Abstract
Description
Weiterhin dienen Polyacrylate als Bindemittel bei der Herstellung von Anstrichfarben.by virtue of acrolein and acrylic acid have high reactivity in their structure. In acrolein, the two functional groups can both simultaneously, as well as react separately. This property leads to that z. B. Acrolein finds many applications. Especially in the production of methionine for animal nutrition Acrolein the starting material. In medical technology, sewage treatment and petroleum industry, acrolein is used as a biocide. Glutaraldehyde is also caused by the reaction of methyl vinyl ether won with acrolein. The glutaraldehyde thus obtained is called pesticide in leather processing, oil production or in used the disinfection of health products. At the production of acrylic acid by gas phase oxidation of propylene Acrolein is known as an intermediate. Acrylic acid is mainly processed to polyacrylic acid. The by polymerization acrylates derived from polyacrylates can absorb many times their own weight in water. As a result, It is used in the manufacture of toiletries such as baby diapers and sanitary napkins used as a superabsorbant. Continue to serve Polyacrylates as a binder in the manufacture of paints.
Acrolein and acrylic acid are mainly recovered by the gas phase oxidation of propylene. Thus, this production is heavily dependent on oil. The use of crude oil as a source material contributes to the release of carbon dioxide and thus to global warming. The decoupling of acrolein and acrylic acid production from crude oil by using renewable raw material sources would thus be CO 2 -neutral and therefore environmentally friendly.
It has long been known that acrolein also by dehydration can be obtained from glycerol. Glycerol is a byproduct the reaction of fatty acids of triglycerides with methanol for the production of diesel fuel and also falls as By-product in oleochemistry. The production of acrolein from methanolysis glycerol Thus, the production of biodiesel would be economical make it more attractive and contribute to environmental protection.

The present invention describes the gas-phase dehydration of glycerine to acrolein using catalysts surprisingly based on cheap titanium dioxide characterized by high specific surface area and sulfate content. These carriers were modified with WO 3 .
The catalytic properties of the mentioned TiO 2 catalysts are surprisingly good and stand out from other catalyst support materials decisively. Particularly good results are achieved with TiO 2 carriers which have a high BET surface area of more than 50 m 2 / g, in particular more than 100 m 2 / g, and a sulphate content of more than 0.1% by weight and in particular more than 0, 5% by weight.
Bei
der industriellen Herstellung von Titandioxiden unterscheidet man
zwei Verfahren, das Chlorid- und das Sulfatverfahren (
Die Vorteile von der Verwendung von Titandioxid für die Dehydratisierung von Glycerin sind;
- High acrolein selectivity with complete conversion of glycerol and thus high acrolein yield
- - Reduced formation of by-products, especially little for the further use of acrolein interfering acetol and propane aldehyde. Due to the separation difficulties of propane aldehyde and acrolein, the low formation of propane aldehyde is particularly desirable.
- - Slow deactivation of the catalyst and thus better service life compared to other heterogeneous catalysts.
- - Better economy due to the use of cheap titanium dioxide compared to ZrO 2 and higher WHSV (weight hourly space velocity) and thus higher space-time yield.
The WHSV (weight hourly space velocity) is a measure of the load capacity of the catalyst, which is calculated by: WHSV [h -1 ] = reactant flow [g / h] / catalyst weight [g]
The dehydration of glycerol according to the invention to acrolein is at a reaction temperature between 150 ° and 450 ° C, preferably at 250 ° C and 350 ° C and especially at 260 ° to 320 ° C in a fixed bed reactor carried out.
Autoklaven möglich.alternative are also the driving in a fluidized bed, fluidized bed with continuous Regeneration, plate reactor, moving bed and in the liquid phase in a fixed bed but also plate reactor and multiphase in trickle bed or autoclave possible.
The reaction can be run with and without O 2 additive.
It is advisable and most beneficial to use aqueous glycerol solutions as a feedstock. This should not exclude the use of other solvents. The aqueous glycerol solution should be between 1% and 95% by weight, preferably between 10% and 80% by weight, and more preferably between 15% and 50% by weight, for good results. The molar ratio of oxygen and Glycerol should be between 0.5 and 10, preferably between 0.8 and 5, in particular between 1 and 2.
The WHSV should be between 0.1 and 8 h -1 , preferably between 0.5 and 4 h -1 and in particular between 1.0 and 2 h -1 .
Aufgrund der hohen Ausbeute und der leichten Abtrennbarkeit von Acrolein vom restlichen Produktgemisch kann das Produkt bei 50–90°C in hoher Reinheit abgetrennt werden.by virtue of the high yield and the easy removability of acrolein from the rest of the product mixture, the product at 50-90 ° C. be separated in high purity.
The synthesized acrolein can be oxidized to acrylic acid. The oxidation can be carried out both with atmospheric oxygen, as well as technical pure oxygen. The oxidation catalyst may be metal oxides such as vanadium, molybdenum oxide mixtures. In terms of process, it is possible to condense the products of the dehydration reaction, to separate them, and to oxidize the isolated acrolein. But it is also possible to oxidize the starting stream of the dehydration reaction directly in the oxidation reactor to acrylic acid, and then to isolate the acrylic acid. The advantage is that the isolation of acrylic acid from other products is easier than the isolation of acrolein, since the boiling points of acrylic acid and other products are significantly different. It is also quite possible to carry out the dehydration and oxidation in a single reactor, thus in one step. In this case, the oxygen flow for the oxidation should be correspondingly increased and a bifunctional catalyst should be used which can catalyze both dehydration and oxidation. For example, a MoO 3 / V 2 O 5 / WO 3 / TiO 2 catalyst is capable of carrying out the conversion of glycerol to acrylic acid in one step.
Chloridgehalt. The carrier materials used are various titanium dioxides which were prepared on the one hand by the chloride method and also by the sulphate method. Titanium dioxides produced by other precipitation processes can also be used. They differ in their specific surface area, which can be determined by N 2 sorption and BET analysis, and in their sulfate or chloride content.
Diese
Trägermaterialien werden direkt mit WO3 nach
der folgenden Methode beladen:
Als Wolframprecursor wird eine
wasserlösliche Wolframverbindung gewählt, allgemein
werden Ammonium(para)wolframat oder Wolframoxalat. Entsprechend
These support materials are loaded directly with WO 3 according to the following method:
As the tungsten precursor, a water-soluble tungsten compound is selected, generally ammonium (para) tungstate or tungsten oxalate. In accordance with the desired WO 3 charge, the amount of tungsten precursor required for this purpose is converted into an aqueous solution. With this aqueous solution, the titania support material is stirred. After an evaporation step in which the water is separated, with sufficient mixing there is a solid consisting of the titanium dioxide and the tungsten precursor adsorbed thereon. The powdery product is then calcined at a temperature of 200 ° C to 900 ° C, preferably at 400 ° C to 700 ° C and more preferably at 500 ° C to 600 ° C.
Das
erfindungsgemäße Verfahren wird durch die folgenden
Beispiele belegt.

From the support materials according to Table 1, the catalysts described in WO 2 / TiO 2 listed in Table 2 are prepared by the impregnation technique described below.
Menge Ammonium(para)wolframat in destilliertem Wasser aufgelöst.
verpresst. Aus diesen Tabletten wird in einer Zerkleinerungsprozedur
die Split-Fraktion von 0,5–1,0 mm herausgesiebt. Tabelle 2: Eingesetzte Katalysatoren
