Abstract
An air filter, a mouth and nose mask and a method for their production are described. An air filter for vaccine production and application has a first filter material and a second filter material, which are combined in such a way that friction and separation of the filter materials result in an electrostatic charge.
Description
The invention relates to a device that filters particles, lets air through, renders germs harmless, converts viruses into vaccines and releases them.
Air filters with the above properties can be used, for example, in mouth and nose masks to prevent or end epidemics that spread through the air.
It is known that air filters that use high voltage, instead of filtering mechanically via the pore size, have both a lower tendency to clog and a lower filter resistance, since their function is not significantly dependent on the pore size. Especially in the case of very small particles to be filtered, as is the case with viruses, it is difficult to reconcile the requirement for a low filter resistance and a still functioning filtration. In the case of medical breathing masks, this situation can lead to viruses being filtered, but the gas and oxygen exchange being hampered in a way that is harmful to health, or vice versa. It is also known that bombarding viruses with electrons means that viruses become harmless and are also converted into vaccines. As can be seen from the publication 'Vaccines-chemical-free-produce' by the Fraunhofer Society.
Classic vaccine production and its application has the decisive disadvantage for epidemics, often with its availability, that it is no longer up to date. Since time is needed for development, testing, approval, transport and application, which can be used by a virus to develop further and thereby reduce or even completely negate the benefit of vaccination. Storage of many vaccines is also only possible with considerable technical and costly effort.
The object of the invention is to create a simple device for generating a suitable high voltage, which enables an air filter with low filter resistance, which can also be used for vaccine production in e.g. a mouth-nose mask, which is also characterized by easy breathing. This task is solved by the following features.
Two suitable filter materials, using the example of a mouth and nose mask, are combined in such a way that they generate static electricity in the form of electrostatic voltage during natural facial movements, such as breathing. The two filter materials are ideally selected in such a way that one material emits electrons with the least possible mechanical effort and the second material absorbs them as much as possible. For this purpose, suitable materials can be selected from a large number of known triboelectric materials. When the two complementary materials rub and separate, a parasitic electrostatic charge is created, which can amount to many hundreds or even thousands of volts, but which the wearer can neither feel nor pose a health hazard. Since electrons have a negative charge, an excess of electrons is generated as a negative charge on one filter material and a lack of electrons as a positive charge on the second filter material. The tension difference achieved depends on many factors, such as the materials selected, their surface structure, the temperature, the humidity, the surface pressure and the speed at which the two materials rub against one another and are separated from one another. It is advantageous to choose the first filter material with a higher rigidity and the second filter material with a higher elasticity, as this combination can lead to higher electrostatic voltage.
The best possible contact between the two filter materials, as will be described later in the exemplary embodiment, is also helpful for this. If a larger filter leakage is permitted for a filter material, the mask wearer can determine by the wearing direction whether he wants to use the mask to primarily supply himself or his surroundings with vaccine. A color differentiation or marking of the two filter materials can make it easier for the mask user to determine the direction.
The voltage difference created in this way creates a high-voltage field between the two filter materials. This high-voltage field accelerates free particles with electrical potential, such as electrons and protons, to very high speeds in order to bombard pathogens that get between the filter materials. The kinetic energy of the accelerated particles is sufficient to break through viruses. Due to the favorable size ratio of particles to viruses, the envelope of the virus remains intact, whereas the genetic material of the virus hit is damaged by an impacting particle. This circumstance is elementary for vaccine production, because only the combination of an intact virus envelope and damaged genetic material is used by our immune system as a vaccine to be activated and to produce antibodies. During this process, a so-called 'dead vaccine' is generated, which no longer stimulates our cells to reproduce the virus due to the damaged genetic material, which would result in a disease.
Since the mouth-nose mask described as an example always uses the current filter contamination, the vaccine produced from the contamination material is always up-to-date. A mutation of the virus between the virus contact, the vaccine production and its application is thus excluded, since the time for these processes is too short. With filter leakage control, the amount of vaccine entering the high-voltage field between the filter materials and the respiratory system of the mask wearer can easily be regulated. The direct application of the vaccine into the respiratory system also has various advantages over intramuscular application, which go far beyond the fear of injections. One of the greatest advantages is the continuous application of the vaccine, directly and immediately to the site of the disease.
To produce the application example of a mouth-nose mask described above, two suitable rectangular filter materials of the same size are placed congruently on top of each other and sewn together at all four edges, resulting in a double-layered, flat, rectangular filter element. This element is now folded twice in mirror image, each time by 1/6 of the width up and down. So that when viewed from the side, a 'Z' and a mirrored 'Z' can be seen with the connection of the lower legs. Now the right and left sides of the mask, shortened to 2/6 of the original width, are sewn together. The flattened 'Z', so to speak, and its reflection are ideally connected to the ear loops. A nose clip can also be sewn into one of the two long sides to increase the wearing comfort and tightness of the mask. To wear the mask, the 'Z' fold can be opened with the nose bridge, or both 'Z' folds if the chin should also be enclosed by the mask. Pulling up just a 'Z' has the advantage that the lower, unraised double edge of the mask, not from the wearer's neck, is displaced by head movements. The folding technique used is helpful in several respects for the function and simple production of the mask, as it also helps to achieve the best possible contact and surface pressure between the two filter materials.
