Description
DEUTSCHESGERMAN
The invention relates to an arrangement for shifting synchronized by a clock pulse of impulses. Such arrangements are essentially used in series computing machines that operate electronically required and often referred to as clock-controlled runtime elements.
Used in serial calculating machines and others in the technology of message processing machines Facilities, the individual messages are each encoded in pulse groups vox. the Impulse groups, each of which reproduce a very specific piece of information, consist of one after the other arranged pulses so that the information is given over a single line can, in such a way that the individual pulses occur one after the other along this line.
:In machines of this type, it is now often required to precisely convert a very specific group of impulses to shift a pulse interval. The impulses of the impulse group have that of each other the same distance, or if individual pulses are missing within the group, then the distance is a integer multiple of this unit distance. To the individual information within the machine To be able to process, this pulse group must after a time shift of a pulse group in turn are exactly synchronous with a clock pulse, otherwise the uniqueness of the Impulse group defined information would not be given. This is straightforward with calculating machines to see, since the position of a pulse, which usually corresponds to a binary digit, as well as the The value of the number must be precisely determined. :
A position shift of the information must · '* therefore by a clock pulse - this is a pulse train, which is composed of pulses which are unit-spaced from one another · - · synchronized will.
So far, such a shift with relatively complicated switching arrangements, the all booster members have built up. The circuit arrangement according to the invention, however is constructed from purely passive switching elements and still works satisfactorily, i. h., a dem The pulse train fed to the input appears shifted by exactly one or more pulse intervals at the output of the switching arrangement, where ■ - which must also be required - no pulse is suppressed will.
Bei der bekannten Anordnung findet also keine echte Verschiebung der Impulsfolge statt.but the impulse is completely suppressed. In the known arrangement there is no real shift the pulse train instead.
There are also delay circuits became known that a very specific impulse, z. B. for measurement purposes, depending on one generate certain trigger criteria with a predetermined delay time. A job shift a pulse train is not possible with such devices.
A shift of a pulse train synchronized to a clock pulse is carried out with the arrangement according to the invention with the help of a delay element that is to be moved Pulse delayed, and a coincidence gate connected downstream of the delay element, that under the influence of the pulse to be shifted at the desired point in time a pulse ■ fades out the clock pulse, achieved in that the delay element from the series connection consists of two four-pole terminals made up of purely passive switching elements, the first of which is designed as a differentiator, preferably in Shape of a half T-link, in its only equipped longitudinal branch lying in front of the transverse branch a capacitor and in its shunt arm a resistor bridged by a directional conductor is with such a passage direction that the capacitor after charging by the Leading edge of the pulse to be shifted is discharged, and of which the second as an integrator is designed, preferably also in the form of a half T-link, in its only equipped, a directional branch in front of the transverse branch

This switched coincidence gate with safety locked voltage breaks down very quickly as the is. The embodiment was explained 55 for the case of resistance Wl bridged by the directional conductor Rl that the applied pulse is positive. This directional guide is permeable from the polarity. If you want to delay the impulses of the negative capacitor-carrying wire of the four-polarity shown, only the one in the poles to the other wire has to be delayed. This is the reason, circuit specified directional conductors in each case with why the voltage-reversed conducting direction occurring on the capacitor is used, voltage is diverted so quickly. The trailing edge of the pulse that shifts to 60 that instead of the triode shown, in turn causes a strengthening device, which at the same time reverses the voltage function obtained from the four-voltage surge, this time in the opposite polarity, in any direction, but this time the voltage at the condenser any other reinforcement device, e.g. B. a generator C1 occurring voltage can not be used so quickly to transistor, needs to collapse, since the directional conductor R 1 in this 65 individual not to be carried out further.
