Abstract
Katalysatorzusammensetzung zur selektiven katalytischen Reduktion für die Umwandlung von Stickstoffoxiden (NOx) in einem Abgas unter Verwendung eines stickstoffhaltigen Reduktionsmittels, wobei die Katalysatorzusammensetzung eine Mischung aus einer ersten Komponente und einer zweiten Komponente umfasst, wobei die erste Komponente die H-Form eines Aluminosilikat-Chabasit-Zeolith (CHA) hat; oder eine Vermischung der H-Form eines Aluminosilikat-Mordenit-Zeolith (MOR) und der H-Form eines Aluminosilikat-Chabasit-Zeolith (CHA); und die zweite Komponente ein Vanadiumoxid ist, geträgert auf einem Metalloxidträger, bei dem es sich um Titandioxid, Silica-stabilisiertes Titandioxid oder eine Mischung von Titandioxid und Silica-stabilisiertem Titandioxid handelt, wobei das Gewichtsverhältnis der ersten Komponente zu der zweiten Komponente 10:90 bis 25:75 beträgt.

- Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Katalysatorzusammensetzung zur selektiven katalytischen Reduktion für die Umwandlung von Oxiden von Stickstoff (NOx) in einem Abgas unter Verwendung eines stickstoffhaltigen Reduktionsmittels.

US 4798813 offenbart einen Katalysator zum Entfernen von Stickstoffoxiden aus Abgasen von Verbrennungsöfen, die flüchtige Katalysatorgifte, wie Arsen, Selen und Tellur, enthalten. Der Katalysator umfasst ein Titandioxid mit einem Oberflächenbereich von 20 m2/g oder weniger und einen Zeolith mit 0,01 bis 20 Gewichts-% von darauf geträgertem Kupfer; einem durchschnittlichen Porendurchmesser von 10 Å oder weniger; und einem Silica/Aluminiumoxid-Molverhältnis von 10 oder mehr. - Die
US 4735927A1 offenbart einen Katalysator für die selektive Reduktion von Stickstoffoxiden zu Stickstoff in der Gegenwart von Ammoniak, welcher gegen Vergiftung durch in einem Abgas enthaltene Schwefeloxide beständig ist. Der Katalysator liegt in der Form von Verbundkörpern vor, die aus einer Mischung von Anatase (5 bis 40 Gewichts-%), einem Zeolith (50 bis 90%), einem Bondmaterial (0 bis 30%) und gegebenenfalls einem Promotor, der aus Oxiden von Vanadium, Molybdän und Kupfer gewählt ist, in einer Menge von wenigstens 0,1 Gewichts-% gebildet werden. - Die

US 4663300A offenbart eine Katalysatorzusammensetzung und ein Verfahren zur Reduktion von Stickstoffoxiden in Rauchgasen zu Stickstoff. Der Katalysator umfasst Titandioxid, Mordenit und eine Metallkomponente. Die bevorzugte Metallkomponente umfasst Vanadiumoxid and Wolframoxid. Wenigstens 15 Gew.-% Mordenit sind vorhanden, wobei Mordenit mit hohem Silicagehalt bevorzugt ist. - Die
EP 2614886 A1 offenbart einen NOx-Reduktionskatalysator für die katalytische Reduktion von Stickoxid mit Ammoniak in Boiler-Abgas aus der Verbrennung von Kohle mit einem hohen Schwefelgehalt, Kohle aus dem Powder River Basin (USA), Biomasse etc., die ebenfalls Katalysatorgifte, wie Arsen, Phosphor und Kalium enthält. Solche Katalysatoren erfordern ein niedriges Verhältnis der SO2-Oxidation, um SO3-Emission und die Bildung von so genanntem „saurem Regen“ zu vermeiden, sowie eine hohe Aktivität beim Oxidieren von in dem Abgas vorhandenem Quecksilber. Der Katalysator ist aus einer Katalysatorzusammensetzung zusammengesetzt, die Titan (Ti), ein Oxid von Phosphor, Molybdän (Mo) und/oder Wolfram (W), Oxid von Vanadium (V) und einen Zeolith mit hohem Silicagehalt, der ein SiO2/Al2O3-Verhältnis von nicht weniger als 20 aufweist, umfasst. - Nach fortgeführten Forschungsarbeiten in Verbindung mit den Katalysator-formulierungen, die in der
WO 2014/027207 A1 US 4663300A offenbart ist, oder die Zusammensetzung, die nur das Eisen-unterstützte Aluminosilikat-MFI-Zeolith einschließt, die in derWO 2014/027207 A1 - Gemäß einem ersten Aspekt stellt die Erfindung eine Katalysatorzusammensetzung zur selektiven katalytischen Reduktion für die Umwandlung von Oxiden von Stickstoff (NOx) in einem Abgas unter Verwendung eines stickstoffhaltigen Reduktionsmittels bereit, wobei die Katalysatorzusammensetzung eine Mischung aus einer ersten Komponente und einer zweiten Komponente umfasst, wobei die erste Komponente die H-Form eines Aluminosilikat-Chabasit-Zeoliths (CHA) ist; oder eine Vermischung der H-Form eines Aluminosilikat-Mordenit-Zeoliths (MOR) und der H-Form eines Aluminosilikat-Chabasit-Zeoliths (CHA); und die zweite Komponente ein Vanadiumoxid ist, geträgert auf einem Metalloxidträger, bei dem es sich um Titandioxid, Silica-stabilisiertes Titandioxid oder eine Mischung von Titandioxid und Silica-stabilisiertem Titandioxid handelt, wobei das Gewichtsverhältnis der ersten Komponente zu der zweiten Komponente 10:90 bis 25:75 beträgt.
- Die vorliegende Offenbarung wird nunmehr weiter beschrieben. In den folgenden Abschnitten werden verschiedene Aspekte/Ausführungsformen der Offenbarung ausführlicher definiert. Jede(r) so definierte Aspekt/Ausführungsform kann mit jedem anderen Aspekt/Ausführungsform oder Aspekten/Ausführungsformen kombiniert werden, wenn nicht eindeutig etwas anderes angegeben ist. Insbesondere kann jedes als bevorzugt oder vorteilhaft angegebene Merkmal mit jedem anderen als bevorzugt oder vorteilhaft angegebenen Merkmal oder Merkmalen kombiniert werden. Es ist beabsichtigt, dass die in Bezug auf das Produkt offenbarten Merkmale mit den in Bezug auf das Verfahren kombinierten und umgekehrt kombiniert werden kann.
- Darüber hinaus kann der Begriff „umfassen(d)“, wie hierin verwendet, für gegen die Definitionen „im Wesentlichen bestehend aus“ oder „bestehend“ ausgetauscht werden. Die Begriff „umfassen“ soll bedeuten, dass die genannten Elemente unerlässlich sind, aber andere Elemente hinzugefügt werden können und immer noch ein Konstrukt innerhalb des Umfangs des Anspruchs bilden. Der Ausdruck „im Wesentlichen bestehend aus“ beschränkt den Umfang eines Anspruchs auf die spezifizierten Materialien oder Schritte und diejenigen, die nicht wesentlich die grundlegende(n) und neue(n) Charaktistik bzw. Charakteristika der beanspruchten Erfindung beeinflussen. Der Ausdruck „bestehend aus“ beschränkt den Anspruch auf den Einschluss von keinen anderen Materialien als den angeführten, mit Ausnahme von Verunreinigungen, die für Gewöhnlich damit assoziert sind.
- Wo beide vorhanden sind, beträgt das Gewichtsverhältnis der H-Form des Aluminosilikat-Mordenit-Zeolith (MOR) zu der H-Form eines Aluminosilikat-Chabasit-Zeolith (CHA) vorzugsweise von 5:3 bis 3:5, am meisten bevorzugt von 1:1 bis 3:5. Die Vorteile dieser Parameter sind in den nachstehenden Beispielen angeführt.
- Gegebenenfalls beträgt das Gewichtsverhältnis der ersten Komponente zu der zweiten Komponente 15:85 bis 20:80.
- Vorzugsweise umfasst dort, wo die Katalysatorzusammensetzung gemäß dem ersten Aspekt der Erfindung der Extrusion in ein Substrat dient, umfasst die Katalysatorzusammensetzung eine oder mehrere Binderkomponenten, wobei das Gewichtsverhältnis des gemeinsamen Gewichts der ersten und zweiten Komponente zu dem gemeinsamen Gewicht der einen oder mehreren Binderkomponenten 80:20 bis 95:5, vorzugsweise 90:10 bis 85:15, beträgt. Die eine oder mehreren Binderkomponenten können ein Ton, z. B. Aluminiumoxid und/oder Glasfasern sein.
- Der CHA-Framework-Typ-Code (definiert durch die International Zeolite Association) bezieht sich auf eine Familie von natürlichen oder synthetischen Molekülsieben, welche dieselbe Struktur teilen. CHA ist dadurch definiert, dass er eine größte Porenöffnung von acht vierflächigen Atomen aufweist, und Molekülsiebe mit dieser Eigenschaft werden in der Literatur als „kleinporige“ Molekülsiebe bezeichnet. Aluminosilikat-Molekülsiebe werden häufig als Zeolithe bezeichnet. Ein bevorzugter Aluminosilikat-Zeolith des CHA-Framework-Typ-Codes ist SSZ-13. Der synthetische CHA-Aluminosilikat ist bekannt und ist umfassend untersucht und charakterisiert worden. Siehe zum Beispiel
US-Patent Nr. 4544538 ,WO 2008/106519 WO 2008/132452 - Der Mordenit des MOR-Framework-Typ-Code wurde ursprünglich als ein natürliches Mineral ausgewiesen, ist aber anschließend synthetisch hergestellt worden (siehe Meier, W.M., The crystal structure of mordenite (ptilolite) Z. Kristallogr., 115, 439-450 (1961); und US-Patent Nr. 4503023). In ähnlicher Weise wurde der CHA-Framework-Typ-Code ursprünglich als ein natürliches Mineral ausgewiesen, ist aber anschließend synthetisch hergestellt worden (siehe D.S. Coombs et al. Can. Mineral. 35 (1997) 1571-1606; und US-Patent Nr. US-Patent Nr. 4544538). Obwohl es möglich ist, natürliches Mordenit und/oder Chabasit in der vorliegenden Erfindung zu verwenden, mit der Maßgabe, dass geeignete Schritte vorgenommen werden, um Verunreinigungen und Gegenionen, wie Calcium, Magnesium, Strontium, Natrium und/oder Kalium, die in dem natürlichen Material vorhanden sind, zu entfernen, z. B. durch Waschen und Ammoniumionenaustausch (siehe z. B.
DE102005010221 ), bevorzugen wir die Verwendung von synthetischem Aluminosilikat-Mordenit. Das der Mischung hinzugegebene Mordenit, die zur Herstellung des Produkts gemäß der Erfindung verwendet wird (siehe Beispiel 1) kann die zuvor hergestellte H-Form von Mordenit oder die Ammoniumform sein, die - im Anschluss an eine Kalzinierung - zur H-Form umgewandelt wird, wenn Ammoniak daraus entfernt wird. - Vorzugsweise beträgt das Silica-zu-Aluminiumoxid-Verhältnis (SAR) des synthetischen Aluminosilikat-CHA 20:50. Wenn das SAR zu hoch ist, wird der Oberflächenbereich des Zeoliths reduziert, und es gibt zu wenig Säurestellen, um wirksam Ammoniak zu speichern und/oder für die NOx-Umwandlungsaktivität. Wenn das SAR zu niedrig ist, ist der Zeolith für eine strukturelle Zerstörung und somit einen Zusammenbruch des Framework und des Oberflächenbereichs durch hydrothermische Alterung bei Gebrauch anfällig. Natürliches Chabasit hat ein SAR von 2 zu 8.
- Das SAR des Mordenit des synthetischen Aluminosilikat-Mordenit für die Verwendung in der Erfindung kann 10 bis 30 betragen aus den gleichen Gründen, wie in Verbindung mit der hierin zuvor genannten CHA besprochen. Natürlicher Mordenit hat typischerweise ein SAR von 8 zu 12.
- Geeignete Tone schließen Fullererde, Sepiolith, Hektorit, ein Smektit, ein Kaolin und Mischungen von Beliebigen oder mehreren davon ein, wobei das Kaolin aus Subbentonit, Anauxit, Halloysit, Kaolinit, Dickit, Nakrit und Mischungen von Beliebigen oder mehreren davon gewählt wird; der Smektit aus der Gruppe gewählt werden kann, die aus Montmorillonit, Nontronit, Vermiculit, Saponit und Mischungen von Beliebigen zwei oder mehreren davon besteht; und die Fullererde Montmorillonit oder Palygorskit (Attapulgit) sein kann.
- Die anorganischen Fasern können aus der aus Kohlefasern, Glasfasern, Metallfasern, Borfasern, Aluminiumoxidfasern, Silicafasern, Silica-Aluminiumoxid-Fasern, Siliciumcarbidfasern, Kaliumtitanatfasern, Aluminiumboratfasern und keramischen Fasern bestehenden Gruppe gewählt werden. Anorganische Fasern können die mechanische Robustheit des kalzinierten Produkts für die Verwendung in den bevorzugten Kraftfahrzeuganwendungen und während des sogenannten „Cannings“ des kalzinierten Produkts für die Verwendung in einem Kraftfahrzeug-Abgassystem verbessern.
- Das Aluminiumoxid ist vorzugsweise Gamma-Aluminiumoxid. Wenn ein Aluminiumoxid verwendet wird, um das Binden mit dem Aluminiumoxid sicherzustellen, ist es vorteilhaft, eine wässrige Lösung eines wasserlöslichen Metallsalzes dem Aluminiumoxid oder der Vorstufensubstanz des Aluminiumoxid vor dem Zugeben der anderen Ausgangsmaterialien hinzuzusetzen. Alternativ kann jedes andere Übergangs-Aluminiumoxid, d. h. Alpha-Aluminiumoxid, Beta-Aluminiumoxid, Chi-Aluminiumoxid, Eta-Aluminiumoxid, Rho-Aluminiumoxid, Kappa-Aluminiumoxid, Theta-Aluminiumoxid, Delta-Aluminiumoxid, Lanthan-beta-aluminiumoxid und Mischungen von beliebigen zwei oder mehreren von solchen Übergangs-Aluminiumoxiden, verwendet werden. Das Aluminiumoxid kann auch der extrudierbaren Mischung als ein Sol zugegeben werden, mit dem Nutzen, dass das resultierende kalzinierte Produkt mechanisch robuster ist.
- Vorzugsweise umfasst zur Verbesserung der thermischen Stabilität des Katalysators und der frischen NOx-Umwandlungsaktivität der Metalloxidträger der zweiten Komponente Wolframoxid, Molybdänoxid, sowohl Wolframoxid als auch Molybdänoxid, aber stärker bevorzugt Wolframoxid.
- Das Vanadiumoxid der zweiten Komponente kann Eisenvanadat umfassen, weil es bestimmte Vorteile vorsehen kann, darin eingeschlossen eine verbesserte Niedrigtemperatur (180 - 350°C-) Aktivität und eine höhere Temperaturstabilität als Vanadiumoxid, wie in der
WO 2011/127505 - Die Katalysatorzusammensetzung kann, inklusive eines beliebigen Bindemittels, 0,5 bis 5,0 Gewichtsprozent Vanadium, berechnet als V2O5, vorzugsweise 1,0 bis 3,0 Gew.-%, bezogen auf das Gesamtgewicht der Katalysatorzusammensetzung als Ganzes, umfassen. Diese Berechnungsmethode trifft auch dann zu, wenn die Vanadiumkomponente Eisenvanadat (FeVO4) ist.
- Gemäß einem zweiten Aspekt wird ein katalytischer Washcoat bereitgestellt, welcher eine Katalysatorzusammensetzung gemäß dem ersten Aspekt der Erfindung umfasst, die einen oder mehrere Füllstoffe, Bindemittel, Verarbeitungshilfsstoffe, Wasser und Dotiermittel umfasst. Verarbeitungshilfsstoffe können Rheologie-Modifizierer für die Verwendung in solchen Verfahren einschließen, wie sie in Beschichtungsverfahren offenbart sind, wie zum Beispiel
WO 99/047260 A1 WO 2011/080525 A1 WO 2014/195685 A1 WO 2015/145122 A2 - Gemäß einem dritten Aspekt stellt die Erfindung einen Katalysatorartikel bereit, welcher einen Substrat-Monolith umfasst, der mit einem katalytischen Washcoat gemäß dem zweiten Aspekt der Erfindung überzogen ist. Das Substrat kann ein Metall-Durchfluss-Substrat, ein keramisches Durchfluss-Substrat, ein Wandstrom-Filter, ein gesinterter Metallfilter oder ein partieller bzw. Nebenstromfilter sein.
- Gemäß einem vierten Aspekt umfasst ein bevorzugter Katalysatorartikel die Katalysatorzusammensetzung gemäß dem ersten Aspekt der Erfindung in der Form eines extrudierten Substrats, vorzugsweise eines Honigwaben-Monoliths. In diesem Fall enthält die Katalysatorzusammensetzung vorzugsweise Wolfram an Stelle von Molybdat.
- Es wird gewürdigt, dass der Nutzen der Erfindung, d. h. eine verbesserte NOx-Umwandlungsaktivität und eine niedrigere N2O-Erzeugung, unabhängig davon erzielt wird, ob die Katalysatorzusammensetzung als ein auf ein inertes Substrat beschichteter Washcoat oder als ein extrudiertes Substrat vorliegt.
- Verfahren zur Herstellung eines extrudierten Katalysatorartikels gemäß dem vierten Aspekt der Erfindung sind z. B. von der
WO 2014/027207 A1 WO 2011/092521 A1 - Der Katalysatorartikel gemäß dem dritten oder vierten Aspekt der Erfindung kann eine zweite Katalysatorzusammensetzung in der Form eines Washcoat zur selektiven Reduzierung von NOx unter Verwendung eines stickstoffhaltigen Reduktionsmittels und/oder zum Oxidieren von NH3 umfassen, wobei die zweite Katalysatorzusammensetzung: (a) eine Katalysatormischung gemäß dem ersten Aspekt der Erfindung; (b) ein Übergangsmetallunterstütztes Molekülsieb; (c) ein auf einem Metalloxid geträgertes Metall der Platingruppe; oder (d) ein Katalysator, der auf Titandioxid geträgertes Vanadiumoxid umfasst, ist. Es wird gewürdigt, dass die Option (a) bereits durch den dritten Aspekt der Erfindung definiert ist und daher aus jedem Anspruch, der von dem Anspruch des dritten Aspekts der Erfindung abhängig ist, gestrichen werden kann.
- Der Katalysatorartikel von einem aus dem dritten oder vierten Aspekt der Erfindung kann einen Ammoniak-Schlupfkatalysator (ASC) umfassen, welcher eine erste Schicht von (c) zum Oxidieren von Ammoniak und eine zweite den Katalysator gemäß dem ersten Aspekt der Erfindung umfassende Schicht umfasst, wobei die erste Schicht direkt auf dem Substrat vorliegt und die zweite Schicht die erste Schicht überlagert. Diese Anordnung ist dadurch günstig, dass sie die folgenden Reaktionen befördern kann. In der ersten Schicht: 2NH3 + 1,5 O2 → N2 + 3 H2O (+ NO und/oder NO2); und in der zweiten Schicht: NO + NH3 + ¼ O2 → N2 + 3/2 H2O; oder NO + NO2 + 2 NH3 → 2 N2 + 3H2O; oder NO2 + 4/3 NH3 → 7/6 N2 + 2 H2O. Die Quelle des NO und NO2 in den Reaktionen der zweiten Schicht können das Abgas selbst und/oder Nebenreaktionen in der ersten Schicht sein, die NO oder NO2, erzeugen. Die Quelle von Ammoniak in den Reaktionen der zweiten Schicht kann das Abgas selbst und/oder Ammoniak, adsorbiert auf Komponenten der zweiten Schicht, von dem Abgas sein.
- Gemäß einem fünften Aspekt wird ein Abgassystem zum Behandeln von Abgas bereitgestellt, welches einen Katalysator zur selektiven katalytischen Reduktion (SCR), der stromaufwärts von einem Ammoniak-Schlupfkatalysator (ASC) angeordnet ist, umfasst, wobei wenigstens eines von dem SCR- und dem ASC-Katalysator einen Katalysator gemäß dem ersten Aspekt der Erfindung umfasst.
- Das Abgassystem gemäß dem fünften Aspekt der Erfindung kann einen OxidationsKatalysator umfassen, welcher ein Metall der Platingruppe, geträgert in einem auf einen Substrat-Monolith beschichteten Metalloxid und stromaufwärts von der SCR-Katalysatorzusammensetzung angeordnet, umfasst. Dies soll die Oxidation von in dem Abgas vorhandenen Stickstoffoxid zu Stickstoffdioxid in einem angenäherten Verhältnis von 4NO:NO2 zu etwa NO:3NO2 auf Volumenbasis unterstützen. Dies erfolgt zur Beförderung einer kinetisch schnelleren Umwandlung von NOx als entweder NO oder NO2 allein (siehe zum Beispiel S. Kasaoka et al, Nippon Kagaku Kaishi, 1978, Nr. 6, S. 874-881).
- Die SCR-Katalysatorzusammensetzung gemäß der Erfindung kann zum Behandeln von Abgasen von stationären Quellen von NOx-Emission, wie einer Gasturbine oder einem kohle- oder ölbefeuerten Kraftwerk, verwendet werden. In diesem Fall kann die Katalysatorzusammensetzung auf ein so genanntes Substrat vom Plattentyp aus einem gewellten, perforierten Metallflächengebilde beschichtet werden. Katalysatorzusammensetzungen für diese Anwendung schließen vorzugsweise Molybdat an Stelle von Wolframat ein. Jedoch stellt die Erfindung vorzugsweise und gemäß einem sechsten Aspekt einen Kraftfahrzeugmotor mit interner Magerverbrennung bereit, welcher ein Abgassystem gemäß dem fünften Aspekt der Erfindung umfasst.
- Gemäß einem siebten Aspekt stellt die Erfindung ein Kraftfahrzeug bereit, welches einen Motor gemäß dem sechsten Aspekt der Erfindung umfasst.
- Gemäß einem achten Aspekt stellt die Erfindung ein Verfahren zur Behandlung eines Abgases bereit, welches gegebenenfalls ein Verhältnis von NO zu NO2 von etwa 4:1 bis etwa 1:3 auf Volumenbasis umfasst, wobei die Verhältnisse passiv unterstützt werden können, z. B. durch einen entsprechend ausgelegten Oxidationskatalysator, wobei das Verfahren die folgenden Schritte umfasst: Kontaktieren eines Abgasstroms, welcher NOx und NH3 enthält, mit einem Katalysator gemäß dem ersten Aspekt der Erfindung oder einem Katalysatorartikel gemäß dem dritten oder vierten Aspekt der Erfindung; und Umwandeln wenigstens eines Teils des NOx zu N2 und/oder Umwandeln wenigstens eines Teils des NH3 zu wenigstens einem aus N2, NO und NO2 gemäß den hierin in Bezug auf die erste und zweite Schicht beschriebenen Reaktionen, wobei die erste Schicht (c) ist, d. h. ein auf einem Metalloxid geträgertes Metall der Platingruppe.
- Für ein umfassenderes Verständnis der Erfindung werden die folgenden Beispiele lediglich zu Veranschaulichungszwecken gegeben.
- BEISPIELE
- Beispiel 1: Herstellung von extrudiertem Honigwaben-Substrat
- Ein extrudierter Honigwaben-Substrat-Katalysator gemäß der
WO 2014/027207 A1 - Die entsprechenden Verhältnisse der Zeolithe, V2O5 - WO3/TiO2, anorganische Hilfsstoffe wurden so gewählt, dass - nach der Entfernung der organischen Hilfsstoffe durch Kalzinierung - die extrudierte Substrate die in der Tabelle 1 weiter unten aufgeführten Gew.-%-Zusammensetzungen aufwiesen. - Die extrudierten Katalysator-Honigwaben-Substrate, die aus Beispiel 1 resultierten, wurden thermisch gealtert (kein zugesetztes Wasser) in einem beschleunigten Alterungsschritt entweder durch Erhitzen in einem Ofen in Luft bei über 600°C während 2 Stunden (hierin als „frisch“ bezeichnet) oder bei 650°C während 100 Stunden (hierin als „gealtert“ bezeichnet), um die erwartete Exposition der Honigwaben-Strukturen an Kraftfahrzeug-Abgase über eine Kraftfahrzeug-Nutzungsdauer gemäß der europäischen Gesetzgebung über Abgasnormen zu simulieren.
- Beispiel 3: Katalysatorleistung
- Die frischen und gealterten Substrate wurden an ein simuliertes Dieselmotor-Abgas bei einer Raumgeschwindigkeit von etwa 120 000/Stunde exponiert. Das simulierte Abgas enthielt etwa 9,3 Gew.-% O2, etwa 7,0 Gew.-% H2O, etwa 300 ppm NOx (nur NO), etwa 300 ppm NH3, und der Rest N2. Die Aktivität sowohl der frischen als auch der gealterten Katalysator-Substrate zur Umwandlung von NOx wurde bei Temperaturen von 180, 215, 250, 300 und 400°C bestimmt. Die Resultate für die % NOx-Umwandlungsdaten sind in den Tabellen 2 und 3 angegeben (je höher die Werte, umso besser). Tabelle 2 - %NOx-Umwandlung für frische Katalvsator-Substrat-Proben

Die gealterte NOx-Umwandlungsaktivität für Beispiel 1 ist besser als jedes der beiden Vergleichsbeispiele, Beispiel 3 ist vergleichbar mit der Aktivität von Vergleichsbeispiel 2, und Beispiel 2 ist Vergleichsbeispiel 1. Die N2O-Schlupfdaten in Tabelle 4 zeigen, dass Beispiel 1 eine niedrigere N2O-Erzeugung als Vergleichsbeispiel 2 und eine vergleichbare N2O-Erzeugung zu Vergleichsbeispiel 1 besitzt. Beide Beispiele 2 und 3 erzeugen moderat mehr N2O als die Vergleichsbeispiele.
- Insgesamt zeigen diese Daten eine Rangfolge von Beispiel 1>> Beispiel 3 > Beispiel 2.

Zahlreiche Varianten bei den in der vorliegenden Erfindung bevorzugten Ausführungsformen, wie sie hierin veranschaulicht werden, sind für den Durchschnittsfachmann auf dem Gebiet offensichtlich und bleiben innerhalb des Umfangs der anhängigen Ansprüche und ihrer Entsprechungen.

Claims (18)
- Katalysatorzusammensetzung zur selektiven katalytischen Reduktion für die Umwandlung von Stickstoffoxiden (NOx) in einem Abgas unter Verwendung eines stickstoffhaltigen Reduktionsmittels, wobei die Katalysatorzusammensetzung eine Mischung aus einer ersten Komponente und einer zweiten Komponente umfasst, wobei die erste Komponente die H-Form eines Aluminosilikat-Chabasit-Zeolith (CHA) ist; oder eine Vermischung der H-Form eines Aluminosilikat-Mordenit-Zeolith (MOR) und der H-Form eines Aluminosilikat-Chabasit-Zeolith (CHA); und die zweite Komponente ein Vanadiumoxid ist, geträgert auf einem Metalloxidträger, bei dem es sich um Titandioxid, Silica-stabilisiertes Titandioxid oder eine Mischung von Titandioxid und Silica-stabilisiertem Titandioxid handelt, wobei das Gewichtsverhältnis der ersten Komponente zu der zweiten Komponente 10:90 bis 25:75 beträgt.
- Katalysatorzusammensetzung gemäß
Anspruch 1 , wobei das Gewichtsverhältnis der H-Form des Aluminosilikat-Mordenit-Zeolith (MOR) zu der H-Form eines Aluminosilikat-Chabasit-Zeolith (CHA) 5:3 bis 3:5, vorzugsweise 1:1 bis 3:5 beträgt. - Katalysatorzusammensetzung gemäß
Anspruch 1 oder2 , wobei das Gewichtsverhältnis der ersten Komponente zu der zweiten Komponente 15:85 bis 20:80 beträgt. - Katalysatorzusammensetzung gemäß
Anspruch 1 ,2 oder3 , umfassend eine oder mehrere Binderkomponenten, wobei das Gewichtsverhältnis des gemeinsamen Gewichts aus der ersten und zweiten Komponente zu dem gemeinsamen Gewicht aus der einen oder mehreren Binderkomponenten 80:20 bis 95:5, vorzugsweise 90:10 bis 85:15 beträgt. - Katalysatorzusammensetzung gemäß
Anspruch 4 , wobei es sich bei der einen oder mehreren Binderkomponenten um Ton, Aluminiumoxid und/oder Glasfasern handelt. - Katalysatorzusammensetzung gemäß einem beliebigen der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei der Metalloxidträger der zweiten Komponente Wolframoxid umfasst.
- Katalysatorzusammensetzung gemäß einem beliebigen der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei das Vanadiumoxid der zweiten Komponente Eisenvanadat umfasst.
- Katalysatorzusammensetzung gemäß einem beliebigen der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Mischung 0,5 bis 5,0 Gewichtsprozent Vanadium, berechnet als V2O5, vorzugsweise 1,0 bis 3,0 Gew.-%, bezogen auf das Gesamtgewicht der Katalysatorzusammensetzung als Ganzes, umfasst.
- Katalytischer Washcoat, umfassend eine Katalysatorzusammensetzung gemäß einem beliebigen der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, umfassend einen oder mehrere Füllstoffe, Bindemittel, Verarbeitungshilfsstoffe, Wasser und Dotiermittel.
- Katalysatorartikel, umfassend einen Substrat-Monolith, der mit einem katalytischen Washcoat gemäß
Anspruch 9 beschichtet ist, wobei das Substrat ein Metall-Durchfluss-Substrat, ein keramisches Durchfluss-Substrat, ein Wall-Flow-Filter, ein gesinterter Metallfilter oder ein Partialfilter ist. - Katalysatorartikel gemäß einem beliebigen der
Ansprüche 1 bis9 in der Form eines extrudierten Substrats, vorzugsweise eines Honigwaben-Monoliths. - Katalysatorartikel gemäß
Anspruch 10 oder11 , umfassend eine zweite Katalysatorzusammensetzung in der Form eines Washcoat für die selektive Reduktion von NOx unter Verwendung eines stickstoffhaltigen Reduktionsmittels und/oder zum Oxidieren von NH3, wobei es sich bei der zweiten Katalysatorzusammensetzung um Folgendes handelt: (a) eine Katalysatormischung gemäß einem beliebigen derAnsprüche 1 bis9 ; (b) ein Übergangsmetall-unterstütztes Molekülsieb; (c) ein auf einem Metalloxid geträgertes Metall der Platingruppe; oder (d) einen Katalysator, welcher auf Titandioxid geträgertes Vanadiumoxid umfasst. - Katalysatorartikel gemäß
Anspruch 12 , wobei das Substrat einen Ammoniak-Schlupfkatalysator (ASC) umfasst, umfassend eine erste Schicht von (c) zum Oxidieren von Ammoniak und eine zweite Schicht, umfassend den Katalysator gemäß einem beliebigen der vorhergehendenAnsprüche 1 bis8 , wobei die erste Schicht direkt auf dem Substrat vorliegt und die zweite Schicht die erste Schicht überlagert. - Abgassystem zum Behandeln von Abgas, umfassend einen stromaufwärts von einem Ammoniak-Schlupfkatalysator (ASC) angeordneten Katalysator zur selektiven katalytischen Reduktion (SCR), wobei wenigstens einer aus dem SCR- und dem ASC-Katalysator einen Katalysator gemäß einem beliebigen der
Ansprüche 1 bis9 umfasst. - Abgassystem gemäß
Anspruch 14 , umfassend einen Oxidationskatalysator, welcher ein Metall der Platingruppe, geträgert in einem auf einen Substrat-Monolith beschichteten Metalloxid und stromaufwärts von der SCR-Katalysatorzusammensetzung vorliegend, umfasst. - Kraftfahrzeugmotor mit interner Magerverbrennung, umfassend ein Abgassystem gemäß
Anspruch 14 oder15 . - Kraftfahrzeug, umfassend einen Motor gemäß
Anspruch 16 . - Verfahren zum Behandeln eines Abgases, umfassend gegebenenfalls ein Verhältnis von NO zu NO2 von etwa 4:1 bis etwa 1:3 auf Volumenbasis, wobei das Verfahren die folgenden Schritte umfasst: (i) Kontaktieren eines NOx and NH3 enthaltenden Abgasstroms mit einem Katalysator gemäß einem beliebigen der
Ansprüche 1 bis9 oder einem Katalysatorartikel gemäß einem beliebigen derAnsprüche 11 ,12 oder13 ; und (ii) Umwandeln wenigstens eines Teils des NOx zu N2 und/oder Umwandeln wenigstens eines Teils des NH3 zu wenigstens einem aus N2 und NO2.
