Damit dieses Haustier rückwärts zu einem Kofferraum hin ebenfalls gehalten wird, ist ein zweites flächiges Deckelement 7 vorgesehen, welches beim Umklappen der Sitzlehne 1 nach vorne ortsfest verbleibt. Das zweite flächige Deckelement 7 ist jedoch versteift durch entsprechende Kunststoffstrukturen und kann an seinem oberen Ende, skizziert in der 1 durch einen nicht ausgefüllten Kreis, gelöst werden; bzw. nach der Lösung durch einen Klickhalter wieder arretiert werden. Dann rastet diese aks Deckwand wieder ein, und kann per Knopfdruck wieder gelöst werden. Das zweite flächige Deckelement 7 bildet daher eine klappbare Rückwand aus, stellt eine vertikale Komponente der Hundedecke dar. Während die Sitzlehne 1 in ihrer aufrechten Stellung ist, schmiegen sich das erste flächige Deckelement 5 und das zweite flächige Deckelement 7 aneinander, sodass die Oberflächen des jeweiligen Deckelements 5, 7, die in Kontakt mit dem Haustier waren, in einen zugeklappten Zustand verstaut werden und nicht länger im Fahrzeuginnenraum exponiert freiliegen. Sämtlicher Schmutz ist dabei hinter der Sitzlehne 1 und der durch das zweite flächige Deckelement 7 gebildeten dünnwandigen Rückwand aus Kunststoff eingeschlossen. Die so gebildete Hundedecke, wenn eingeklappt, ist damit weder aus dem Kofferraum noch aus dem Fahrgastraum sichtbar.
