Die Erfindung betrifft eine Klebeverbindung mit einem Heißkleber und ein Verfahren zum Fügen und Trennen einer derartigen Klebeverbindung, wobei zwei zu verbindende Bauteile mittels des Heißklebers verbunden sind. Aus dem Stand der Technik sind derartige Klebeverbindungen für eine Vielzahl von zu verbindenden Bauteilen für verschiedenste Anwendungen bekannt. Bei Klebeverbindungen für Bauteile, die empfindlich auf Druck reagieren, wie beispielsweise elektrooptische Displays ist ein Lösen solcher Verbindungen schwierig bis unmöglich, wenn die verbundenen Bauteile nicht beschädigt werden sollen. Beispielsweise kann es bei dem Zusammenbau von elektrooptischen Anzeigen mit Gehäusen und/oder Deckgläsern vorkommen, dass eine zerstörungsfreie Demontage der Bauteile schwierig bis unmöglich ist, wenn beispielsweise aufgetretene Defekte behoben werden sollen.The invention relates to an adhesive connection with a hot-melt adhesive and a method for joining and separating such an adhesive connection, two components to be connected being connected by means of the hot-melt adhesive. Ein erfindungsgemäßes Verfahren ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zwischen die zu fügenden Bauteile der Heißkleber mit der Heizvorrichtung angebracht wird und der Heißkleber zumindest teilweise aufgeschmolzen wird, die zu fügenden Bauteile miteinander gefügt werden, wobei der Heißkleber so zwischen den beiden zu fügenden Bauteilen angeordnet wird, dass er beide zu fügenden Bauteile berührt. Hierbei kann der Heißkleber von außerhalb nur an den Rändern erhitzt werden, die im zusammengefügten Zustand an den zu fügenden Bauteilen anliegen. Es ist aber auch möglich, auf eine zusätzliche Heizvorrichtung zu verzichten und die innerhalb des Heißklebers vorhandene Heizvorrichtung durch Anlegen einer elektrischen Spannung an die Heizvorrichtung zu benutzen und so den Heißkleber auf zu schmelzen.
