Abstract

The bearing block (1) has two bearing apertures (5,6) accommodating the ends of the plastics bearing bolt (3). The bearing bolt carries two L-section metal bushes (24) which support the pedal (2). The bolt is hollow with a slightly tapering bore. The first end of the plastics bolt (7) is open and has a bayonet lock (8) with ribs (12) on the bearing block engaging grooves (9) in the bolt. The bore at the second end (13) of the bolt is narrowed and has a hexagonal aperture (19). There are flanges (14) and locking ribs at the second end of the bolt.
