Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Brandschutzverglasung aus Scheiben (1) und im Brandfall aufschäumenden Füllschichten (2) im Sandwichaufbau. Die Füllschichten (2) enthalten eine bestimmte Menge Wasser sowie organische und/oder anorganische Verbindungen oder mit organischen Verbindungen versetztes Wasserglas oder wässrige Gele und sind erfindungsgemäß zum Zwecke der Erhöhung der Widerstandsdauer im Brandfall mit transparenten Fasern verstärkt. Das führt zu einer Reduzierung des Flächengewichtes der Brandschutzverglasung bei gleicher Leistung und durch erhöhte mechanische Eigenschaften zu einem verbesserten Baustellenhandling. DOLLAR A Die erfindungsgemäße Brandschutzverglasung kann in verschiedensten Einsatzbereichen für Tür- und Fensterverglasungen eingesetzt werden.
