Im Kurzschlußfall erhöht sich jedoch der Spannungsabfall am Schmelzleiter 1, so daß die Schwellspannung des Gleichrichters 4 überschritten wird und der dann über den Hilfsschmelzleiter 3 fließende Strom diesen in kürzester Zeit zum Glühen bzw. Schmelzen bringt, was die Explosion der Sprengladung 2 und damit auch die Zerstörung des Schmelzleiters 1 zur Folge hat.To explain the invention, an embodiment of such a fuse is shown schematically in the drawing.
