Insbesondere leichtere Verunreinigungen verbleiben nach dem Abreinigen in der Nähe des Filterkörpers im Zuströmraum. Sobald der Reinigungsvorgang am jeweiligen Segment beendet ist und der von außen nach innen strömende Filtriervorgang wieder anläuft, können sich die abgereinigten und neue Verunreinigungen sofort wieder an der Außenseite des Filterkörpers anlegen.
