Description
Stand der TechnikState of technology
When State of the art is the in the company publication of Dipl.-Ing. G. Schwarzbeck Messelektronik, D-69250 Schönau, On the blade 29 (Annex 1), also known as "two-antenna method".
With you will be disturbing Environmental effects largely eliminated by non-free-field antenna surveys. in the Kern happens by the fact that two or three identical antennas each in a "head on head measurement "in a level to the ground under continuous height variation with simultaneous digital averaging can be measured. By averaging stochastic reflections are largely averaged out.
Vor- und Nachteile des Verfahren gemäß dem Stand der TechnikAdvantages and disadvantages the method according to the prior technology
Of the The main advantage of the method lies in the fact that with a fraction of the Effort, which requires a true free-field measurement, highly accurate traceable measurement results to achieve. Compared to the Prior art is under the approach of practical requirements actually no serious disadvantage to the measurement accuracy be stated. However, the process is still quite elaborate both in terms of space as well as measuring effort and thus financial expense.
Aufgabestellungtask
Out The prior art results as a task, the advantages of the method even more cost effective, to realize with less space expenditure and with a mobile device and as possible to a continuous measurement curve instead of individual measurement points get.
Beschreibung der Erfindung und von deren Vorteile gegenüber dem Stand der Technikdescription the invention and its advantages over the prior art
Schlüsselelemente der Erfindung sind die Drehung der Messachse in die Vertikale, zusätzliche Variationsmöglichkeiten zur besseren Ausmittelung störender Reflexionen und die Verwendung eines Messsystems, welches eigentlich für die Messung in der Produktfertigung optimiert ist.key elements the invention, the rotation of the measuring axis in the vertical, additional variation options for better evaluation disturbing Reflections and the use of a measuring system, which actually for the Measurement in product production is optimized.
Drehung der Messachse in die VertikaleTurn the Measuring axis in the vertical
From above, satellites However, their radiation causes only minimal disturbances on the earth's surface. With the restriction, that the procedure is only for directional Antenna offers advantages and that the measuring location in one of the antenna lobe according to multiple distance to a potential jammer is selected With the vertical measuring arrangement, an HF-dense measuring location becomes superfluous - a decisive factor Cost advantage.

- - It is advantageous to use a low-reflection, non-conductive construction material. Plastic pipes for the actual structure and wood or plastic for the "boom" for fixing the antennas are very well suited.
- - The distance between the two test specimens must be variable so that different antennas can be measured. From the distance and the antenna parameters, it is known to calculate the power flux density at the specific measuring location. Once fixed, the two antennas together with their (distance) holder must be movably mounted. In this specific case, this holder is pronounced as a plastic tube with a diameter in the order of 15 to 30 cm in order to achieve sufficient torsional stiffness at a required distance between the antennas in the order of 2.5m. With larger antennas, a larger distance is required for metrologically obvious reasons, which in turn requires rather larger pipe diameter for stability reasons. Viceversa sees it with smaller required distances between the antennas. On the holder (in this case concrete: tube) two "jibs" are mounted for fixing the antennas, to which the antennas can be mounted at a distance of about 0.5 to 1.5 m from the holder, so that a head to head measurement The upper boom is also designed to move in both directions so that the antenna cable is routed 180 degrees from the antenna to be surveyed as far as possible, while also acting as a counterweight to the antennas and outriggers.
- - For movable storage, a second pipe with a smaller diameter and almost the same length is used in the specific case. Of course, another stable support would be conceivable, for example made of solid wood or a lightweight construction of small braces. However, the use of a pipe has special advantages. If it is suitably dimensioned, the outer tube is thus very well managed, because it should be both in height displaceable as also be rotatably mounted. This is easy to achieve eg by the facial expressions described in the next point. The second (inner) tube is now fixed vertically upright on a base plate.
- - The carrier / bottom plate has a hole in the cross-sectional area of the mounted tube. As a result, a stable cable is guided inside through the fixed, inner tube upwards. There, for example, guided over a pulley over the upper edge and in the space between the inner and outer, movable tube to the lower end of the outer tube and fixed there. By pulling on the rope, the outer tube rises and can be easily moved up and down over a large height. In addition, it is very freely stored, so that it can also be moved around its own axis back and forth. For further improvement, the bottom plate could still be covered with dampening Pylo NEN, which, however, hardly brought any improvements in the specific case.
- In a further improvement, the antennas can be movably mounted so that they can be varied on the one hand by their own longitudinal or the two transverse axes in position. This can be done either manually, on the other hand, for example, by stepper motors or other mechanical movement options. In this way one can determine on the one hand antenna lobes, on the other hand the environmental influences (eg the antenna line, which is relational to the two antennas to be measured in the same position in the above described structure in the same position and thus can not be eliminated by the averaging) by additional averaging over the Different antenna positions with respect to the above degrees of freedom: Eliminate longitudinal and transverse axes even further.
MesssytemMeasurement System
Of course you can man o. Measurement setup also with the commonly used instruments: frequency generator and power density meter be used to measure discrete frequencies.
It however, it is desirable with as narrow as possible Stepwise sweep a broad frequency response to the e.g. at Yagi antennas typical, very large jumps or break-ins over small ones Frequency steps can not be overlooked. This requires a conventional measurement technique very big Time.
According to the invention, this is the use a so-called "scalar analyzer" of great advantage. These devices are for designed for rational use in electronics manufacturing and combine high accuracy with a very fast sweep greater Frequency bands. By integrating the frequency generator and the meter in one device can very advantageous defined conditions are produced. The equipment have the Option of digital averaging over longer periods of time.
Auf dem Bildschirm kann man die langsame „Einebnung" von stochastischen Ausreißern durch Reflexionen etc. beobachten und diese Mittelung solange fortführen bis die gewünschten Genauigkeitsschranken unterschritten sind.in the concrete case now the input and the output of the device with the connected to two antennas to be measured. The actual measurement is now a digital averaging over possibly several minutes under Variation of height, the rotation angle and possibly also the adjustment angle (with respect. the longitudinal axis) the antennas. When mounting the carrier system on rolls can also still the absolute position of the measuring device can be varied. On On the screen you can see the slow "leveling" of stochastic outliers through reflections etc. and continue this averaging until the desired Accuracy limits are below.
Summarized is thus a time-saving measurement under quasi-free field conditions of two identical antennas under referencing by means of a third antenna possible. The measuring system is also mobile, space-saving and very inexpensive in production.
