Insgesamt hat es sich als zweckmäßig erwiesen, die Waschflüssigkeit bei einer Temperatur von –10°C bis +10°C von oben und/oder von der Seite in die Stoffaustauschkolonne zu fördern. Die Waschflüssigkeit wird in einer Kreislaufführung gefördert; sie nimmt dabei das Kondensat auf und erwärmt sich entsprechend der erforderlichen Kühlleistung auf der Gasseite.
