Description
Technisches GebietTechnical area
The present invention relates to a slide bearing and a manufacturing method for manufacturing a slide bearing.
High demands are placed on plain bearings with regard to the loads that occur. This applies in particular to dynamic pressure loads as well as wear in the event of unfavorable friction conditions.
In addition to good sliding properties, a slide bearing according to the invention is characterized in particular by a high resistance to bearing-specific loads such as dynamic pressure loads and wear. Furthermore, a slide bearing according to the invention is distinguished from a conventional slide bearing by material and weight savings.
Stand der TechnikState of the art
Conventional plain bearings, on the other hand, usually have dense sliding layers, i.e. layers in which no or negligibly few gas-filled pores occur.
Such plain bearings usually have only a low resistance to the dynamic pressure loads occurring in the operating state.
Darstellung der ErfindungPresentation of the invention
The invention is therefore based on the object of providing a slide bearing which, in addition to good sliding properties, has a high resistance to bearing-specific loads such as dynamic pressure loads and wear and at the same time enables material and weight savings.
This object is achieved by the slide bearing described in
The combination according to the invention of a porous layer and a surface layer makes a significant contribution. In the context of this disclosure, a porous layer is understood to mean a layer whose pores are at least partially filled with gas.
The structure of the material described here, comprising a porous layer and a surface layer, essentially corresponds to the structure of bone structures. This structure is characterized by its high-strength, light and stable properties. Despite the lightweight construction principle, this structure is responsible for the stability and adaptability of the bones. In the context of the present invention, this principle is to be transferred to a plain bearing. Due to the cross-linked structure, the porous layer is able to absorb the high dynamic pressure loads that occur during slide bearing operation and to absorb the energy through cushioning. Furthermore, the elastic resilience of the porous layer can increase the embedding capacity, i.e. dirt particles can be embedded in the layer system in a simplified manner and thus do not lead to any further damage. Finally, in the course of the service life of the sliding bearing, the acting compressive forces lead to a compression of the porous layer and a stabilization of the layer, so that the structure according to the invention advantageously supports the bearing during running-in.
Since the porous layer offers high resistance to dynamic pressure loads, the surface layer can be optimized with regard to improved sliding properties and increased wear resistance.
The combination of a porous layer on the one hand and a surface layer on the other hand thus results in a synergetic manner in a coating system that is optimally tailored to the various load requirements for a plain bearing. Furthermore, the porosity of a partial layer of the plain bearing leads to significant material and weight savings.
Preferred developments are described in the further claims.
The porous layer of the sliding bearing according to the invention advantageously has a pore proportion of at least 20 percent by area (corresponds to 20 percent by volume in the body) in the microsection. By setting a minimum porosity of 20 area percent, sufficient resistance to dynamic pressure loads can be guaranteed. The surface porosity is measured in the plane perpendicular to the thickness direction of the porous layer.
The surface layer of the sliding bearing preferably has a porosity of less than 0.3 area percent. Such a dense surface layer can be optimally adjusted to the load requirements with regard to wear and sliding properties.
The surface layer preferably has high hardness and strength. For this purpose, materials made of copper with high contents of Sn, Ni, Cr, Zr, Zn, Fe, Mn, P, Si, Ta, Te, W, Ti, V, Mo and Al or alloys made of these elements are well suited. According to a preferred embodiment, the surface layer therefore consists of a material of the CuX type and optionally up to a total of 3 percent by weight of solid lubricant and / or hard particles, where X is one or more elements selected from Sn, Ni, Cr, Zr, Zn, Fe, Mn, P , Si, Ta, Te, W, Ti, V, Mo and Al in a total amount of up to 20 percent by weight, based on the material CuX. Depending on the application, the properties of the surface layer can be varied and adapted. On the one hand, it is provided that the surface layer is made very hard and wear-resistant. The layer designed in this way has a high fatigue strength and can be used in highly stressed bearings. Alternatively, a softer and more adaptable surface layer is conceivable, which is particularly advantageous in the case of very rough counter rotations, e.g. made of cast iron materials. Finally, within the scope of the present invention, the adhesion and seizure resistance of the plain bearing can also be optimized through a suitable choice of material.
The solid lubricants preferably include h-BN, graphite, PTFE, sulfates, in particular BaSO 4 , and / or sulfides, in particular MoS 2 , WS 2 , ZnS and / or SnS. Furthermore, the hard particles preferably include nitrides, carbides, silicides, phosphides, phosphates and / or fluorides, particularly preferably TiC, MoC, AlN, c-BN, TiB 2 , Y 2 O 3 , SiC, Si 3 N 4 , ZrO 2 and / or Al 2 O 3 . The mentioned solid lubricants and hard particles have proven to be particularly suitable with regard to the optimization of the sliding properties and the wear resistance.
The adjustability and adaptation of the layer is also conceivable in the case of the porous layer. Various properties can be changed and set by choosing the copper alloy. The porous layer therefore advantageously consists of a material of the CuX type, where X is one or more elements selected from Ni, Cr, Zr, Zn, Fe, Mn, P, Si, Ta, Te, W, Ti, V, Mo and Al in a total amount of up to 20 percent by weight.
Vorzugsweise beträgt die Schichtdicke daher 5 bis 200µm, besonders bevorzugt 20 bis 100 µm.A layer thickness of the surface layer of 5 to 200 μm is advantageous for sufficient stability and strength of the system as well as for wear resistance and transfer of pressure loads. The layer thickness is therefore preferably 5 to 200 μm, particularly preferably 20 to 100 μm.
The porous layer and the surface layer preferably consist of the same base material. In this constellation, the production of the plain bearing can be significantly simplified, the different target properties of the porous layer and the surface layer being set by different process steps and parameters.
According to a preferred embodiment, the porous layer is designed to be open-pored. In the case of an open porosity, the surface layer can be particularly easily functionalized or compacted by subsequent rolling. Alternatively, the porous layer is closed-cell.
The support shell is advantageously made of steel. Such support shells have proven to be particularly suitable for the construction of slide bearings.
According to a preferred embodiment, the porous layer is produced by sintering a powder mixture consisting of a material of the CuX type, optionally up to a total of 3 percent by weight of solid lubricants and / or hard particles and optionally additives and / or plastics, where X is one or more elements selected from Sn, Ni, Cr, Zr, Zn, Fe, Mn, P, Si, Ta, Te, W, Ti, V, Mo and Al in a total amount of up to 20 percent by weight, based on the material CuX.
Besonders bevorzugte funktionelle Teilchen sind: B4C, TaN, TaB, ZrO2, TaC, AlN, ZrB2, HfO2, ZrC, ZrN, HfB, Al2O3, HfC, HfN, TiB2, CrO2, SiC, c-BN, CrB2, Y2O3, TiC, Si3N4, MoB, MgO, Cr2C, TiN, WB, MoC und WC.The sintering powder is preferably obtained from an atomization system. The technically required high proportion of fine powder (<5 µm) in the sintering powder can be used to enable the sintering temperature to be reduced. The atomization process of the copper powder basically allows the use of pure elements for powder production. The costs for the input materials can thus be minimized. Furthermore, further functional particles, solid lubricants such as e.g. B. h-BN, graphite, PTFE, sulfates, in particular BaSO 4 , and / or sulfides, in particular MoS 2 , WS 2 , ZnS and / or SnS, hard particles, such as oxides, nitrides, carbides, silicides, phosphides, phosphates and / or fluorides, are introduced allow an application-oriented optimization of the material. Particularly preferred functional particles are: B 4 C, TaN, TaB, ZrO 2 , TaC, AlN, ZrB 2 , HfO 2 , ZrC, ZrN, HfB, Al 2 O 3 , HfC, HfN, TiB 2 , CrO 2 , SiC, c-BN, CrB 2 , Y 2 O 3 , TiC, Si 3 N 4 , MoB, MgO, Cr 2 C, TiN, WB, MoC and WC.
The size and distribution of the porosity is adjusted through the appropriate selection of the sintering conditions. Porous structures, which are also referred to as metal foams, can be created, for example, by introducing additives such as TiH 2 , carbonates from alkali or alkaline earth metals or by sintering processes with plastics that are then “burned out”. The additives decompose at the existing sintering temperatures of 800 ° C-1000 ° C and the resulting gas (H 2 , CO 2 , etc.) creates the pores in the material due to the gas pressure.
It is provided that the surface layer is produced by rolling the porous layer, the roll gap being set during rolling in such a way that the porosity of the porous layer is at least partially retained in the direction facing the support shell. In other words, the surface layer should be produced by a targeted rolling process of the porous layer, with only the uppermost part of the porous layer being rolled or compacted through the appropriate setting of the roll gap.
Furthermore, the rolling is preferably followed by a sintering step for annealing the surface layer. In this way, a homogeneous structure and a surface porosity of less than 0.3% can be ensured in the surface layer.
By means of adapted process technology and sintering conditions (powder size, grain size distribution, sintering process, etc.), according to a preferred embodiment, a closed porosity in the porous layer and / or a dense surface layer can be generated even during sintering.
Alternatively, the surface layer can also be sintered onto the porous layer. In principle, a good bond between the surface layer and the porous layer is of great importance here. This can be ensured by diffusion during (subsequent) sintering. Since both layers consist of a copper matrix, the (downstream) sintering ensures a good bond between the layers.
Finally, it is optionally provided to subject the surface layer to precipitation hardening by means of a temperature treatment. The temperature treatment can include heating, holding and (accelerated) cooling steps. In this way, the surface layer can be optimized in terms of strength, hardness, wear resistance and / or sliding properties.
Finally, the surface layer can optionally be mechanically processed. In this way, in particular, both the manufacturing tolerance of the slide bearings can be ensured and the mean roughness depth Rz can be reduced, which leads to improved sliding properties.
