Description
The The invention relates to a method for operating a distributed Arrangement several of a central tube and an outer tube existing flushing system having soil flushing system a BOF converter with inert gas injection for decarburization of Melt in the converter.
The Rinsing a melt, in particular a steel or molten metal, in a BOF (Basic Oxygen Furnace) converter using inert gas and arranged on the converter base, different types of sinks or rinsing blocks, is one in the prior art well-known method.

-blöcke sind ihrerseits mit Düsen durchsetzt, um das Inertgas in die im Konverter befindliche Metallschmelze einzubringen.at the generic converter flushing systems consist of the purging blocks or blocks of a refractory, for example ceramic material. The purging stones or blocks are in turn interspersed with nozzles, to introduce the inert gas into the metal melt in the converter.
To the gas flows under high pressure and with great pressure Speed through the converter nozzles and occurs in the Area of the converter bottom from below into the molten metal one. As a result, in the melt a stirring effect or Badbewegung achieved, among other things, temperature differences in the molten bath.
The Nozzles thus operate under harsh conditions, in particular at its discharge end, which permanently in contact with the molten Metal stands. Accordingly, the nozzle is subject to a high wear.
Der Abbrand bzw. der voreilende Verschleiß der Düsen an ihrem Einspeisungsende beträgt dabei erfahrungsgemäß ungefähr 0,25 mm pro Konverter-Charge.Of the Burning or premature wear of the nozzles At their feed end, experience has shown that this is approximately 0.25 mm per converter batch.
Spülblockes in unmittelbarer Umgebung der Düse durch den hohen Druck und die große Geschwindigkeit des eingeblasenen Gases ebenfalls stark verschleißt und dabei konkav ausgewaschen wird.in addition comes that the refractory material of the purging plug or Spülblockes in the immediate vicinity of the nozzle due to the high pressure and the high speed of the blown gas also heavily wears and thereby is washed out concave.
The Durability of the floor with the purging blocks or blocks and the nozzles is based on the example of a 330t BOF converter in the range of about 4000 melts, whereas the durability of the also with a refractory lined side walls of the converter is about 7000 melts.
Of the Invention is therefore based on the object described above To avoid disadvantages and to create a procedure with which the Durability of the nozzles and the purging plug or block significantly improved and thus the number of melting cycles in the converter is increased.
These The object is achieved according to the invention that over the central tube, the inert gas at least temporarily together with hydrocarbon and together with one by the Annular gap fed between the central tube and the outer tube, reacting with the inert gas or gas mixture of the central tube Mantelgas, preferably hydrocarbon, is blown, wherein the jacket gas when meeting with the liquid steel is split and a annular gap nozzles circular enclosing, mushroom-shaped, porous steel jacket is trained.
The inert gas, preferably argon or nitrogen, and also the hydrocarbon is injected for metallurgical treatment of the molten metal as a core jet according to the invention via the central tube or nozzle in the molten steel, while the cladding gas, in addition to hydrocarbon optionally also water vapor or CO 2 , as an outer ring beam blown. The on the one hand caused when the inert gas with the liquid steel then bath movement and on the other hand caused cleavage of the cladding gas leads to a very energy-consuming reaction with solidification of the liquid steel in the nozzle area. Depending on the injected jacket gas quantity, the diameter, z. B. to 15 cm, and the height, z. B. to 4 cm, the mushroom-shaped, porous and the nozzle circular enclosing steel shell vary. The porous iron fungus thus covers, on the one hand, the purge block or block in the surrounding area of the nozzles, which prevents wear in the form of leaching of the refractory material. On the other hand, the nozzles are protected by the einhausende foreclosure from burning. The only used for bath movement nozzle assembly requires only small amounts of gas, which can reach a blow rate, which is about ≤ 0.045 Nm 3 / t × min.
If the porous iron fungus or steel jacket during solidification the molten metal as an approach over the top of the central Inertgas nozzle form and this should enforce, can advantageously the inert gas temporarily a small amount of oxygen mixed and thus the inert gas nozzle or the central tube be burned.
The same applies at a looming clogging of the annular gap for the nozzle gas injecting the nozzle over the or which are then also briefly driven an inert gas-oxygen mixture can.
A Another embodiment of the invention provides that each annular gap nozzle individually regulated and maintained a constant pressure becomes. Should it do so despite the previously set in the control system Pressure parameters come to a pressure increase, where both the central tube and the annular gap would clog, takes place in the control system as long as a switch to an oxygen or Inert gas admixture, until the previously set, constant target pressure is reached again.
One Another advantage of the method arises when the converter drove with the so-called "Slag Splashing" becomes. This is a known method in which you keep the residual slag in the converter after the converter tap. On this residual slag will be great with the help of a top lance Quantities of nitrogen at high pressure and high speed in the Converter blown. The residual slag is here on the side walls and sprayed to the bottom of the converter vessel.
To the injection is allowed to freeze the sprayed slag, leaving a protective layer for the refractory material in the ground and on the side walls. The invention circular around the annular gap formed, porous, moreover very rough iron fungus enlarges in this area the surface.
There besides, its surface is relatively cold leaves to achieve in this way that a caking of the splashed Slag accelerated on the iron fungus and the adhesion after the Cooling is improved.
