Abstract
Description
- - a frame and
- - A arranged on the frame laser beam source.
Various methods for punching components are known in the prior art, for example punching with a metal stamp, the metal stamp possibly carrying out oscillating movements in the ultrasonic range. Other known methods are the cutting with a water jet as well as the contactless cutting by means of a laser beam.
When cutting with metallic stamps, there is basically the problem that fine fluff occur and burrs are often unavoidable. In addition, there is a risk of whitening. In the known water jet method is disadvantageous that generally uneven, rough cut surfaces arise and the process generally causes high investment costs. In the known laser cutting method is problematic that complex beam guidance systems are required to perform the desired punching can.
Against this background, the invention has for its object to provide a laser punching device with the features described above, which is characterized by low investment costs and at the same time allows cost-effective, fast and accurate punching of components.
According to the invention the object is achieved in that a lens is arranged on the frame, the one or more emerging from the laser beam / laser beam / s spreads flat, so that a laser radiation is formed, the cross-sectional area clearly, z. B. by a multiple, greater than the cross-sectional area / n from the laser beam source exiting laser beam / s is. Preferably, the cross-sectional area of the laser radiation is more than five times, e.g. B. more than ten or more than twenty times as large as the cross-sectional area of the laser beam emerging from the source laser beam / the entire cross-sectional area of the emerging from the laser beam source laser beams. With the teaching of the invention, it is possible to realize high-quality cut surfaces in a simple way. The required cutting forces are low. Furthermore, there are great design freedom in multiple punching machines, especially if small sizes are available.
Conveniently, the laser beam source is designed as a diode laser. This may be a one or more laser diodes existing, pumped with electric current semiconductor laser. The laser punching device can be manually operated, for example, by a correspondingly arranged switch or alternatively, of course, be operated automatically.
Preferably, the lens is designed as a plane lens. The laser beam source is expediently designed such that the laser beams emerging therefrom form a linear cross-sectional area. The lens is expediently designed such that the laser radiation has a, at least substantially, circular or alternatively also rectangular cross-sectional area. The cross-sectional area can also be contoured as desired. Incidentally, a die for supporting the component to be punched is expediently provided.
B. 0,2 mm.Expediently, a radiation guide body is arranged behind the lens in the direction of radiation, through which the spread-out laser radiation passes. This radiation-guiding body preferably has a coating which transfers the cross-sectional area of the laser radiation into an annular area. This is ensured, for example, by the fact that the radiation guide body is coated on the circumference and on its underside-there with the exception of an edge-side annular surface. This ensures that the laser radiation can emerge from the radiation guide body only through the annular surface, resulting in the desired cross-sectional area which is used for laser punching. The radiation guide body is expediently designed as a glass body. Between the lens and the radiation guide body, a, preferably semi-permeable, mirror can be arranged, through which the spread laser radiation passes and which serves for the targeted introduction of the laser radiation into the radiation guide body. In general, however, the desired annular surface of the laser radiation can also be brought about with any device. The annular surface preferably has a width of about 0.1 to 0.3 mm, z. B. 0.2 mm.
According to a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the radiation guide body is arranged to be movable in the direction of radiation in order to facilitate the removal of punching waste arising during the punching process from the component by means of a feed movement. Here, the radiation guide body usually pushes the punching waste through the die down through away and the stamped component can be removed in perfect condition. Of course, it is within the scope of the invention that a device electronics can be provided with the help of a power and / or Time control of the laser beam source and possibly the control of the delivery movement of the radiation guide body takes place.
Overall, with the laser punching device according to the invention, a conceptual standardization of the stamping and welding technique can be carried out by using laser diodes. The laser diodes are very durable and thus ensure high production reliability. Another advantage of the laser diodes is the low energy consumption and high efficiency. The laser punching device according to the invention is only exposed to minimal wear and therefore has a long service life. It also allows closely juxtaposed punches, since only a small application of force to the components to be punched and acting as a punch body radiating guide body is guaranteed. With the aid of the laser punching device according to the invention, even sensitive, brittle-fractured materials can be punched without difficulty. In addition, there is general applicability to all non-transparent materials and composites. By an appropriate energy management is also possible to use the laser punching device alternatively as a welding machine. Overall, the teaching of the invention is characterized by relatively low investment costs.
The laser punching device according to the invention can be used in particular for punching plastic components, for example in corresponding composite materials or even painted molded parts. In particular, applications from the automotive sector should be mentioned, for example the stamping of painted bumpers, spoilers or interior trim parts. However, punching other materials is not excluded.
The invention also provides a method for carrying out a punching process according to
