Description
The present invention relates to a potting compound, a use of the potting compound, a thermally cured composite obtainable from the potting compound and an electrical machine with the potting compound.
Electrical machines that convert electricity into mechanical energy to produce rotating and / or translational motion ("electromechanical transducer") typically consist of a fixed stator and a rotating rotor. The stator is often traversed with grooves in which mutually insulated, specially interconnected, metallic conductors (usually copper conductors) in the form of stacked turns (so-called. Form coils) are introduced, which penetrates by energizing a circulating in the circle, the centrally mounted rotor Induce magnetic field.
By repulsive forces of the rotor magnetic field from the stator magnetic field rotational energy is generated, which can be used to drive. Since the stator, which is usually constructed of specially stamped and stacked electrical steel sheets, is at ground potential, but the conductors in the slots are actively driven with potentials down to the kilovolt range, insulation must be formed between the stacked copper coils and the so-called laminated core on the one hand is resistant to electrical breakdowns, on the other hand, but also withstand mechanical stresses.
For railway machines, a life expectancy of up to 30 years is envisaged and, accordingly, the insulation must withstand partial electrical discharge stresses as well as thermo-mechanical stresses to counteract the formation of cracks and erosion channels of electrical and / or mechanical origin which would cause short circuits and render the machine unusable.
In order to realize a partially discharge-resistant and mechanically stressable insulation around the stacked conductors of the form coils, one often uses a wrapping of the later inserted in the grooves conductor bundle part with partially discharge-resistant mica tapes. For this purpose, the drawn from the so-called coil fish form coil is wound manually or automatically or semi-automatically in defined overlap with mica paper on train and fixed. These so prepared coils are manually fitted into the grooves, fixed, electrically connected by soldering and the whole stator in a so-called. Global VPI process impregnated with a highly thermally resistant impregnating resin (usually on polyester and / or silicone-based) as possible without defects then cured with heat, creating a mica tape resin composite as the main insulation.
The wrapping of the conductor stack as well as the subsequent impregnation with impregnating resin and the long, thermal curing phase at high temperatures to form the mica tape conductor composites is a tedious, sometimes error-prone and expensive process.
The avoidance of this disadvantage of the prior art has long been and still the goal of extensive research and development projects, which have already produced some technical solutions.

It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a potting compound for Statorvollvergüsse available as a prepolymer vunkerfrei and low viscosity pourable and in the cured state, a comparable and / or higher thermal continuous use temperature than the prior art, it is partially discharge resistant over long periods and has an excellent thermal and fracture mechanical property portfolio.
These objects are achieved by the potting compound according to claim 1, the use of the potting compound according to
According to the invention, a potting compound with a resin component is proposed, wherein the resin component is a mixture of at least one bisphenol diglycidyl ether and at least one constitutional isomers of diphenylmethane diisocyanate, wherein the proportion of bisphenol diglycidyl ether on the resin component is 7 wt .-% to 30 wt .-%, preferably 9 wt .-% to 27 wt .-%, and contains a catalyst component.
The potting compound is characterized in that it includes a filler component, wherein the proportion of the filler component in the total weight of the potting compound is 50 wt .-% to 95 wt .-%, preferably 60 wt .-% to 90 wt .-%, and the filler component at least one first filler fraction, wherein the at least one first filler fraction is native and / or epoxy-functional, amorphous fused silica having a mean particle diameter value in the range of 10 nm to 1000 microns.
Hardened composites can be produced with the potting compound according to the invention, which have a very low thermal expansion with LCTE values (LCTE = linear coefficient of thermal expansion) of 30 ppm / ° C. or less due to the relatively high proportion of amorphous fused silica. The dynamic processing viscosities of the prepolymeric potting compound at 80 ° C advantageously below about 1000 cp and 1 Pa · s. Moldings produced from the potting compound according to the invention have extremely good partial discharge resistance, high volume resistivities, low water absorption capacity, high rigidity, acceptable fracture mechanics and thermophysical properties as well as excellent hydrolysis properties.
According to a first advantageous development of the invention, the potting compound contains, as bisphenol diglycidyl ether, bisphenol A diglycidyl ether, bisphenol F diglycidyl ether or a mixture thereof.
In order to be able to cast even thin gaps without error, it is necessary that the potting compound falls below a certain level of viscosity. Advantageously, therefore, a finished casting compound should have a dynamic viscosity in the range of 1000 mPa · s ("milliPascal seconds") or lower at about 80 ° C. Such a viscosity range can be achieved in a particularly advantageous manner by using bisphenol F diglycidyl ether or a mixture of bisphenol F diglycidyl ether with bisphenol A diglycidyl ether.
According to a second advantageous development of the invention, the average particle diameter of the first filler fraction has a value in the range from 1 .mu.m to 1000 .mu.m.
According to a third advantageous development of the invention, the filler component of the potting compound has at least a second filler fraction, wherein the second filler fraction is selected from at least one member of the group consisting of native amorphous fused silica, epoxy-functional amorphous fused silica, quartz powder, alumina, dolomite, chalk, glass beads, Boron nitride, wollastonite, zeolite and polysiloxane having a value for the average particle diameter from the range of 10 nm to 1000 microns, wherein the average particle diameter of the second filler fraction by at least a factor of 2.5 is smaller than the average particle diameter of the first Füllstofffraktion.
In the event that the average particle diameter of the second filler fraction has a value in the range of 1 .mu.m to 1000 .mu.m, it is according to a fourth advantageous embodiment of the invention by a factor of 2.5 to 15 smaller than the mean particle diameter of the first Füllstofffraktion.
By combining two filler fractions with different particle diameters, i. the use of a bimodal (two-component) filler mixture, such that a filler fraction of smaller diameter fills the "cavities" (gusset) of a filler fraction larger in particle diameter, the viscosity of the casting compound can be reduced compared to a monomodal (one-component) filler mixture, since the otherwise in gusseted prepolymeric resin of the dispersion is available and thus decreases their toughness. As a result, values for the dynamic viscosity of well below 1000 mPa.s can be achieved, as a result of which a higher total filler content in the potting compound according to the invention is also possible. The higher the total filler content, the smaller the LCTE values of the molded bodies produced from the potting compound, which is very desirable in the context of the present invention.
According to a fifth advantageous development of the invention, in the filler component of the casting compound, the first and the second filler fraction in a range from 80% by volume to 20% by volume up to 60% by volume to 40% by volume, wherein the first filler fraction is contained in the filler component with the higher percent by volume specified. By a filler particle diameter optimization in the above range, a particularly strong reduction in the viscosity of the potting compound can be achieved.
According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the filler component of the potting compound at least a third Füllstofffraktion wherein the third filler fraction is selected from at least one member of the group consisting of native amorphous fused silica, epoxy-functional amorphous fused silica, alumina, zeolite and polysiloxane having a value for the middle Particle diameter from the range of 10 nm to 1000 .mu.m, wherein the average particle diameter of the third Füllstofffraktion by at least a factor of 2.5 is smaller than the average particle diameter of the second Füllstofffraktion.
When the term "at least a factor of 2.5 smaller" is used in the present application, it is meant that the factor is within the permissible value ranges for the mean particle diameter of any value, i. 2.5 or larger.
If the average particle diameter of the third filler fraction has a value in the range from 1 μm to 1000 μm, the average particle diameter of the third filler fraction is smaller by a factor of 2.5 to 15 than that of the mean particle diameter of the invention second filler fraction.
With a trimodal filler mixture, a packing coefficient-optimized filler fraction with a packing coefficient of up to more than 75% can be achieved in a particularly advantageous manner. The higher the degree of filling of the potting compound, the stiffer and more resistant to fracture becomes the composite produced from it.
In the potting compound may be used as a catalyst component, a sensitive and / or latent-acting accelerator having a content of 0.5 wt .-% to 15 wt .-%, preferably 3 wt .-% to 10 wt .-%, by weight be added to the filler-free resin component.
The present invention also encompasses the use of the potting compound according to the invention for potting a stator coil and / or a winding head for an electrical machine.
Further, the present invention comprises a thermally cured composite obtainable from a potting compound according to the invention by polymerizing the resin component contained in the potting compound.
Also included in the present invention is an electrical machine having a thermally cured composite according to claim 11 in the region of its stator coil and / or its winding head.
The present invention will be explained in more detail with reference to further complementary embodiments and by way of an example example.
As mentioned above, the present invention includes, among others, a potting compound comprising a resin component comprising a mixture of at least one bisphenol diglycidyl ether and at least one constitutional isomer of diphenylmethane diisocyanate, wherein the proportion of bisphenol diglycidyl ether on the resin component is from 7% to 30 wt%, preferably 9 wt% to 27 wt%, and includes a catalyst component.
Various bisphenol diglycidyl ethers are known. These diglycidyl ethers are - as can already be seen from the name - derived from a bisphenol having the general formula HO-C 6 H 5 -R 2 CC 6 H 5 -OH, where different radicals R may be present. In the case of bisphenol A diglycidyl ether, R is in each case a -CH 3 group, in the case of bisphenol F diglycidyl ether R is in each case an -H radical. Instead of the terminal hydrogen atoms of the -OH groups of bisphenol, the bisphenol diglycidyl ethers each contain an oxirane group (epoxide).
In principle, all bisphenol-diglycidyl ether derivatives can be used according to the invention, but preferably bisphenol A diglycidyl ether, bisphenol F diglycidyl ether or a mixture thereof.
When bisphenol F diglycidyl ether or a mixture of bisphenol A diglycidyl ether and bisphenol F diglycidyl ether is used instead of bisphenol A diglycidyl ether, this has the advantage that the mixture is significantly less viscous than with bisphenol A diglycidyl ether alone , In order to cast even thin gaps without error, should - as already mentioned above - a finished mixture at about 80 ° C have a dynamic viscosity in the range of 1000 mPa · s ("MilliPascalSekunden") or lower. This is easier with the above-mentioned use of bisphenol F diglycidyl ether or a mixture of bisphenol A diglycidyl ether and bisphenol F diglycidyl ether, than with bisphenol A diglycidyl ether alone.
Diphenylmethane diisocyanates (MDI) are chemical compounds from the group of aromatic isocyanates. Normally, diphenylmethane diisocyanates are a mixture of several constitutional isomers, which differ in the position of the isocyanate groups. Technical diphenylmethane diisocyanate (also referred to as PMDI or Polymeric MDI) is a mixture of 30 to 80% MDI and homologues with 3, 4 or more phenyl groups of decreasing concentration with increasing chain length. PMDI can also be used in the resin component of the potting compound according to the invention.
For the casting compound according to the invention, in particular the epoxide to isocyanate ratio is of importance in order to obtain stable composites. According to the present invention, the unfilled resin component contains a content of bisphenol diglycidyl ether on the unfilled resin component in the range of 7 wt% to 30 wt%, preferably 9 wt% to 27 wt%.
In the filler-free resin component, the isocyanate (group) content (NCO content) is advantageously in the range from 15% by weight to 30% by weight, preferably from 19% by weight to 27% by weight (determined according to 2011). 0506601-95D).
As the catalyst component, any suitable compound or mixture of compounds may be used. However, preference is given to using aminic accelerators (for example those based on tertiary amines) for immediate gelation or special (complex) latent catalysts. Here, the gelation at temperatures between 60 ° C and 120 ° C (eg at 60 ° C, 65 ° C, 70 ° C, 75 ° C, 80 ° C, 85 ° C, 90 ° C, 95 ° C, 100 ° C, 105 ° C, 110 ° C, 115 ° C, 201 ° C).
The catalyst component may preferably be incorporated at a level of from 0.5% to 15%, preferably from 3% to 10% by weight, based on the weight of the filler-free resin component. The filler-free resin component is thus preferably from 7 wt .-% to 30 wt .-%, preferably 9 wt .-% to 27 wt .-% bisphenol-diglycidyl ether, 0.5 wt .-% to 15 wt .-%, preferably 3 wt .-% to 10 wt .-% of catalyst component, and 55 wt .-% to 92.5 wt .-% of at least one constitutional isomers of diphenylmethane diisocyanate together. In this case, the proportions of the individual components of the filler-free resin component are each chosen so that 100 wt .-% result.
Further, the potting compound according to the invention comprises at least one first filler component, wherein the proportion of the filler component in the total weight of the potting compound 50 wt .-% to 95 wt .-%, preferably 60 wt .-% to 90 wt .-% is. The filler component includes at least one filler fraction, wherein the at least one first filler fraction is native and / or epoxy-functional, amorphous fused silica having a mean particle diameter value in the range of 10 nm to 1000 μm.
The first filler fraction thus has an average particle diameter selected from a value comprised in the range of 10 nm to 100 μm. The lower limit of the stated range may also be 20 nm, 30 nm, 40 nm, 50 nm, 60 nm, 70 nm, 80 nm, 90 nm, 100 nm, 150 nm, 200 nm, 300 nm, 400 nm, 500 nm, 600 nm, 700 nm, 800 nm, 900 nm or 1000 nm. The upper limit of the specified range may also be 900 μm, 800 μm, 700 μm, 600 μm, 500 μm, 400 μm, 300 μm, 200 μm or 100 μm. The ranges encompassed by the present invention can be formed by a combination of any of the lower and any of the upper limits given.
As the first filler fraction, epoxy-functionalized amorphous silica is preferred. Such a filler is prepared by saturating the oxidic surface of the filler particles with an epoxysilane coupling reagent. The surface of the filler reacts covalently with the Silanteil of the coupling reagent. As a rule, this results in a free oxirane unit per coupling molecule pointing away from the surface of the filler particles. These oxirane units can then react with the (P) MDI. This results in a good bond to the resin and it improves compared to the use of non-coated filler particles, the breaking strength of the finished composite significantly. Also, the filler particles disperse significantly better into the resin.
In order to realize particularly low linear thermal expansion (LCTE) in the cured composite state, one or more fillers must be added to the prepolymeric blend, ideally enough to achieve thermal expansions approaching the part to be infiltrated ,
When casting a laminated core of an electromechanical transducer would thus be an LCTE, which corresponds to that of steel, ie about 12 ppm / ° C, ideal. Since the filler-free polymer usually has an LCTE of 60-100 ppm / ° C, a filler with particularly low LCTE must be introduced. Commercial and cheap fillers are quartz. A distinction is made here between crystalline quartz (so-called quartz powder) and amorphous quartz (fused silica, fused silica). The latter has an LCTE of 0.6 ppm / ° C, while quartz flour 12-14 ppm / ° C. For example, adding 61% by weight of amorphous quartz to the then filler-containing formulation gives a composite LCTE of 25 ppm / ° C, which is significantly less than an epoxy / anhydride usually filled with 66% by weight of silica flour System, which can be considered as a reference for a typical potting compound, but this has only the thermal class classification F, ie a continuous service temperature of 155 ° C. In contrast, a composite produced from the casting compound according to the invention has the thermal classification H, ie a continuous use temperature of 180-200 ° C.
However, to further reduce the LCTE value, it is not possible to simply increase the filler content of the finished blend beyond the range given above. As already mentioned several times, during the casting process, a certain level of viscosity must be underrun, so that even thin gaps can be potted without error. Here, a finished mixture at about 80 ° C should have a dynamic viscosity in the range of 1000 mPa · s ("MilliPascalSekunden").
Due to a too high monomodal filler content, this dynamic viscosity would not be reached at about 80 ° C. Although you could increase the processing temperature in this case, but this is not desirable due to the thus shortening gel time.
Against this background, the invention provides for advantageously combining two or three filler fractions having different particle diameters. In this case, fillers are combined with one another in such a way that a filler fraction of smaller diameter fills the gussets of a type which is larger in the particle diameter. Clearly reduced viscosities can be achieved by means of such a packing coefficient optimization because the prepolymeric resin otherwise in gussets is available to the dispersion and thus the toughness decreases.
If the mean particle diameter of the first, second and third filler fraction lies in the microscale range, ie has a value in the range from 1 μm to 1000 μm, a filler particle diameter optimization is advantageous. It is therefore provided according to an advantageous development of the invention that in the case of a bimodal filler component, wherein the first and second Füllstofffraktion each have a value for the average particle diameter from the range of 1 .mu.m to 1000 .mu.m, the average particle diameter of the particles of the second Füllstofffraktion order the factor 2.5 to 15 is smaller than the mean particle diameter of the first filler fraction. Here, the mean particle diameter of the second filler fraction is preferably smaller by a factor of 6-8 (factor 6, 7 or 8) than the mean particle diameter of the first filler fraction.
Further optimization of filler particle diameter is achieved when the filler component contains the first and second filler fractions in a range of from 80% by volume to 20% by volume to 60% by volume to 40% by volume, with the first Filler fraction is contained in the filler component with the higher specified vol .-% - share.
This will be explained with reference to an advantageous example. For example, assuming that in a bimodal (bicomponent) filler mixture a particle diameter ratio of 1: 7 and a fraction of the filler fractions of 70% by volume to 30% by volume are approaching optimum, a filler mixture of e.g. from a powder with an average particle diameter of 700 microns with 70 vol .-% - share and a powder with an average particle diameter of 100 microns, which in the composite filler 30 vol-%. occupies. Such a powder mixture could then, for example, be dispersed as a 61% by weight admixture in 39% by weight of filler-free resin matrix, with significantly lower viscosities being obtained than with a monomodal filler.
Since the viscosity of a bimodal filler mixture compared to the monomodal mixture at about 80 ° C is significantly below said 1000 mPa · s, even a higher total filler content would be possible, e.g. 65% by weight, which would cause the LCTE to further decrease to about 20 ppm / ° C.
An even further optimization of the potting compound is achieved if, as provided according to a still further advantageous development of the invention, the potting compound according to the invention has a third filler fraction with a value for the mean particle diameter in the range of 10 nm to 1000 microns. As a result, a trimodal (three-component) filler component is realized.
In the event that the third filler fraction has a value for the mean particle diameter in the range from 1 .mu.m to 1000 .mu.m, it is advantageous if the average particle diameter of the third filler fraction by a factor of 2.5 to 15, preferably by the factor 6-8 (factor 6, 7 or 8) is less than the mean particle diameter of the second filler fraction.
For a trimodal filler component in which each of the filler fractions has an average particle diameter in the range from 1 .mu.m to 1000 .mu.m, a filler particle diameter optimization may thus be advantageous in which the mean particle diameter of the second filler component is increased by a factor of 2.5 to 15 (preferred by the factor 6 to 8) is smaller than the mean particle diameter of the first filler fraction, and the average particle diameter of the third filler component is smaller by a factor of 2.5 to 15 (preferably by a factor of 6 to 8) than the mean particle diameter of the second filler fraction ,
In the case of a bimodal and a trimodal filler component in which each of the filler fractions should have an average particle diameter in the range from 1 .mu.m to 1000 .mu.m, it should of course be ensured that powders with suitable average particle diameters are selected for the individual filler components. In a bimodal filler component, for example, depending on the Factor, by which the mean particle diameter of the second filler fraction should be smaller than that of the first filler fraction, a first filler fraction having a mean particle diameter can be selected, by dividing by the factor for the second filler fraction a value of at least 1 μm for the mean particle diameter remains. Similarly, the average particle diameters must be chosen for a trimodal filler component. If, for example, the mean particle diameter of the second filler fraction is to be smaller than the mean particle diameter of the first filler fraction by a factor of 2.5, and the average particle diameter of the third filler fraction is smaller by a factor of 2.5 than the mean particle diameter of the second filler fraction, then first Füllstofffraktion a mean particle diameter of not smaller than 6.25 microns are selected.
In a trimodal filler component, the first filler fraction is preferably contained in a range of 60% by volume to 80% by volume in the filler component. The second and third Füllstofffraktion are present in their total with up to 100 vol .-% missing share.
For example, the trimodal filler component may be about 70% by volume of a powder having an average particle diameter of 700μm, about 21% by volume of a powder having an average particle diameter of 100μm powder and about 9% by volume of a powder having an average particle diameter of 14μm included.
Another example of a trimodal filler component may be about 67% by volume of a powder having a mean particle diameter of 105 μm, about 10% by volume of a powder having a mean particle diameter of about 38 μm and about 23% by volume of a powder contain a mean particle diameter of 1.4 microns.
If the mean particle diameter of the first filler fraction is in the range from 1 μm to 1000 μm, and the second or third filler fraction has particles with an average particle diameter in the nanoscale range, ie in the range from 10 nm to 999 nm, 10 nm to 900 nm, 10 nm to 800 nm, 10 nm to 700 nm, 10 nm to 600 nm, 10 nm to 500 nm, 10 nm to 400 nm, 10 nm to 300 nm, 10 nm to 200 nm, 10 nm to 100 nm, 20 nm to 999 nm, 20 nm to 900 nm, 20 nm to 800 nm, 20 nm to 700 nm, 20 nm to 600 nm, 20 nm to 500 nm, 20 nm to 400 nm, 20 nm to 300 nm, 20 nm to 200 nm or 20 nm to 100 nm, in principle no particle diameter optimization is required. This means that the average particle diameter of "nanoparticles" in the specified range and size ratio can be chosen practically arbitrary, since nanoparticles always fit in the gussets of the larger particles, i. The addition of nanoparticles can always achieve a reduction in the viscosity.
In general, it should be noted that powder fractions always have a certain particle size distribution, so that the proportions can vary depending on the powder fractions used. Overall, it is desirable to achieve a packing coefficient-optimized filler component with a packing coefficient of greater than 80%. The higher the filling level of the powder mixture, the stiffer and more resistant to breakage of the Gesamtkomposit.
While a packing coefficient of only about 65% can often be achieved with a monomodal filler component, a packing coefficient of 85% and greater can often be achieved with a trimodal filler component.
In the invention, the second filler fraction and the third filler fraction may each be selected from any suitable powder or powder mixture. The second filler fraction is selected from at least one member of the group consisting of native amorphous fused silica, epoxy-functionalized amorphous fused silica, quartz flour, alumina, dolomite, chalk, glass beads, boron nitride, wollastonite (acicular), zeolite and polysiloxane, and is the third filler fraction selected from at least a member of the group consisting of native amorphous fused silica, epoxy-functional amorphous fused silica, alumina, zeolite and polysiloxane.
Of these elements, for many applications for the second and / or third filler fraction, amorphous native or epoxy-functional fused silica is preferred.
Further, the use of one or more zeolites in the second and / or third Füllstofffraktion is advantageous. It is possible to combine expansive fillers (such as fused silica) with thermally contracting fillers (such as zeolites). As a result, the thermal expansion due to a thermally expanding filler due to the thermal contraction of a thermally contracting filler at least partially compensate. The inventors of the present invention were able to produce epoxy resin composites having an LCTE of about 16 ppm / ° C, which corresponds to the expansion of copper, through a combination of one or more thermally contracting fillers and one or more thermally expanding fillers. As a result, the risk of cracking due to thermal shock can be significantly reduced or even eliminated.
As tests have shown, it is advantageous for a particularly high resistance to breakage if a temperature-stable, polymeric filler material is used as the second and / or third filler fraction, for example a temperature-stable polysiloxane in powder form. This reduces the viscosity of the mixture and at the same time increases the fracture resistance of the finished composite. According to the current assessment of the inventors, the reason could be that the relatively "soft" polysiloxane particles (compared to other, "harder" particles) have a positive effect on the crack resistance. In order to achieve these positive effects of polysiloxane, an addition amount of about 5% by weight to 10% by weight based on the total mass of the potting compound may be sufficient.
For the potting compound according to the invention, for example, a fused silica, preferably an epoxy-functional fused silica, having a value for the average particle diameter in the range of 100 .mu.m to 200 .mu.m, as a second filler fraction, a polysiloxane powder having a value for the middle Particle diameter from the range of 30 .mu.m to 65 .mu.m, and as a third filler fraction a fused silica, preferably an epoxy-functional fused quartz, be used with a value for the average particle diameter from the range of 12 .mu.m to 25 .mu.m.
For example, in the example just mentioned for a trimodal filler component for a potting compound according to the invention, the first filler fraction (fused silica, preferably an epoxy-functional fused quartz having a mean particle diameter value in the range from 100 .mu.m to 200 .mu.m) in a proportion of about 60 vol % to 70% by volume, the second filler fraction (polysiloxane powder having a mean particle diameter value in the range of 30 μm to 65 μm) in a proportion of about 5% by volume to 10% by volume and the third filler fraction (fused silica, preferably an epoxy-functional fused silica, with a value for the average particle diameter from the range of 12 microns to 25 microns) with a proportion of about 20 vol .-% to 35 vol .-% (total of each 100 vol. -%) to be available.
Beispiel: Example:
Tabelle

Prepolymer encapsulants with different filler content were characterized viscometrically by Searle geometry at 80 ° C. The dynamic viscosities of these quartz-filled, prepolymeric potting compounds are shown in the figure.
The resin components, hardener components and fillers which can be used for the potting compound according to the invention are either commercially available or can be easily prepared by mixing suitable, commercially available starting components by a person skilled in the art.
Thermal class H / 200 ° C (thermal class N) materials are known to the person skilled in the art and have been used for a long time to prepare highly heat-resistant laminate composites, in particular in traction machines. These include, for example, the additive-crosslinking, thermosetting silicone resins and / or polyester resins for the mentioned impregnation and impregnation applications. These materials have the disadvantage that they are not curable in thick layers without creating cracks. Polyester resins, for example, show pronounced brittleness due to their reaction shrinkage and are therefore only usable for drizzling and impregnation of mica laminates.
Silicone resins, on the other hand, are characterized by the fact that they have virtually no reaction shrinkage. Due to the high thermal expansion, however, they are unusable for the casting of large components. For acceptable gel times apply temperatures of at least 160 ° C, followed by a 12 to 16 hour curing period. When cooled to room temperature, the encapsulated insulation shrinks to considerable extent according to the underlying coefficient of thermal expansion. Since silicone resins also have only low fracture mechanical resistances, this cooling process results in steps and edges, e.g. at the slot exit or end winding area, to mechanical loads that lead to the tearing off of the material and thus render the insulation electrically unusable at the field-concentrated part.
Also, filler-filled silicone resins have (linear) thermal expansion coefficients LCTE in the range of 90-110 ppm / ° C. For example, even the application of additively crosslinking, thermosetting silicone resin with 50% by weight amorphous fused silica (LCTE about 0.6 ppm / ° C) in the cured state still shows a total LCTE of about 100 ppm / ° C. With a stator slot length of 500 mm, this corresponds to a thermal contraction of approx. 8 mm. When using other fillers (quartz powder, dolomite, alumina, etc.), the LCTE values are much higher for the same filler loading, so that filling ratios of 80% by weight and / or higher are required for comparable composite expansions. It is then expected to have very high dynamic processing viscosities, which can complicate a casting thin-sliced geometries.
The potting compound prepared according to the invention allows the realization of a cured composite with extremely high rigidity. At the same time it has an advantageous elongation at break and high fracture stress characteristics and thus also allows the casting complex, large component geometries, as are common in Bahnmaschinenstatoren.
According to the invention, a potting compound is provided which comprises a mixture of epoxy resins based on bisphenol A diglycidyl ether and / or bisphenol F diglycidyl ether and isocyanate derivatives of the MDI type with a bisphenol diglycidyl ether content of 7% by weight to 30% by weight. -%, preferably 9 wt .-% to 27 wt .-% based on the filler-free resin formulation, wherein in addition about 50 wt .-% or more of a filler fraction based on the total mass is added. It is also advantageous to use mixtures of Füllstofffraktionen with different average particle diameters. These formulations can be reacted with nitrogen-based accelerator substances, in particular based on tertiary amines and / or complex latent catalysts, resulting in highly heat-resistant molding materials. Due to the relatively high proportion of filler, the thermal expansion of the cured composites with LCTE values of 30 ppm / ° C or less is very low, the dynamic processing viscosities of the prepolymeric potting compound at 80 ° C but below about 1000 cp or 1 Pa · s.
Derartig bereitete Formstoffe besitzen außerordentliche Teilentladungsresistenz, hohe Durchgangswiderstände, geringes Wasseraufnahmevermögen, hohe Steifigkeiten, akzeptable bruchmechanische und thermophysikalische Eigenschaftskennwerte sowie ausgezeichnete Hydrolyseeigenschaften. Molded fabrics prepared in this way have extraordinary partial discharge resistance, high volume resistances, low water absorption capacity, high rigidity, acceptable fracture mechanics and thermophysical properties as well as excellent hydrolysis properties.
The present invention provides a new and advantageously thermally cured composite obtainable from a potting compound according to the invention by polymerizing the resin component contained in the potting compound.
Because of the thermally cured composite obtainable according to the invention, new and advantageous electrical machines can be provided which have a thermally cured composite according to the invention in the region of their stator coil and / or their winding overhang.
