Description
The invention relates to a bubble nozzle for a device for producing mineral wool from a melt according to the nozzle blowing method, with two opposing inner surfaces of the nozzle, which delimit a nozzle passage between them, in which at least one primary thread from the melt is defibrated under the action of an injected gas stream; wherein over a total length of the nozzle passage from one end of the inlet area of the blow nozzle to an outlet end of the blow nozzle for the at least one primary thread of the melt, the nozzle passage for the injected gas flow has an acceleration area in which a cross section of the nozzle passage is reduced and a deceleration area in which the cross section of the nozzle passage increases.
In the prior art, a blowing nozzle with two opposing inner surfaces of the nozzle, which delimit a nozzle passage between them, is known, which, adjacent to the inlet end, has an acceleration range in which the cross section of the nozzle passage in the longitudinal direction of the nozzle passage is reduced, so that the through-hole injected propellant gas flow is accelerated as quickly as possible to a high flow rate, and adjacent to it a deceleration area in which the cross section of the nozzle passage increases again, so that the gas flow is slowed down. This design of a blow nozzle has not only proven itself for decades, but has also become the standard. Nevertheless, further improvements are possible here.
For example, it has been shown that eddies or cross-flows in the gas stream can cause the fibers to move towards one another or in the direction of the wall delimiting the nozzle passage. The result of this is that mutual contact of the threads that have not yet solidified or even wall contact lead to the formation of undistorted material parts, so-called beads, which reduce the product quality. Furthermore, due to regular wall contacts of the fiber materials, the blowing nozzle can become dirty, which impairs the performance and stability of the manufacturing process and even causes the blowing nozzle to overflow. The temperature load associated with the contact with the wall also leads to premature wear of the blowing nozzle, so that it must be replaced or repaired prematurely.
The present invention has for its object to provide a blowing nozzle for a device for the production of mineral wool by the nozzle blowing method, and an apparatus and a method with such a blowing nozzle, with which the product quality and process stability can be further improved.
To achieve this object, the blowing nozzle according to the invention is characterized in that a holding area is provided between the acceleration area and the deceleration area, in which the cross section of the nozzle passage is essentially constant.
The device according to the invention has a melting tank for producing a mineral melt; at least one distributor trough which is fed from the melting tank via a feed device and which has an elongated shape of a base body with a trough-shaped cross section, at least one outlet opening for primary threads from the bottom of the base body Melt is arranged; a blowing nozzle according to the invention arranged below the at least one outlet opening at a distance therefrom in the falling line of the primary threads; and a chute arranged below the blowing nozzle device and a collecting conveyor arranged at the lower end of the chute for storing and transporting the mineral wool produced as an endless mineral wool nonwoven web.
The inflow area of the blowing nozzle is limited by the inflow end (= “end of the inflow area”), which is formed by the level connecting the upper edges of the symmetrically arranged injection openings for the propellant air. The inflow is also the zero level for the simulation of the speed profile.
Experiments have shown that due to the holding area in which the cross section of the blowing nozzle is essentially constant, an advantageous flow behavior of the gas flow in the nozzle passage of the blowing nozzle can be achieved and the problems known in the prior art can thereby be largely avoided. Furthermore, the formation of fine fibers is favored by the holding area according to the invention.
According to a constructive embodiment of the invention, the distance between the two opposite inner surfaces of the nozzle does not change by more than 10%, preferably not more than 5% and more preferably not more than 3%, based on the minimum distance.
According to a constructive embodiment of the invention, the holding area extends over at least 15%, preferably over at least 20% and over a maximum of 50% of the total length of the nozzle passage.
According to a constructive embodiment of the invention, the holding area extends in a length section between the inlet end and the outlet end of the nozzle passage over at least three times, preferably four times and a maximum of eight times, the measure of the distance between the two opposite inner surfaces of the nozzle.
According to a constructive embodiment of the invention, a course of the two opposite inner surfaces of the nozzle is continuous, in particular along the length direction of the nozzle passage. This means that the inner surfaces of the blow nozzle that delimit the nozzle passage do not have any discontinuities, such as jumps or sharp edges, which could produce problematic eddies or cross currents.
According to a constructive embodiment of the invention, at the outlet end the angle between a straight line running in the direction from the inlet end to the outlet end and a tangent lying on an inner surface of the nozzle or two opposite inner surfaces of the nozzle is between 0 ° and 5 ° and in particular between 0 ° and 3 °. In this way, a directed gas-fiber dispersion flow is generated with minimal cross-flow, so that wall contacts of the fibers that have not yet cooled completely are reduced with a diffuser and / or guide shaft downstream of the blowing nozzle. This reduces the formation of pearls.
According to a constructive embodiment of the invention, the blowing nozzle is a slot nozzle.
According to a constructive embodiment of the invention, the total length of the nozzle passage from the inlet end to the outlet end is between 80 mm and 100 mm and in particular between 90 mm and 95 mm.
According to a constructive embodiment of the invention, the holding area is between 10 mm and 30 mm and in particular between 18 mm and 22 mm long.
According to a constructive embodiment of the invention, the holding area begins in the longitudinal direction of the nozzle passage between 7 ° and 12 mm, preferably 10 mm, from the inlet end.
According to a constructive embodiment of the invention, the deceleration range is between 50 mm and 70 mm and in particular between 60 mm and 65 mm long.
According to a constructive embodiment of the invention, the acceleration range is at least 9 mm and a maximum of 12 mm long.
According to a constructive embodiment of the invention, a function that describes the distance between the two opposing inner surfaces of the nozzle has an inflection point that is more than 40 mm, in particular more than 50 mm, away from the inlet end.
According to a constructive embodiment of the invention, the two opposite inner surfaces of the nozzle have a minimum distance and a maximum distance between them, and the ratio of maximum distance to minimum distance is greater than 2.2 and in particular greater than 2.5. It is thereby achieved that the gas-fiber dispersion flow at the outlet end of the blower nozzle is expanded more than in the prior art, so that the fibers are spaced further apart and their contact probability is minimized. There is also a greater delay in the gas-fiber dispersion flow. This is advantageous because, due to the holding area according to the invention, the current is at a high speed for a longer period of time and should therefore be braked more quickly so that a pressure which is adapted to the static ambient pressure is present at the end of the blowing nozzle. The holding area should be at least 10 mm long.
According to a constructive embodiment of the invention, a minimum distance between the two opposite inner surfaces of the nozzle is at least 10 mm from the inlet end. With regard to increased process stability, tests have shown that, unlike in the prior art, it surprisingly proves to be advantageous to accelerate the gas flows somewhat more slowly to maximum speed. This can be achieved with the above feature.
A material from which the blow nozzle and in particular the side walls of the blow nozzle are made can have a thermal conductivity of greater than 25 W / (m · K). This ensures that heat is transported away sufficiently quickly, so that a temperature load on the wall regions of the blowing nozzle associated with possible wall contacts of the fiber components can be reduced. Sufficiently rapid heat removal significantly reduces the adherence or sticking of fiber components to the side walls, which is accompanied by a rapid overflow of the blow nozzles and leads to failure of the blow nozzle. This measure increases process stability.

In the sense of this disclosure, a continuous or a smooth course of a surface means that the surface is not step-shaped, that is to say has no jump points. The course is therefore continuously differentiable. Furthermore, the direction of flow corresponds to the length direction of the nozzle passage, ie the direction seen from the inlet end to the outlet end. The nozzle passage can be, for example, a nozzle gap or nozzle slot. A change in distance between two opposite inner surfaces of the blowing nozzle causes a change in the cross section of the nozzle passage.

From the theory of stationary compressible flows, the speed of sound a is calculated according to the formula and the definition of the Mach number

- • The nozzle exit area f 1.0 is calculated
- • The propellant gas mass flow ṁ 1 follows from ṁ 1 = 2 · u 1.0 · ρ 1.0 · f 1.0 · b
- • The “remaining” cross section for the fuel gas ambient air flow results from f 2.0 = f a -f 1.0
- • The velocity of the combustion gas ambient air flow u 2.0 is calculated
- • Because of the symmetry used in the further calculation, the mass flows of the driven jet are taken into account with the factor ½.
