Description
The invention relates to a form-sewn textile part according to the preamble of
Such textile parts typically consist of fibers, yarns, fabrics, knits or fabrics with a functional added value.
As a rule, these textile parts are used for heat insulation / thermoregulation, which always requires good wearing comfort.
Because of this functional added value, these textile products are also referred to as functional textiles. Functional textiles are often subject to further functional requirements such as breathability, easy care and durability.
A key factor in comfort is the weight of the textile part.
Down has long been used as a filling material for thermal insulation in textile products. Alternative filling materials are synthetic nonwovens, synthetic composite fibers or natural composite fibers with a synthetic binding material. The usually chambered filling material creates an insulating layer with a high level of air entrapment, which is warmed up by the body heat of the user. This effect is also known as thermal reflection.
Due to the small size of the fibers or the loose down, the filling materials tend to penetrate the upper / inner fabric of the textile part. This allows filler material to escape to the outside, which can lead to undesired migration and fiber loss. This migration is visually disruptive, particularly for the outer fabric. A higher level of migration can also reduce the insulation effect. For this reason, the outer fabric or inner fabric should be impermeable to the down or the fibers. This prevents the filling material from escaping from the insulation layer.
The air permeability is determined in accordance with the European standard DIN EN ISO 9237 "Determination of the air permeability of textile fabrics". There is also a corresponding test standard DIN EN 12132-1 for down tightness. A low air permeability always means a high barrier effect for the filling material.
In order to reduce the filler permeability of textile fabrics, there are various options, such as. B. calendering, the cross-section of the textile fibers is changed by pressure during the final treatment of the fabric (mechanical pressure and thermal action)
Another possibility is to coat the fabric (additive process). Another method is film lamination of the textile fabric.
The measures listed by these measures improve the permeability of the filler due to the reduced air permeability, but only at the expense of breathability. However, this is not desired by the user, since it is associated with a high degree of discomfort. The higher the heat retention capacity or the heat absorption capacity of an insulating layer, the lower the breathability.
The object of the invention is to provide a molded textile part which does not have the disadvantages mentioned above, which in particular has a high level of user comfort and a high degree of filler tightness and which nevertheless has comfortable breathability and sufficient air permeability.
The invention is explained in more detail below on the basis of an exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing.

With the invention it is possible for the first time to provide a molded textile part with a high heat retention paired with a high elasticity / freedom of movement and high breathability. The fleece also has water-repellent properties, which is possible without additional equipment.
By eliminating textile protective layers, weight can be saved compared to conventional molded textile parts. Energy consumption in series production can also be significantly reduced.
The fleece is produced in a melt-blowing process (TPU hot melt). Melt blowing is a manufacturing process for microfibers and nanofibers based on TPU, in which a polymer melt is extruded through small nozzles surrounded by a blowing gas. Thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU-based hot melt adhesives) enable the production of nonwoven materials with specified properties.
Especially in combination with an elastic upper material, the performance of the elastic non-woven material can be exploited well.
