Description
Weitere Einsatzbereiche sind in der Papierherstellung zu sehen.object The present invention is a process for the preparation of a alkaline washing solution, and an apparatus for carrying out this method. The inventive method finds particular use in the treatment of wastewater, the in petroleum refining and in the further processing of petroleum products obtained there attack. Further areas of application are in papermaking to see.
darstellen:
Hierdurch reichern sich die Produkte dieser Reaktion in der entsprechenden Waschlösung an.hereby the products of this reaction accumulate in the corresponding one wash solution at.
In this neutralization are reduced sulfur compounds such as hydrogen sulphide into a non-dissociated one Shape convicted. This usually takes place at pH values less than 9. These non-dissociated forms are for further workup reactions more readily available, but have the disadvantage that they too fleeting are. To prevent the leakage of these undesirable sulfur compounds to prevent the environment costly and complex apparatus activities be taken. In addition, experimental studies have shown that in neutralizations, for example, with sulfuric acid already a very little overdose the acid lead to a drastic drop in the pH of the wash solution, which to an uncontrollable formation of the corresponding volatile Component leads.
Of these, The present invention is based on the object, to alleviate the known from the prior art disadvantages and in particular to provide a method with which spent washing solution is neutralizable without volatile components such as Hydrogen sulfide leak to any significant extent. Continue to a corresponding device may be proposed.
These Tasks are solved through the independent ones Claims, the respective dependent claims are directed to advantageous developments.
- b) Einleiten eines Oxidationsmittel in die Waschlösung;
- a) introducing carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) into the wash solution while measuring the concentration of at least one volatile chemical compound in a gas phase above the wash solution until it exceeds a predeterminable limit; and
- b) introducing an oxidizing agent into the washing solution;
In Step b) can be a liquid and / or gaseous Oxidizing agents are introduced. Among the to be prepared be alkaline washing solutions In particular sulfur compounds containing washing solutions of a pH of, for example, 13 or more understood, in particular with a pH of 13.5 or more. Under an oxidizing agent is understood a substance having an oxidation reaction, in particular the sulfur-containing compounds, particularly preferably the so-called causes reduced sulfur compounds. Under the term reduced Sulfur compounds in this context, in particular hydrogen sulfide Dimethyl sulfide, thiols and / or other organic sulfur compounds Understood.
The monitoring in step a) of the concentration of at least one volatile chemical compound in the gas phase above the wash solution and in particular the concentration of at least one reduced sulfur compound allows the precise control of the introduction of carbon dioxide and already a significant neutralization of the wash solution, without it to the outgassing worth mentioning Volumes of volatile compounds and especially reduced sulfur compounds comes. In particular, a very small limit can be specified, for example, close to the detection limit of the corresponding chemical component. The direct determination of the concentration of the volatile substance in the gas phase has the advantage, in comparison to the regulation known from the prior art about the pH of the washing solution, that errors, for example in the correlation of the pH measurement with the corresponding concentration of reduced sulfur compounds or in local inhomogeneities of the pH may have their cause, not reflected in the amount of outgassing compounds. By measuring the concentration of a reduced sulfur compound, outgassing of appreciable amounts of the reduced sulfur compounds can be prevented.
- c) introducing carbon dioxide into the wash solution until it reaches a predetermined target pH.
The predictable target pH is preferably below 9.0 and especially at 7.5 or also 7.0. By lowering the pH of the washing solution under a pH of 9.0 will cause a corresponding neutralization of wash solution achieved, wherein by the step b) oxidation of the corresponding reduced sulfur compounds is achieved without these Outgassing can.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the method according to the invention, the oxidizing agent comprises a mixture of molecular oxygen gas (O 2 ) and ozone (O 3 ).
The mixture of molecular oxygen gas and ozone has proven to be particularly effective as an oxidizing agent. In particular, the production of ozone from molecular oxygen (O 2 ) is preferred, wherein the molecular oxygen used is preferably partially converted into ozone (O 3 ) by the use of electrical energy. In particular, this can be done by appropriately trained plasma generators. As a result, a mixture of molecular oxygen gas and ozone is generated, which can be used as an oxidizing agent. By changing the proportions of molecular oxygen gas and ozone, which can be done in particular by a corresponding control of ozone gas production and / or the further admixture of molecular oxygen gas, so can be made an exact adjustment to the required amount of oxidizing agents, without the need for high aparativer effort necessary would.
According to one further advantageous embodiment of the method according to the invention is the quotient of the volume fraction of the molecular oxygen content to the volume fraction of ozone in the range of 9 to 19.
These Quotients have proven to be particularly advantageous since they one enough size activity cause the oxidizing agent, without it being undesirable for the expiration other oxidation reactions comes.
Gemäß einer weiteren vorteilhaften Ausgestaltung des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens liegt der vorgebbare Ziel-pH-Wert im Bereich von 6,5 bis 8,0.According to one further advantageous embodiment of the method according to the invention the predetermined target pH is in the range of 6.5 to 8.0.
The The aforementioned target pH values have proven to be particularly advantageous for the further processing and processing of the washing solutions proved. Especially when burning or reducing to elemental sulfur these pH values of Advantage. Particularly advantageous is a target pH of about 7.0, as the treated wash solution discharged to the environment at such a pH.
- i) the quantity and
- ii) the composition of the oxidizing agent to be introduced as a function of the concentration of at least one of the following substances:
- A) the compounds to be oxidized and
- B) of at least parts of the oxidizing agent before and / or during step b).
Especially can so when using a mixture of molecular oxygen and ozone the respective volume fractions are adjusted. Overall will be preferably, the amount of the oxidizing agent is controlled so that a preferably complete implementation the corresponding sulfur compounds takes place. This is preferred determines the concentration of ozone, especially in the gas phase above the washing solution. For example, the production of ozone in the ozone generator can be stopped, when the measured concentration of ozone in the gas phase a exceeds the predetermined limit. Alternatively or in addition can then basically the supply of oxidizing agent is stopped. This can then preferably the production of ozone should be kept as low as possible, to reduce costs.
- A) einen Behälter zur Aufnahme der alkalischen Waschlösung;
- B) Mittel zur Einleitung von Kohlendioxid (CO2) in die Waschlösung;

- B) means for introducing carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) into the washing solution;
- C) means for introducing oxidant into the wash solution; and
- D) at least one means for determining the concentration of at least one volatile chemical compound.
Farther is a control means is formed, which with the means for initiation of carbon dioxide and the means to introduce oxidant into the washing solution and the means for determining the concentration of at least one volatile chemical compound is connectable and which suitable and determined is to control these components by the method according to the invention.
