The rolling bearing designed as an angular contact ball bearing has a bearing outer ring and a bearing inner ring, which are arranged concentrically and parallel to one another about an axis of rotation. A radial axis is arranged perpendicular to the axis of rotation, which is aligned radially with respect to the axis of rotation, i.e. leading from the outer bearing ring to the inner bearing ring, or vice versa. In addition, the angular contact ball bearing has a cage which is located between the bearing outer ring and the bearing inner ring. The cage is composed of two axially opposite circular geometries with respect to the axis of rotation, hereinafter also referred to as side rings, which are connected to one another via intermediate sections that are evenly distributed in the direction of rotation, i.e. in the direction of the circumference of the rolling bearing, hereinafter also referred to as transverse webs be in contact. Between two adjacent intermediate sections there is a rolling body pocket which accommodates spherical rolling bodies. There are several rolling body pockets in the cage, evenly distributed in the direction of rotation. The rolling body pockets are formed by an approximately cylindrical recess with an associated cylinder axis which passes through the center of the cylindrical recess. The ball rolling elements are rotatably guided in the rolling element pockets so that they can roll on raceways on the two bearing rings during operation. A raceway is located in the form of a circumferential recess on the radial inside of the bearing outer ring, i.e. on the side facing the rolling elements, and is axially limited on one side by a shoulder in relation to the axis of rotation. A second raceway, also in the form of a circumferential recess, is located on the radial outside of the bearing inner ring, i.e. on the side facing the rolling elements. The raceway on the bearing inner ring is limited axially, relative to the axis of rotation, by a shoulder on the bearing inner ring on the side that is axially opposite to the shoulder of the bearing outer ring, relative to the axis of rotation. Both raceways do not run radially perpendicular to the axis of rotation, but are inclined at an angle relative to the radial axis. The raceways each have a center line which divides the raceways along their direction of rotation. If the two center lines are now connected to one another in such a way that the resulting section has the shortest length of all possible connections between the center lines, a pressure axis usually runs along this section. The cylindrical rolling body pockets in the cage are designed in such a way that their cylinder axes deviate from the alignment of the radial axis, i.e. a radial central axis, which comes from the direction of the bearing outer ring and meets the rotation axis of the angular contact ball bearing perpendicularly, and have an inclination relative to the radial axis. The cylinder axis of a rolling body pocket thus forms an angle of inclination together with the radial axis of the angular contact ball bearing. The value of this angle is not equal to the value of the previously described pressure angle, which describes the angle between the pressure axis and the radial axis. In combination with the specific design of the rolling body pockets, radial guidance of the cage on the bearing outer ring in the axial direction is provided on both sides of the angular contact ball bearing. For this purpose, a side ring of the cage is guided on the radial inside of the bearing outer ring on the shoulder surface. The other side ring is guided on a surface on the radial inside of the bearing outer ring, which is offset from the shoulder of the bearing outer ring in the axial direction, based on the axis of rotation, approximately by the diameter of one of the ball rolling bodies used in the angular contact ball bearing.
During operation, cage vibrations at various frequencies can occur in an angular contact ball bearing under certain operating conditions. Some of these are in the audible range for humans and are perceived as annoying noise emissions from the cage. In order to counteract this effect, the vibration behavior of the cage must be influenced. To do this, the mechanical factors affecting the cage, such as the friction that occurs, must be considered. However, only a holistic view of all mechanical bearing components in contact with the cage can produce a targeted solution. In order to influence the noise-causing vibration behavior of the cage, the contact to the bearing components with which the cage comes into contact during operation, i.e. the ball rolling element and the bearing outer ring, must be harmonized. For this purpose, the cage must be designed in such a way that the vibration frequencies move predominantly outside the audible range due to the respective contact with the rolling elements and the bearing outer ring or are significantly reduced during operation due to destructive interference. An inclination of the rolling body pockets by the inclination angle does not lead to a significant one Noise reduction in warehouse operations. Even the mere outer ring guidance only has a small influence on the vibration behavior of the cage.
The invention is based on the finding that a combination of a specifically adjusted shape of the rolling body pockets and outer ring guidance on both sides causes such an effect and realizes low-noise bearing operation.
For this purpose, the angular contact ball bearing has a convex curvature on one of the two side rings of the cage on a surface facing the bearing outer ring. The other of the two side rings of the cage has a convex curvature on a surface facing the bearing outer ring, the convex curvature of one side ring being different in its expression from the convex curvature of the other side ring. This curvature can have one or more curvatures in the radial direction, relative to the axis of rotation. While one side ring has a slightly pronounced curvature in the direction of the surface of the bearing outer ring that is radially opposite to it, based on the axis of rotation, the second side ring can have a curvature scaled by a factor.
According to the invention, the interaction of the specific design of the rolling body pockets with the guidance on both sides of the cage, which has a convex curvature on the surfaces facing the bearing outer ring, influences the vibration behavior of the cage in such a way that disturbing cage noises are significantly reduced. In contrast to approaches that regulate noise-causing cage vibrations via process parameters such as temperature, composition and viscosity of the lubricant and bearing speed, the solution presented here is also independent of dynamic process influencing variables and therefore has reliable applicability.
The angle of inclination preferably does not deviate from the pressure angle by more than 20°. In the cross section along the radial axis in the direction of the rotation axis, both the cylinder axis of the rolling body pocket and the pressure axis have an inclination relative to the radial axis. The angle formed between the cylinder axis and the pressure axis is preferably in a range from greater than 0° to a maximum of 20°.
In an expedient development, the angular contact ball bearing has a cross-sectional area of one side ring in the radial cross section of the cage related to the axis of rotation along the axis of rotation, which has a similar cross-sectional geometry to the cross-sectional area of the other side ring. Preferably, the geometric features of the cross-sectional areas of the two side rings of the cage are similar, such as orientation or inclination of the edges, curvatures or basic geometric figure. The cross-sectional areas of the side rings can match both in a variety of features and only in one specific feature.
Finally, in a further embodiment, the angular contact ball bearing has a cage designed as a hard fabric or plastic cage.

Ausführliche Beschreibung der ZeichnungenDetailed description of the drawings
