Abstract
Description
Stand der TechnikState of the art
Rigid aromatic systems are preferred as base structures for the development of intensely fluorescent and lightfast materials, such as the perylene dyes (perylene-3,4: 9,10-tetracarboxylic bisimides [1]). The rigid structures have a favorable effect on high fluorescence quantum yields and stabilities, but are generally also the cause of small Stokes shifts, because there the electronic excitation causes no significant change in the geometry of the dye molecules and the electronic transitions in absorption and fluorescence are very similar. On the other hand, highly fluorescent materials with large Stokes shifts are required for various applications in the art, such as. As in dye lasers, fluorescence solar collectors, in analytical and various other applications, because by the separation of absorption and fluorescence spectrum, the re-absorption of the fluorescent light is pushed back by the dye. A solution to this problem would bring significant progress.

The object of the present invention was to find lightfast, strongly fluorescent fluorescent materials with an increased Stokes shift.

The

The fluorescent dyes described here are remarkably light-fast and meet all the requirements for the fluorescence applications mentioned in the introduction.
Schlussfolgerungconclusion
