The electromagnetically operated pressure regulating valve (10) has a housing (16) and a magnetic core (26) fixed in the housing by at least one intermediate ring mounted on one end of the housing. The intermediate ring contacts one end of the housing via a collar. The intermediate ring is flanged with the magnetic core.
