Die Metallionenschicht 2, die zum Sterilisieren und Deodorieren dient, ist eine überzogene Schicht, die eine Mehrzahl von Ionen aufweist, welche mindestens zu einer der hierunter genannten Ionensorten wie Germanium-Ionen, Molybdän-Ionen, Mangan-Ionen, Magnesium-Ionen, Chrom-Ionen, Vanadium-Ionen, Zink-Ionen, Silicium-Ionen, Platin-Ionen, Aluminium-Ionen, Selen-Ionen, Kalzium-Ionen bzw. Titan-Ionen gehören, wobei sich die Ionenschicht 2 eignet, an unterschiedlichen Körperhygieneartikeln wie Monatsbinden, Hygieneeinlagen, Papierwindeln, Papierwindelhosen, Inkontinenzhosen, Hygienepapieren, feuchten Papiertaschentüchern bzw. Menstruationstassen, Badetüchern, Badekugeln, Handtüchern usw. aufgetragen zu werden. Titan-Ionen aufweist.
