Description
The invention relates to a fluid jet cutting device with a cutting head, which has a replaceable cutting nozzle, from which a cutting jet of the fluid jet cutting device is discharged into the environment.
The invention is therefore based on the object to make a fluid jet cutting device suitable for use in industrial series production.
- a) the fluid jet cutting device has a cutting nozzle exchange mechanism, by means of which the cutting nozzle can be removed from the cutting head and another cutting nozzle can be attached to the cutting head without manual intervention,
- b) the fluid jet cutting device has at least one sensor, through which a feature characterizing a wear feature of the cutting nozzle or other parts of the cutting jet leading edge of the fluid jet cutting device can be detected.
The cutting nozzles used in fluid jet cutting are subject to wear, so they must be replaced in good time for this reason. If the replacement of the cutting nozzle is too late, the cutting accuracy becomes unsatisfactory and rejects are produced. Another reason for the change of the cutting nozzle may be that different fluid jet cutting methods are to be used, for. B. once the pure water cutting (pure water cutting without abrasive) and on the other hand, the water jet cutting with the water added abrasive. Previously, it was necessary to manually remove the previously used cutting nozzle by first turning off the union nut and then removing the cutting nozzle. Then, a new cutting nozzle can be used and the union nut with great sensitivity again screwed onto the thread provided for this purpose. Here, in particular for the correct placement of the union nut for running into the first thread tact and accordingly experience is needed. The whole process is relatively tedious. It was previously assumed that this process can not be mechanized or automated. The present invention shows that a change of the cutting nozzle and manual intervention is possible by the cutting nozzle change mechanism according to the invention. It is even a fully automatic change of the cutting nozzle possible. So z. B. be changed within the cutting process between injective and suspensive cutting.
Since the pumps used in fluid jet cutting technology are automatically controllable, the cutting pressures required by the cutting nozzle used can also be adjusted automatically.
To recognize the wear of a cutting nozzle was also required according to the prior art an operator with great experience. Due to the corresponding experience, the operator z. B. recognize evidence of such wear based on the shape of the cutting beam or the sectional image of the machined object. In addition, the wear could be detected by quality control of the components processed by the cutting jet, but this is a relatively late detection, which regularly leads to unnecessary waste in the production. According to the invention, it is proposed to use a sensor by which a feature characterizing a wear feature of the cutting nozzle or other parts of the cutting jet leading to the fluid jet cutting device can be detected. In this way, by evaluating the signal of the sensor, a wear information signal can be generated which characterizes this wear feature numerically or in another way. This in turn allows progressive wear to be detected early and displayed to operators, e.g. B. by optical and / or acoustic signals. It is also possible to initiate an automatic change of the cutting nozzle by means of the cutting nozzle change mechanism due to the wear information signal.
In this way, the fluid jet cutting device can be used more reliably and with increased operating times, eg. B. in the automated Production operation even on days or at times when no operator is present. In principle, the fluid jet cutting device according to the invention is thus suitable for operation around the clock.
As far as manipulations by operators are required, these are simplified and do not require the previous level of experience.
By the sensor thus a corresponding wear on the cutting nozzle or other parts can be detected, for. B., a defective Fokussierrohr the fluid jet cutting device can be detected.
The cutting nozzle change mechanism does not necessarily have to be fully automated, but can also be partially automated, eg. B. by removing the cutting nozzle from the cutting head without manual intervention and another cutting nozzle is attached to the cutting head, but this change process is initiated by an operator, for. B. by the operator actuates a start button for starting the replacement operation of the cutting nozzle.
Depending on the application, the fluid jet cutting device can be operated with a cutting fluid suitable for this purpose, which forms the cutting jet. Suitable cutting fluids are liquids of all kinds, e.g. Water, oil or liquid carbon dioxide. The water may e.g. a substance dissolved therein, e.g. a salt such as NaCl. The oil may e.g. be a vegetable oil. When water is used as the cutting fluid, the fluid jet cutting device is a water jet cutting device.
According to an advantageous development of the invention it is provided that the cutting nozzle changing mechanism is set up for automatic replacement of the cutting nozzle. In this way, no intervention by operators are required in the entire replacement process of the cutting nozzle.
According to an advantageous development of the invention, it is provided that the cutting nozzle changing mechanism is arranged to carry out an automatic replacement operation of the cutting nozzle in response to a wear information signal characterizing at least one wear feature of the cutting nozzle or other parts of the fluid jet cutting device guiding the cutting beam. In this way, it is ensured by the automatic operations that no cutting nozzles are used with excessive wear and, accordingly, in the machined components no waste due to the wear of the cutting nozzle is generated.
According to an advantageous development of the invention, it is provided that the fluid jet cutting device has an evaluation device which generates a wear information signal which characterizes at least one wear feature of the cutting nozzle or other parts of the fluid jet cutting device guiding the cutting beam, based on the signal from the sensor and for outputting the sensor Wear information signal is set up. The evaluation can z. Example, be a computer-controlled evaluation, which evaluates the signal of the sensor using a computer program and determines the wear information signal. The wear information signal may, for. B. be determined by spectral analysis of the signal of the sensor and detection of certain frequency components or frequency domain components in the signal spectrum. The wear information signal may be used to initiate an automatic replacement operation of the cutting nozzle as previously explained.
When removing the cutting nozzle from the cutting head and attaching another cutting nozzle on the cutting head without manual intervention, the handling of the cutting nozzles involved z. Example, be performed by means of an industrial robot, which engages the cutting nozzle to be removed and feeds a reject container and then engages another cutting nozzle and leads to the cutting head.
According to an advantageous development of the invention, it is provided that the fluid jet cutting device has a cutting nozzle supply device to which a plurality of cutting nozzles are attached, wherein the cutting nozzle exchange mechanism adapted to remove the cutting nozzle from the cutting head without manual intervention and another cutting nozzle of the cutting nozzle storage device to attach to the cutting head. In this way, a certain amount of cutting nozzles can be kept ready, which allows a change of the cutting nozzle in a particularly simple manner, in particular without the aforementioned industrial robot. The cutting nozzle changing device may, for. B. be formed in the manner of a revolver drum, are attached to the plurality of cutting nozzles. The cutting nozzle supply means may also comprise a plurality of cutting nozzles arranged one behind the other in a row, d. H. a kind of linear arrangement of the cutting nozzles of the cutting nozzle storage device.
According to an advantageous development of the invention it is provided that the cutting nozzle is attached to a cutting nozzle adapter, via which the cutting nozzle can be fastened to the cutting head. This has the advantage that the interface between the cutting head and the cutting nozzle adapter can be normalized, so that by application different cutting nozzle adapters, which are adapted to respective different cutting nozzles, different types of cutting nozzles can be used on the same cutting head, z. B. Cutting nozzles for injective and for suspensive cutting. In addition, the connection to the cutting nozzle change mechanism can be simplified by the cutting nozzle adapter, as will be explained below. The cutting nozzle or the cutting nozzle adapter can, for. B. be connected to a collimating tube of the cutting head.
V2A (Werkstoffkennzahl 1.4301) oder V4A (Werkstoffkennzahl 1.4401).The connection point between the cutting nozzle adapter and the collimation tube of the cutting head can, for. B. have a first cone on the cutting nozzle adapter and a second cone formed as a counterpart on the Kollimationsrohr. The first and the second cone can in particular have different opening angles, z. 70 degrees and 80 degrees. In this way, it comes between the first and the second cone to an annular contact when the parts are screwed together. In this way, a particularly reliable seal is also realized in the high pressures occurring during fluid jet cutting. The first and the second cone can have different material hardnesses at least in the area of their contact points. Here, the first cone may have a greater material hardness than the second cone. Suitable materials for the first and the second cone are steels, in particular stainless steels such. V2A (material code 1.4301) or V4A (material code 1.4401).
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention it is provided that cutting nozzle adapter is screwed or screwed via a first thread with a holding device of the cutting nozzle exchange mechanism, and the holding device has a second thread, which is used to produce a linear movement of the holding device relative to the cutting nozzle adapter when replacing the cutting nozzle is set up. By the second thread, the holding device, which is to be screwed to the cutting nozzle adapter by means of the first thread, can be moved with little effort relative to the cutting nozzle adapter. The movement can take place so far that the first thread of the cutting nozzle adapter comes into engagement with a matching first thread of the holding device, so that the cutting nozzle adapter can be screwed to the holding device automatically or the screw can be loosened automatically by rotating the holding device relative to the cutting nozzle adapter. when the direction of rotation is changed. The holding device can be coupled via the second thread, for example with the cutting head by the cutting head has a second thread of the holding device matching second thread. Accordingly, by rotating the holding device relative to the cutting head, the holding device can also be moved linearly with respect to the cutting head.
For this purpose, a drive sleeve may be arranged around the holding device, which is positively connected to the holding device, for. B. a square profile or other polygonal profile.
According to an advantageous development of the invention, it is provided that the first thread has a greater pitch than the second thread. This allows a reliable screwing of the cutting nozzle adapter with the holding device without jamming and jamming. The ratio of the pitch of the first thread to the pitch of the second thread may, for. B. 1.5 to 1.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention it is provided that the cutting nozzle adapter is supported sprung. As a result, the cutting nozzle adapter has one or possibly several degrees of freedom of movement relative to the holding device. In particular, the cutting nozzle adapter can give way to the linear movement of the holding device until the threads of the first thread of the cutting nozzle adapter and the holding device intermesh. For this purpose, the cutting nozzle adapter may be sprung against the holding device or another part of the fluid jet cutting device, e.g. by one or more Tellfedern or coil springs.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention it is provided that the cutting nozzle adapter is statically underdetermined stored on the fluid jet cutting device. In this way, the cutting nozzle adapter is mounted relatively "loose", z. B. doubly statically underdetermined. This makes it possible that during the screwing process, even without manual intervention, the first thread of the screw connection between the cutting nozzle adapter and the holding device is reliably found without jamming and jamming.
According to an advantageous development of the invention, it is provided that the cutting nozzle exchange mechanism has at least one worm drive for generating a rotational movement of the holding device for carrying out a replacement operation of the cutting nozzle. Such a worm drive is an easy-to-implement drive mechanism for generating a rotational movement of the holding device, through which the linear movement of the holding device is generated via the second thread. The use of the worm drive has the advantage that a precise controllable movement, which is also self-locking, and a high torque can be generated in both directions. The worm drive can z. B. act on the drive sleeve of the holding device to enable this drive sleeve in a rotary motion.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention it is provided that the sensor is designed as a sound sensor, other noise sensor, vibration sensor, acceleration sensor and / or temperature-sensitive sensor. This has the advantage that the sensor can reliably detect the state of wear of the cutting nozzle or other parts of the fluid jet cutting device that characterize the cutting beam, for example, in terms of size. B. by the sensor is designed as a structure-borne sound sensor. In this case, the structure-borne noise can be detected and used as an indicator of the state of wear. In addition, by means of a sensor designed in this way, the size characterizing the state of wear can also be utilized for cutting under fluid when the fluid jet cutting device is used. Even then the sensor capture the said size.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention it is provided that the sensor is arranged in mechanical contact with the cutting nozzle or other parts of the cutting head. This allows a particularly reliable detection of the wear feature.
