Description
The present invention relates to a light module of a motor vehicle headlight. The light module comprises at least one light source for emitting light, at least one primary optics for bundling at least part of the emitted light, at least one secondary optics for projecting at least a part of the bundled light as light distribution onto a roadway in front of the motor vehicle and at least one between the at least one primary optics and the at least one secondary optics arranged in the beam path aperture arrangement. The at least one diaphragm arrangement has at least one edge, which images the secondary optics as a light-dark boundary of the light distribution on the roadway.

In the case of headlamps with an aperture arrangement, unwanted reflections may occur in some cases due to light beams striking the surface of the aperture arrangement at a certain angle, which generate bright areas, so-called intensity maxima, above the light-dark boundary of a dimmed light distribution. This is the case in particular when surfaces of the diaphragm arrangement lie in front of the actual diaphragm plane and generate reflections. Apart from the fact that such intensity maxima are disturbing in the light distribution above the light-dark boundary for the driver of the motor vehicle, these intensity maxima also lead to dazzling of other road users, in particular of oncoming road users. Furthermore, due to the intensity maxima above the light-dark boundary, the case may occur that legally stipulated maximum values of the light intensity in the region above the light-dark boundary are exceeded for the dimmed light distribution and the headlight thus no longer meets the legal requirements. In general, also reflect surfaces that z. B. are black, even at shallow angles incident light rays. Reflections are usually unwanted and annoying, especially in such areas.
In all initially described, known from the prior art headlamps It's all about homogenizing a dimmed light distribution below the light-dark boundary. However, these measures have no effect on unwanted reflections, which can lead to intensity maxima in the light distribution above the light-dark boundary.
Based on the described prior art, the present invention therefore based on the object to design a lighting module of a motor vehicle headlamp of the type mentioned and further that unwanted and uncontrollable intensity maxima above the bright-dark boundary of a dimmed light distribution caused by unwanted reflections on the surface of the diaphragm assembly be reduced, if possible even avoided.
To solve this problem is proposed starting from the light module of a motor vehicle headlamp of the type mentioned that a surface of the diaphragm assembly are at least partially provided with light-diffusing and / or light-absorbing elements which are designed and arranged so that in a range of light distribution above the Light-dark limit results in a lower intensity of the light reflected therefrom by the shutter arrangement than if the light-diffusing and / or light-absorbing elements were not present.
With the present invention, therefore, a targeted reduction of unwanted reflections on the surface of the diaphragm arrangement can be achieved. In the process, those areas of the surface are provided with the light-scattering and / or light-absorbing elements, where incident light beams are reflected in such a way that, without the light-scattering and / or light-absorbing elements in the resulting light distribution, they would generate areas with unintentionally or unacceptably high intensity maxima.
Der Anstieg des dritten Abschnitts beträgt insbesondere 15°.The light module according to the invention preferably produces a dimmed light distribution with an asymmetrical horizontal light-dark boundary. This comprises on the oncoming traffic side a first horizontal section and on the own traffic side a second horizontal section, wherein the second section is arranged higher than the first section. Between the first and the second section of the light-dark boundary, a transition is provided which, for example, as a. Stage, but preferably as a from the oncoming traffic side to the own traffic side obliquely rising third section is formed. The increase of the third section is in particular 15 °.
In the case of diaphragm arrangements, unwanted reflections at the diaphragm surfaces may lead to increased light intensity values above the legally prescribed position of the light-dark boundary. The regions of increased light intensity values above the light-dark boundary are, for example, above the first section of the light-dark boundary on the oncoming traffic side in the vicinity of a break point between the first section and the obliquely rising third section and / or above the third section. The light unintentionally reflected by reflections on the aperture arrangement in these areas above the light-dark boundary is scattered or absorbed by the present invention, so that pronounced intensity maxima are avoided or shadowed so that no or only less light falls on the shadowed areas of the aperture arrangement , which are responsible for the unwanted reflections.
According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the light-diffusing and / or light-absorbing elements are formed and arranged on the surface of the diaphragm assembly to reduce an intensity of light reflections caused by light rays incident flatly on the surface of the diaphragm assembly. In particular, the intensity of light reflections is to be reduced which are caused by light rays incident on the diaphragm arrangement at an angle of 60 ° to 90 ° with respect to a surface normal of the surface of the diaphragm arrangement.
The light-scattering and / or light-absorbing elements of the light module according to the invention can be of any desired design as long as they are have the said light-scattering or light-absorbing properties. According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, it is proposed that the light-scattering and / or light-absorbing elements comprise a roughening of the surface of the diaphragm arrangement. Furthermore, it is conceivable that the light-scattering and / or light-absorbing elements comprise a microstructure on the diaphragm surface. Both the roughening of the surface and the microstructure cause a scattering of the light impinging on them, so that the light reflected from the surface of the diaphragm arrangement in the area of the roughening or the microstructure does not produce pronounced intensity maxima above the light-dark boundary of the resulting dimmed light distribution.
According to another preferred embodiment of the invention, it is proposed that the light-scattering and / or light-absorbing elements comprise form elements which shade reflections of light rays from certain directions, so that they do not penetrate the regions of light distribution above the light-dark boundary, in particular immediately above the horizontal section of the light source Bright-dark border near the break point between the first section on the oncoming traffic side and the rising third section, as well as in the area of the light distribution above the obliquely rising third section can pass. The light-shading form elements on the surface of the diaphragm arrangement are specifically designed and arranged such that they avoid or at least reduce light reflections that would lead to pronounced light intensity maxima above the light-dark boundary of the dimmed light distribution without the shading elements. An appreciable influence or variation of the light distribution below the light-dark boundary should deliberately not occur due to the shadowing form elements. The reflected light which is shaded by the shaped elements can be absorbed by the latter, simply reflected on a smooth surface of the molded elements, or scatteringly reflected on a surface of the shaped elements provided with a corresponding structure, in particular a roughening or a microstructure.
The lichtabschattenden mold elements are advantageously cuboid, cube-shaped, spherical segment-shaped or sawtooth-shaped. The mold elements preferably have a height of 0.05 mm to 1 mm. The height of the form elements can vary over the longitudinal extent.
The light-diffusing and / or light-absorbing elements are preferably applied to the surface of the diaphragm arrangement by a method which is suitable for low-cost, automated mass production. Particularly preferred is an introduction of the light-scattering and / or light-absorbing elements by erosion, etching, blasting, laser machining or direct micro-milling in the surface of the diaphragm arrangement. Of course, it is also conceivable that negative forms of the light-scattering and / or light-absorbing elements are introduced with said means or processes in a tool used for the production of the diaphragm assembly or a corresponding tool insert, so that the diaphragm assemblies produced therewith without that it requires a further processing step at the intended locations, the intended light-scattering and / or light-absorbing elements.
Finally, it is proposed that the diaphragm assembly is made of plastic or metal as a base material. The light-scattering and / or light-absorbing elements can be applied in a particularly simple and cost-effective manner to a diaphragm arrangement made of plastic. In addition, a plastic diaphragm assembly has a lower weight and causes in a mass production of the diaphragm assembly, for example. By injection molding, low cost. Also conceivable is a production of the diaphragm arrangement according to a metal die casting or a metal injection molding process.
