BEKANNTMACHUNG DER ANMELDUNG UND AUSGABE DER AUSLEGESCHRIFT:' 25. J UNI 19 5 9:NOTICE THE REGISTRATION AND ISSUE OF THE EDITORIAL: '25 J UNI 19 5 9:
The invention relates to a method for the production of alkaline collectors which oppose the previous collectors with the same volume due to maximum space utilization by the electrodes achieve maximum capacity. After this procedure, the electrodes are made from individual ones electrically interconnected rods, bags or tubes used and these in itself As is known, their cross-section is arranged in such a way that there is a minimum between them free space is created. A type which is also known per se is used for the other electrode. she consists of one in several. Layers of tape laid on top of one another, made of loosely layered, matted, braided tape or woven metallized fibers into which the active material is pasted. This in the specified State still malleable electrode is shaped according to the invention during or after winding, that they are on the outside of the housing wall on the other side of the gap-free Adjusts counter electrodes and then after the final Shaping is subjected to such a heat treatment that the metallic coating of the individual Fibers sintered together to form a homogeneous, finely branched metal framework.
.Such a training can also be done the other way around, in such a way that the rods or Tubes formed electrode is on the outside and the wound and sintered electrode is the interior fills out. .
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing.
Fig. 1 zeigt einen nach diesem Verfahren hergestellten alkalischen Sammler, bei dem die Stabelektroden innen, die gesinterte Wickelelektrode außen liegt, währendFig. 1 shows one produced by this method alkaline collector with the stick electrodes on the inside and the sintered winding electrode on the outside, while
Fig. 2 shows the section through a collector in which the rod electrode is on the outside and the winding electrode lies inside.
Specifically, 1 means that of a loosely layered band of loosely matted, braided or woven metallized fibers wound electrode into which the active material is pasted. This winding electrode is with a perforated one in between Foil 2 wound around the rod-shaped electrodes 3. The cross section is rod-shaped Electrodes shaped like a sector of a circle, so that the sum of all stick electrodes is practically a cylinder represents. All of these cylinders 3 are electrically connected to one another and form one S animierpol 4, while the winding electrode 1 represents the other pole 5. The wound electrode 1 fills the entire Cross section between the rod electrodes 3 and the inner wall of the collector housing 6 without any Space off.

The training of Fig. 2 differs from that of Fig. 1 only in that the Winding electrode 1 is inside and with the interposition of the perforated film 2 the remaining space to to the inner wall of the cell housing 6 is filled by the rod electrodes 3. According to the arrangement In this case, the stick electrodes do not have a sector-shaped cross-section, but the shape a ring section. However, it is readily apparent that here too the entire internal cross-section of the housing is completely filled by the electrodes, as a result of the method described above a solid cohesion of all parts is guaranteed.
What is essential for the invention is not the shape of the individual cross-section, but the division of the available total cross-section, such that for both electrodes in the correct ratio to each other a maximum effective surface is achieved, whereby it is due to the peculiar composition of the two types of electrodes succeeds in fully utilizing the available space. Of the Progress that is achieved in this way is that only by an insignificantly increased effort one significant increase in performance is achieved. So it is z. B. succeeded in the performance of a standardized in size Increase the secondary cell from 3 Ah at 1.25 volts to 7 Ah at 1.25 volts. About this increase To achieve the performance, according to the invention, the volume available to the active material the positive and negative electrodes as well as lead-acid batteries such as 7.5: 6.
