Bei koaxialen Hochfrequenzkabeln und den dazugehörigen Hochfrequenzgarnituren werden Isolierstoff-Scheiben aus Materialien mit sehr niedrigen dielektrischen Verlusten verwendet. Da die Dielektrizitätskonstante dieser Materialien jedoch immer größer als 1 ist, müssen besondere Maßnahmen ergriffen werden, um die Orte, an denen Isolierstoffscheiben erforderlich sind, reflexionsfrei zu halten. In der Kabeltechnik, in der massearme Scheiben verwendet werden, geschieht dies dadurch, daß z. B. der Scheibenabstand auf eine Länge, die kleiner oder gleich λ/4. ist, begrenzt wird und daß im Durchmesserverhältnis der Leiter die durch die Isolierstoffscheibe bedingte Zusatzkapazität berücksichtigt wird. In besonderen Leitungsanordnungen, z. B. Endverschlüssen, Übergangssteckern od. dgl., wird die höhere Dielektrizitätskonstante der Isolierstoffscheibe dadurch berücksichtigt, daß das Verhältnis der wirksamen Durchmesser unter der Scheibe stark vergrößert wird. Ein großer Nachteil bei den bekannten Leitungsanordnungen mit in Rillen am Innenleiter und Außenleiter eingefaßten Isolierstoff scheiben ist jedoch der, daß sowohl der Innenleiter als auch der Außenleiter am Scheibensitz geteilt werden muß, damit die Scheibe in die am Scheibensitz vorgesehenen Rillen eingefügt werden kann. Bei einer diesbezüglichen Ausführungsform eines Endverschlusses ist sowohl der Außenleiter als auch der Innenleiter am vorgesehenen Scheibensitz in zwei miteinander verschraubbare Hälften aufgeteilt, zwischen denen die Isolierstoffscheibe eingeklemmt wird. Solche Konstruktionen werden aber durch die erforderlichen Gewinde verhältnismäßig teuer. Da außerdem für hohe Frequenzen an jeder Leiterteilung unbedingt Stirnkontakt gefordert werden muß und oft gleichzeitig ein fester Sitz der Scheibe bzw. Dichtigkeit verlangt wird, ist leicht einzusehen, daß an die Präzision der Fertigung außerordentlich hohe Forderungen gestellt werden müssen. Aus diesen Gründen sind auch weitere Konstruktionen bekanntgeworden, bei denen am vorgesehenen Scheibensitz nur der Innenleiter gerillt und geteilt ist, während der Außenleiter als durchgehendes Rohr ausgebildet ist. Die Festlegung der Isolierstoffscheibe erfolgt bei derartigen Konstruktionen entweder durch Schrumpfspannung des Außenleiters oder/und Ausdehnungsspannung der Scheibe. Hierzu wird vor dem Einsetzen der Isolierstoffscheibe der Außenleiter erhitzt oder/und die Isolierstoffscheibe unterkühlt. Dieses Verfahren ist jedoch für einige Fälle, z. B. bei Übergangssteckern mit Isolierstoffscheiben unterschiedlichen Durchmessers, nicht anwendbar. Nachteilig ist fernerhin bei diesen bekannten Konstruktionen, daß am Innenleiter immer noch eine Schraubverbindung erforderlich ist und daß ein maßhaltiger und fester Sitz der Isolierstoffscheibe unter Umständen nicht ohne besondere Maßnahmen gewährleistet ist. Weiter sind Konstruktionen bekanntgeworden, die einen geteilten Außenleiter, einen ungeteilten Innenleiter, aber dazu eine geteilte Scheibe vorsehen.
