Abstract

The pump has a housing and a transverse part, which engages positively in apertures in the housing wall (18) and in the housing jacket (26). The apertures are formed by long bore guides extending at right angles to circumferential direction. The long bores are formed by casting and extend in radial direction. The transverse part (20) is located in a groove-shaped recess (22,23) of different depth in a cam ring (7). It forms part of a sealing line between cam ring and housing jacket. The recesses in the ring are less deep than that in the housing jacket.
