 12 and 13 such additional valves 14 and 15 connected in parallel in a known manner. Also owns the shut-off valve 7 is an additional valve 16. If the pressure in the compressed air system now drops slowly, for example if the actuating pressure vessel 9 has a fault, the check valve 13 also closes, however, the valve 15 still supplies pressure from the container 4 into the container 9. Only with stronger Loss of pressure then also closes valve 14. If there is a slight loss of pressure in extinguishing chamber 2 occurs, the pressure air tank 4 delivers in a similar manner the additional valve 16 after compressed air, and only when there is a high pressure loss does the valve close 16 remove the chamber from the container.
Conversely, it is also possible to make the additional valve 16 dependent on the pressure in the blowing container 4. If the pressure drops in this, then pressure gradually flows in from the extinguishing chamber, and only at A higher pressure difference closes the additional valve 16 completely, so that the pressure in the extinguishing chamber preserved. This makes it possible to compensate for smaller pressure losses in the containers 4 and 9.
You can also make the valve 16 dependent on the pressure in the extinguishing chamber, but then also let it close when the compressed air flows in the direction of the extinguishing chamber. This ensures that the The valve only remains open as long as the pressure in the extinguishing chamber and in the container is the same. if but a pressure difference occurs, then the extinguishing chamber is separated from the compressed air tank, see above that in this and in the control tank 9, the pressure is maintained.
A further improvement can be achieved in that two additional valves are provided, as FIG. 3 shows. Of these, one valve 18 responds to a loss of pressure in the extinguishing chamber 2, the other valve 17 to a loss of pressure in the container 4. The response pressures in the additional valves are different, however, and the valve 18, which responds to the pressure in the extinguishing chamber, receives a lower value. The mode of operation is as follows: At normal pressure in the container 4 and in the extinguishing chamber 2, both valves let through. If the chamber pressure now falls, the compressed air tank first supplies compressed air via both valves. So there is a balance. The valve 17 remains open as long as the pressure in the container remains unchanged. If the pressure in the container drops, however, the valve 17 first closes the feed. The pressure in the extinguishing chamber now drops more rapidly and the valve 18 also closes. In the meantime, however, the pressure in the container 4 rises again as a result of subsequent delivery, so that the valve 17 opens again. The connection to the quenching chamber remains interrupted because the valve 18 is still closed. In the event that the pressure in the compressed air tank drops without the extinguishing chamber being damaged, the valve 17 closes after a slight drop in pressure, so that the compressed air is maintained in the extinguishing chamber.
With all of these facilities, the subsequent delivery of compressed air must of course be interrupted. when the switch receives a switch-on command. This is also done by the additional valve 16 or 18, which depends on the pressure in the arcing chamber. Since the pressure flows out when switching on, also speaks the additional valve 16 or 18 and disconnects the connection with the container.
The proposed device is particularly advantageous for switches with multiple interruptions the end. You can achieve that in the event of errors in an extinguishing chamber or in the containers only the defective parts are separated and the remaining part of the switch remains OK. So even if the interruption point in an extinguishing chamber as a result Pressure loss closes unintentionally, the remaining interruption points and the whole switches open. As shown in Fig. 4, several interruption points 2.1, 2.2 through several hollow insulators fed separately. Each isolator now has an arrangement with a shut-off valve and bypass valve. In the figure, for example, there are two additional valves connected in series shown. The shut-off valves are labeled 7.1, 7.2. They are the additional valves 17.1 and 18.1 or 17.2 and 18.2 in parallel. In the event of a pressure drop in the container 4 lock from a certain Pressure on 18.1 and 18.2, and the extinguishing chamber remains under pressure. But suffered an extinguishing chamber, for example 2.1, loss of pressure, compressed air initially flows from container 4. First from a certain one Pressure in the extinguishing chamber on, the subsequent delivery is interrupted because the valve 17.1 closes. The other Extinguishing chamber 2.2 remains unaffected and ready for switching. So even if the contact is in the Extinguishing chamber 2.1 closes unintentionally, the whole switch remains open anyway.
The arrangement described has the advantage that in the event of losses in the compressed air system or in the Compressed air tanks the extinguishing chamber remains under pressure and an unintentional switch-on is avoided can be. Even when the control air tank is empty, the switch is not affected. It remains in the position it had before idling. In the event of errors in an extinguishing chamber the other arcing chambers and the control are not affected. Through the additional valves it is possible to cover slow pressure losses. These arrangements ensure security the compressed air switch further increased.
