Abstract

Es ist ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Spinnen und Texturieren eines synthetischen Fadens beschrieben. Hierzu wird aus einer Polymerschmelze eine Vielzahl von Filamenten extrudiert und zu einem Filamentbündel zusammengefasst. Das Filamentbündel wird unter Einfluss von Wärme zu einem Fadenstopfen aufgestaucht, abgekühlt und zu einem gekräuselten Faden abgezogen. Hierbei wird an dem Faden nach Auflösung des Fadenstopfens eine Abzugsspannung erzeugt. Um möglichst einen fadenschonenden Aufbau der Abzugsspannung an dem Faden zu erhalten, wird der Faden durch einen Bremsluftstrom geführt, welcher im wesentlichen quer zur Fadenlaufrichtung wirkt und durch welchen der Faden an einer Gleitfläche gehalten ist. Hierzu wird innerhalb einer Bremseinrichtung ein Mittel zur Erzeugung eines Bremsluftstromes, der im wesentlichen quer zum Fadenlauf gerichtet ist, und ein Mittel zur Führung des Fadens quer zum Bremsluftstrom verwendet.
