Die bisher gebräuchlichen Comtoir-Blockkalender waren nur für ein Jahr gültig und derart construirt, dafs man die Datumblätter vom i. Januar bis 31. December wie ein kleines Buch einband, und diesen sogenannten Block entweder auf Pappdeckel klebte und an die Wand hing, oder mittelst einer Schraube auf ein Gestell befestigte, und bei jedem Tageswechsel das betreffende Blatt abrifs, wodurch auch zugleich die darauf gemachten Notizen verschwanden.The previously used Comtoir block calendars were only valid for one year and that sort of thing constructed that the date sheets of the 1st January to December 31st like a little one Book cover, and this so-called block either stuck to the cardboard cover and to the Hung on the wall, or fastened to a frame by means of a screw, and at every change of day the sheet in question abrifs, thereby also the notes made on it disappeared.
