Abstract
Steckverbinder mit einem Gehäuse (1), das an seinem ersten Ende einen Steckansatz (2) mit Steckkontakten (3) und an seinem zweiten, vom Steckansatz (2) abgewandten Ende eine Kabeleinführung (4) für ein vieladriges Kabel (5) aufweist und in dem nebeneinander Metallstäbe (8) angeordnet sind, die an ihren zur Kabeleinführung (4) hin liegenden Enden Schneidkontakte (7) für den Anschluß der Kabeladern (6) aufweisen und die mit ihren zweiten Enden in den Steckansatz (2) hineinragen und darin die Steckkontakte (3) bilden, wobei die Metallstäbe (8) an einer aus einem Isoliermaterial bestehenden Trägerplatte (9) angeordnet sind, die im Gehäuse (1) lagesicher aufgenommen ist, und wobei die Schneidkontakte (7) für den Anschluß der Kabeladern (6) an zumindest einer der beiden Oberseiten (9.1, 9.2) der Trägerplatte (9) rechtwinklig abstehend angeordnet sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Trägerplatte (9) ein Kunststoff-Spritzgußteil ist, in welchem die Metallstäbe (8) mittels Umspritzen mit dem Kunststoffmaterial eingebettet sind, und daß die Metallstäbe (8) zumindest in ihren Bereichen, in denen sie mit der Trägerplatte (9) verbunden sind, als ebene Flachstäbe (8.1) ausgebildet sind, die mit ihren zu den Schneidkontakten (7) hin liegenden Oberseiten flächenbündig in der betreffenden Oberseite (9.1, 9.2) der Trägerplatte (9) einliegen.Connector having a housing (1) having at its first end a plug projection (2) with plug contacts (3) and at its second, from the plug neck (2) facing away from a cable entry (4) for a multi - core cable (5) and in the side by side metal rods (8) are arranged, which at their cable entry (4) lying towards end cutting contacts (7) for the connection of the cable cores (6) and which protrude with their second ends in the plug-in projection (2) and therein the plug contacts (3), wherein the metal rods (8) are arranged on an insulating material consisting of a support plate (9) which is received in the housing (1) positionally secure, and wherein the cutting contacts (7) for the connection of the cable cores (6) at least one of the two upper sides (9.1, 9.2) of the support plate (9) are arranged at right angles, characterized in that the support plate (9) is a plastic injection molded part, in which the metal rods (8) by means of Ums are embedded with the plastic material, and that the metal rods (8), at least in their areas where they are connected to the support plate (9), as flat flat bars (8.1) are formed with their to the cutting contacts (7) out lying tops flush with the respective top (9.1, 9.2) of the support plate (9) einliegen.

Es sind vielpolige Steckverbinder in anderer Ausführung bekannt, die ein aus zwei zusammengesetzten Schalen gebildetes Gehäuse aufweisen. Zumindest in eine der Gehäuseschalen sind in der Steckrichtung des Steckverbinders verlaufende Konturen eingeformt, in welche die Metallstäbe eingelegt oder eingesteckt werden. Bei kleiner Teilung im Steckansatz, bei der die daran nebeneinander befindlichen Steckkontakte mit sehr geringem Abstand voneinander angeordnet sind, verlaufen auch die Metallstäbe und die sie aufnehmenden Konturen im Gehäuse mit geringem Abstand parallel miteinander. Um dennoch Platz für die anzuschließenden Kabeladern zu schaffen, sind die zur Kabeleinführung hin liegenden Enden der Metallstäbe mit den daran befindlichen Kontakten voneinander weg gespreizt. So haben die Kontakte an den Enden der Metallstäbe einen seitlichen Abstand voneinander, der größer als der der Steckkontakte im Bereich des Steckansatzes ist. Weiter sind die Kontakte zum Anschluß der Kabeladern als platzsparende Lötkontakte ausgebildet. Bei der Montage des Steckverbinders werden zuerst die Metallstäbe in die betreffende Gehäuseschale eingelegt, danach erfolgt der Anschluß der einzelnen Kabeladern an den endseitigen Kontakten der Metallstäbe. Dies ist innerhalb der Gehäuseschale ein komplizierter und entsprechend aufwendiger Vorgang. Umgekehrt können auch zuerst die Kabeladern an die Metallstäbe angelötet werden, das wiederum erschwert das Einlegen der Metallstäbe in die jeweilige Gehäuseschale.There are known multi-pin connectors in another embodiment, which have a housing formed from two composite shells. Für die Erfindung ist wesentlich, daß mit den Metallstäben und der Trägerplatte eine vorgefertigte, einheitliche Baugruppe geschaffen ist, an der der Anschluß der Kabeladern mittels der Schneidklemmen erfolgt. Diese Baugruppe wird mit den bereits daran angeschlossenen Adern als Einheit in das Gehäuse des Steckverbinders eingesetzt, womit die Montage des mehr- oder vielpoligen Steckverbinders erheblich vereinfacht ist. Zudem wird das Gehäuse des Steckverbinders von denjenigen Kräften und Beanspruchungen gar nicht erst belastet, die beim Kontaktieren der Schneidkontakte mit den Kabeladern auftreten. Gerade bei der Verwendung von Schneidkontakten, die einen abisolierfreien Anschluß der Kabeladern ermöglichen, werden für das Eindrücken der Kabeladern senkrecht zur Ausrichtung der Schneidkontakte nicht unerhebliche Kräfte aufgewendet, die man durch einen sicheren Halt der die Metallstäbe haltenden Trägerplatte leicht kompensieren kann.
