Die Verlängerung 10 der Walzenwelle dreht sich mit der letzteren und treibt den Nocken 11 an, der seinerseits wiederum die Hin- und Herbewegung der Arme 13 hervorruft, mit welchen er in Berührung steht, so daß die Flügel eine Bewegung im Sinne eines Flügelschlags ausführen. Dieses Figürchen 26 ist auf einem Zapfen 27 befestigt, der die Bewegungen des Figürchens in Abhängigkeit von den Bewegungen eines nicht dargestellten Musikwerks steuert.
