Fügezonen so genannte Wärmeeinflusszonen, d. h. A disadvantage of the known method is that further oxide formation and gas entry at the bonding surfaces of the components are possible. In addition, so-called heat affected zones arise in the area of the connecting surfaces or joining zones, ie. H. Areas in which structural changes in the material of the components occur due to the effect of heat during welding or joining. Both factors have a very negative effect on the quality of the resulting compound.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a generic method for connecting metallic components, in which a secure and permanent connection of components is ensured.
It is a further object of the present invention to provide a generic component, in particular a component of a gas turbine, wherein a secure and permanent connection between the individual components is ensured.
These objects are achieved by a method according to the features of claim 1 and a component according to the features of claim 4.
Advantageous embodiments of the invention are described in the respective subclaims.
A method according to the invention for connecting metallic components of a gas turbine, used for connecting corresponding connection surfaces of the components, uses an isostatic hot pressing method (HIP). According to the invention, before the hot isostatic pressing of the components, an inductive low-frequency pressure welding of at least one connecting surface for the removal of surface irregularities on the at least one connecting surface takes place. Of course, it is also possible that both connecting surfaces of the connecting components are subjected to an inductive low-frequency pressure welding before the hot isostatic pressing of the components. The pre-treatment according to the invention of the connecting surface or of the connecting surfaces by means of inductive low-frequency compression welding melts the latter and converts them into a doughy state by which surface irregularities of the connecting surfaces are canceled or compensated both in the micro and in the macro region. Thus, the binding surfaces to be joined or their surfaces can lie on each other without any gap, so that on the one hand the formation of oxides as well as a gas inlet at the connecting surfaces is avoided. This results in high-strength secure and durable connections between the components. In addition, the inventive method allows use of the isostatic hot pressing process even in hollow structures in which no gas-tight connection is possible.
According to the invention, the low-frequency inductive pressure welding takes place in a vacuum. Advantageously, this contributes to the fact that no gases can remain in the connection surface or the connection surfaces. This also has a positive effect on the quality of the resulting compound.
According to the invention, the low-frequency inductive pressure welding takes place such that no heat-affected zone is formed on the connecting surface or surfaces. This feature also contributes to increasing the quality of the resulting compound, since the so-called heat affected zones, in which structural changes of the material of the components take place, is a weak point of the resulting compounds. The fact that no heat affected zone is formed, this vulnerability is excluded.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the method according to the invention, the frequencies used in the inductive low-frequency pressure welding selected from a range between 0.05 MHz and less than 0.25 MHz. It has surprisingly been found that in addition to the known high frequencies and frequencies in the range smaller than 0.25 MHz are sufficient to achieve in the context of frequency pressure welding sufficient heating and associated melting of the connecting surface and the connecting surfaces. Furthermore, it is possible for different frequencies to act simultaneously or successively on the at least one connection surface. With this multi-frequency technique, it is possible to respond to different textures and geometries of the metallic components to be joined and to achieve the most homogeneous possible heating or melting of the connecting surface or the connecting surfaces.
According to the invention, the at least one connecting surface is freed of oxides before the inductive low-frequency pressure welding. This can be done for example by a mechanical processing of the connection surface. This process step also contributes to increasing the quality of the resulting compound.
According to the invention, the first component is a blade of a rotor in a gas turbine and the second component is a ring or a disk of the rotor. These components are so-called bladed rings or blisks of gas turbine engines.
An inventive component, in particular a component of a gas turbine, consists of a first component and of a second component, wherein the first and the second component are connected by means of an isostatic hot pressing process. In this case, prior to the hot isostatic pressing of the components, an inductive low-frequency pressure welding of at least one bonding surface is carried out, such that the at least one bonding surface is present in a doughy and / or molten state for the removal of surface irregularities on the bonding surface. This ensures that the connecting surfaces to be joined lie on each other without any gap and that no oxide formation or gas entry into the connecting surfaces can occur. This results in a secure and durable, in particular high-strength connection between the components. In one embodiment of the invention, the inductive low-frequency or high-frequency pressure welding takes place in such a way that no heat-affected zone is formed on the connecting surface or surfaces. This ensures that there is no change in structure at the joint surfaces, so that in turn the quality of the resulting compound is significantly improved. The frequencies used in low frequency inductive pressure welding are selected from a range between 0.05 MHz and less than 0.25 MHz. In addition, it is according to the invention that before the inductive low-frequency pressure welding, the at least one connection surface is freed of oxides.
Bei diesen Bauteilen handelt es sich um so genannte Blinks („bladed ring”) oder Blisks („bladed disc”) von GasturbinentriebwerkenAccording to the invention, the first component is a blade of a rotor in a gas turbine and the second component is a ring or a disk of the rotor. These components are so-called bladed rings or blisks of gas turbine engines
