Abstract
The present invention seeks to provide a fully operational two-phase reluctance machine. According to the invention, a force is generated there with two coils energized at the same time by targeted use of the mutual inductance, where sufficient force would not be possible solely due to the self-inductance. The invention can be used for electromagnetic transducers, in particular for two-phase reluctance machines.
Description
The present invention relates to a two-phase reluctance machine with extended functionality.
Reluctance machines convert magnetic energy into mechanical or electrical energy and vice versa. They consist of a movable rotor (rotor), which can change the position relative to the immovable stator. The magnetic energy is stored as an intermediate in the reluctance. The reluctance periodically changes with position to achieve a large positioning range, describable by reluctance characteristics. The shape of these reluctance curves is significantly achieved by gears on rotor and stator. In synchronous reluctance machines, the insertion of slots in the untoothed rotor is used to produce magnetic anisotropy.
The reluctance forces arise from the change of the reluctance with the associated movement and the momentary electromagnetic state variables, mostly the electric current. A phase in electrical machines is a terminal of the power electronics. This applies the voltage to a string. A string can consist of one or more permanently connected coils, which are controlled simultaneously. The inductance of a phase follows from the reluctances involved (magnetic) and the number of turns of the connected coils (electric), and is used to simplify the description of the electromagnetic interaction. It is common in the literature to indicate for each energized phase a force characteristic as a scalar function of the position, as an integral variable of the effect of a complex magnetic field. The shape of the force characteristics essentially follows the differentiated form of the inductance characteristic, while the amplitude depends on the current strength. A force curve has a vanishing average, so there are always areas with positive and areas with negative force.
In the case of a single force characteristic curve (eg single-phase motor), an average force is produced by a targeted selection of the electric current if the current intensity is greater in position ranges with the desired force direction than in position ranges with undesired force direction. Due to the mechanical inertia position areas can then be overcome with undesirable force direction. At the zero crossings of the force curve, the motor can not start itself. In other positions, self-starting is only possible in one direction. The force ripple is very high (0 to maximum) with only one force characteristic, whereby the application areas are limited. Also suffers the controllability.
Only with three force characteristics shifted along the position is sufficient overlap possible with which a sufficiently high force can be generated at each position in both directions. A self-start is possible in both directions and the force ripple is satisfactory. It is also known to use more than three force characteristics to further reduce the force ripple. An increase in the number of force curves but also increases the complexity of the reluctance machine, and thus especially the cost, especially the power electronics.
By infinite many possible combinations of continuously selectable phase currents arise infinitely many possible force characteristics. Elementary force characteristics are defined here as those which result from the combination of a maximum of two phase currents (all other zeros) with only discrete values (-1, 0, +1). All other force curves can be represented with ideal material as a linear combination with only positive coefficients from the elementary force curves.
In the switched reluctance machine (SRM), the phases are decoupled. Here, mutual inductances are neglected, and the force calculated only from the self-inductance. Thus, there is only one elementary force characteristic per phase.
On the basis of the SRM, inductively coupled reluctance machines (mutually coupled SRM, MCSRM) were developed, whereby the motor geometry, and thus the magnetic circuit, were adopted. However, the current directions of the coils of each phase are directed opposite, which significantly changes the shape of the magnetic field [1]. A special distributed coil winding (fully-pitched MCSRM) changes the electrical excitation in such a way that the elementary force curves no longer follow from self-inductances, but only from mutual inductances [2]. However, three phases are still provided for three elementary force characteristics.
Flux switching motor [3] is a two-phase distributed coil winding design in which one phase is DC powered. The power electronics are simplified a bit. However, no MCSRM is known which operates fully operational with only two phases. It has even been proposed to divide the coil strands into even more phases [4]. Fully operational means here that the machine can generate a significant force in both directions at any position, ie without self-starting problems and with satisfying force ripple.
Viele Publikationen geben je Phase genau eine elementare Kraftkennlinie an.So far, an equal number of phases has been used to control the force characteristics of a reluctance machine. This z. B. According to current doctrine reluctance motors at least three phases to be fully operational. However, the issue of whether three phases are necessary is often not mentioned in research. Many publications give each phase exactly one elementary force characteristic.
According to the research, motors have additional, often unmentioned, symmetries in the magnetic circuit that limit their possibilities. Thus, self-inductances and mutual inductances are usually only partially used, or are dependent on each other. The potential of independently selected self and mutual inductances has so far been lost.
The object of the present invention is therefore to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art and to provide a fully operational two-phase reluctance machine.
According to the invention, the solution of this problem succeeds with the features of the first patent claim. Advantageous embodiments of the solution according to the invention are specified in the subclaims.
Es zeigt:Further details and advantages of the invention are explained in more detail below with reference to drawings. It shows:
With the present invention, it is proposed to generate more elementary force characteristics than phases by targeted use of the mutual inductances. A reluctance machine with such a magnetic circuit can generate up to four elementary force characteristics with only two phases, and is thus fully functional or operational. Thus, one electric phase is less needed, and so less electronics and copper, which in turn leads to a reduction in costs.
Zu den beiden Ersatzschaltbildern des Magnetkreises lassen sich für den magnetischen Fluss folgende Gleichungen formulieren: Dreieck-Schaltung: Stern-Schaltung: For the theoretical proof of function a simplified model is used. In the process, the leakage flux in the air is neglected and the iron is assumed to be infinitely permeable (no saturation). For the two equivalent circuit diagrams of the magnetic circuit, the following equations can be formulated for the magnetic flux: Triangle circuit: Star connection:
Here, R m denotes the respective reluctances and G m the respective permeances.
Here, M 12 is the mutual inductance and N is the number of turns of the respective strand.
