Eine erste Lösung splittet den ursprünglichen massiven und dadurch entsprechend dicken Schaufellagerring in zumindest zwei dünnere Schaufellagerscheiben auf, welche bspw. unter Zwischenschaltung von Hülsen aneinander gelagert sind, so dass das Gewicht des Schaufellagerrings im Vergleich zu einem dickeren massiven Bauteil deutlich reduziert werden kann. Die zweite Alternative weist ausschließlich eine Schaufellagerscheibe mit axial dazu abstehenden Lagerhülsen auf, wobei die Leitschaufeln über Leitschaufelzapfen in den Lagerhülsen und/oder in der Schaufellagerscheibe selbst gelagert sind. Beide Ausführungsformen bedeuten eine erhebliche Gewichtsreduzierung im Vergleich zu einem bisher bekannten massiven Schaufellagerring, wodurch das Gewicht der erfindungsgemäßen Ladeeinrichtung verringert und damit ein positiver Einfluss auf einen Kraftstoffverbrauch, bspw. eines Kraftfahrzeugs, genommen werden kann. Darüber hinaus kann mit einem derartig ausgebildeten Schaufellagerring, insbesondere mit einem aus zwei Schaufellagerscheiben bestehenden Schaufellagerring, eine dazwischen liegende Luftschicht zur Isolation verwendet werden, wodurch die Temperaturbelastung, bspw. für ein Lagergehäuse, reduziert werden kann.
