Vorsatzsystem zur Verkürzung der Objektivbrennweite Gegenstand der
Erfindung ist ein Vorsatzsystem vor einem Objektiv. Diese Kombination kann. z. B.
Vorsatz anzubringen.Attachment system for shortening the focal length of the lens subject of the

zusammen.Attachment systems that maintain the focal length of the lens

The front link, which has a negative refractive power, consists of a shortening attachment
from an achromatic lens, in which the kit radius in the various embodiments
0.55 to 2.4 times as long as the first radius. The achromatic follows in one
greater distance an either cemented or unsealed thick meniscus more positive
Refractive power. In another known arrangement, there is a negative refractive power
having a front member of a meniscus and a biconcave lens shape
owning. Achromats, the kit radius of which is more curved than the outer radius.
The rear phalanx of positive refractive power consists of a meniscus and an achromatic lens
together.
erfolgte. With the solutions already available, there were usually very strong comatic errors and with shortening intentions a strong barrel-shaped distortion. According to the invention, a form of the attachment has been selected which, in addition to a significant improvement in the distortion, allows the coma to be completely eliminated, thereby avoiding a deterioration in the image quality of the objective. The diameter of the lens of the shortening attachment adjacent to the objective is decisive for the aperture ratio of the overall system. In order to avoid excessive lengths and front lens diameters, the opening of the objective v - 1: 2 has been reduced to 1: 2.8 for the entire system in the present case. The focal length of the lens was shortened from f = 5.5 cm to f = 3.5 cm. The intent is deliberately calculated in such a way that the optimal correction was not made for this alone, but in connection with the unchanged objective, taking into account the smaller opening.
so durchzuführen,
In the case of the invention, the shortening attachment consists of two closely successive meniscus to be bent towards the objective and a collecting meniscus which is separated from these by a larger air space and which is bent towards the objective. The meniscus facing the incident light has a dispersing effect, the enclosed meniscus at least 1.3 times the focal length of the first meniscus and, in the limiting case, can even have a weakly converging effect. The enclosed meniscus has a collecting cemented surface, whereby the exponent for the% line is 1.62 or higher for the positive lens and the exponent difference must be at least 0.15 in order to significantly improve the strong barrel-shaped distortion that occurs with shortening attachments, without making any concessions the other correction z. B. having to go into a coma. Investigations have shown that the best results for eliminating the coma are achieved if the kit radius is at least 5 times longer than the radius (y3) of the cemented limb facing the object, and the facing radii of the two menisci of the negative anterior limb are chosen in this way that the radius of the second link (r3) is at least 1.5 and at most 5 times as large as the radius of the first link (r2), and all radii with the exception of the kit radius (r4) are bent towards the object. The converging meniscus adjacent to the objective has a chromatically over-correcting cemented surface. With these structural features of the attachment, it has been possible to achieve a very favorable correction of all errors, such as spherical aberration, astigmatism and coma, for the attachment in connection with the unchanged objective. Due to the selected focal length ratios of the two menisci facing the incident light and the exponent position and exponent difference of the enclosed meniscus, a significantly more favorable distortion was achieved than would otherwise have to be accepted with shortening intentions. It is advantageous to carry out the correction of the afocal attachment described above in such a way that it is coordinated with the residual errors of the previously selected objective. It is the same for the total focal length of the combination whether the afocal attachment is placed in front of a lens 1: 2, f = 5 cm or 1: 2.8 and also f = 5 cm, if. the relative aperture of 1: 2.8 is required for the wide-angle lens obtained. For a f / 2.8 lens, the spherical aberration for the full aperture is mostly overcorrected, while a lens with an initial aperture of 1: 2 that is stopped down to f / 2.8 has a spherical undercorrection. It follows from this that it is expedient to remove the spherical aberration as completely as possible for the intent in the first-mentioned case and to strive for an overcorrected spherical aberration in the second case in order to achieve an optimal correction for both cases. As shown with the spherical aberration, it is also possible to correct all other errors such as astigmatism, coma, etc. in the attachment so that the structural unit (attachment plus previously selected lens) together has a better correction than if the attachment itself is corrected alone and optionally in front of lenses. with different correction.
