Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for ceramizing a cup-shaped or bowl-shaped glass body. The invention relates in particular reflectors for generating a light image. Become reflectors also used in lighting technology, both in stationary as well as in non-stationary areas (e.g. shop window lighting, Stage lighting, motor vehicles).
Reflectors of this type comprise a paraboloid-like body with a Receiving flange for receiving a luminous element, in particular one Halogen bulb. The outlet opening is located opposite the mounting flange that exits the light. The inner surface of the base body is mirrored, typically with a cold light mirror.
It goes it is about glass in the form of a ribbon or a plate. The tapes or plates can be surface-structured, for example nubbed. But it is always glass bodies that extend in one plane and not hollow are.
A describes a method and an apparatus for ceramizing of glass material. This is also about flat glass, but not about hollow bodies of glass.
The lifespan of reflectors is limited because of thermal Tension often occurs cracks in the vitreous. For this reason, one is endeavors to ceramize the material of the glass reflector base. As is well known, a mixed phase of glassy and crystalline proportions, which is close to an effective coefficient of thermal expansion Results in zero. That is why glass ceramics have a much higher one Resistance to temperature changes than conventional glasses.
Hierzu kommen jegliche Verfahren in Betracht. The ceramization of vitreous bodies, which intermediates in the manufacture of reflectors, has so far been carried out as follows: the vitreous body is opened a carrier plate is placed, with the light exit opening facing down. The vitreous is then heated. For this purpose, all procedures come in Consideration. The warming will operated such that the transformation temperature of the glass exceeded and the desired ceramization is achieved.
Dies erfordert zahlreiche, aufwendige Versuchsreihen. In numerous applications of reflectors, this is important Generate a flawless photo. This requires in particular a high degree of shape retention of the vitreous. During the ceramization comes it however due to the heating above the transformation temperature a deformation of the vitreous body under its own weight. At the previous methods, this fact requires that the contour of the Green glass body. This lead must be experimental for everyone Temperature history and every geometry of the reflector can be determined. This requires numerous, complex series of tests.
The invention is based, a method and a task Specify device with which reflectors are produced in this way let that their photo always of the same, flawless and reproducible quality.
This task is characterized by the features of the independent claims solved.
The inventors recognized the following:
When the glass body is heated as part of the ceramization process, the glass material is deformed. The target contour of the inner surface is left. The deviation of the actual contour from the target contour is small, but has the mentioned effects, which are not acceptable.
As a remedy for the deformation, one could also think of to provide a support body whose outer contour is identical to that Inner contour of the glass body is in the ceramic state. However, that would have been the following disadvantages: Due to the ceramic shrinkage comes on the one hand there is a relative movement between the vitreous and Support body, which scratches the inner surface of the vitreous body may have. On the other hand, the shrinking vitreous can even open tilt the support body. It can also be immediate Contact between the glass body and support body to glue the glass come.
The invention allows a flexible solution to the problem. she ensures perfect quality of the inner surface of the vitreous and avoid sticking. The invention can not only be used for Apply reflectors, but also with other bowls or cup-like hollow bodies.
Die Erfindung ist anhand der Zeichnungen erläutert. Darin ist im einzelnen folgendes dargestellt. The invention is explained with reference to the drawings. In it is in detail shown the following.

Fig. 4 shows the subject of Fig. 1 with a third embodiment of a carrier according to the invention.
Fig. 5 shows the process of the invention acting on the heated glass body forces in a schematic representation.
In Fig. 1, there is a glass body 1, which serves as a base for a reflector. Vitreous body 1 is in the form of a paraboloid of revolution. It has a socket flange 1.1 , and also a light outlet edge 1.2 opposite the socket flange , which forms the light outlet opening.
Glass body 1 rests on a carrier 3 with its light exit edge 1.2 . Carrier 3 can consist of a wide variety of materials, for example ceramic or steel. In the present case it is plate-shaped.
The parabolic target inner contour 1.3 of the vitreous body 1 can be seen . It can also be seen - shown in dashed lines - that inner contour 1.4 which arises when heated for the purpose of ceramization if no measures according to the invention are taken, as the inventors have recognized. Accordingly, the upper region of the vitreous body 1 will sag without such measures according to the invention.
A first embodiment of the carrier 3 according to the invention can be seen from FIG. 2. As can be seen, carrier 3 is again plate-shaped, but carries a dent 3.1 . This has a certain outer contour 3.2 , which has approximately the shape of a paraboloid.
Carrier 3 has a central channel 3.3 with a gas inlet opening 3.4 . The gas inlet opening 3.4 is connected to a compressed gas source.
The gas can be air. The gas rising through the channel 3.3 is deflected radially into the gap 3.5 at the socket flange, which is still closed during the ceramization process. The gas finally exits radially between the light exit edge 1.2 and the plate-shaped part of the carrier 3 .
Due to the viscous flow resistance, a pressure cushion builds up in the gap 3.5 , which counteracts the weight of the glass body. In particular, this reduces the deformation of the vitreous body under its own weight.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, the carrier 3 can again be seen. Instead of the dent body 3.1 , however, it carries a shell body 3.6 . This in turn has a paraboloid shape or a shape similar to this. The shell body 3.6 is either provided with holes for gas supply, or it consists of a porous material through which the gas can flow from the chamber 3.8 into the gap 3.5 . In any case, the plate-shaped part of the carrier 3 is provided with a bore 3.7 through which gas under pressure can be introduced into the interior 3.8 enclosed by the shell body 3.6 .
In the embodiment according to FIG. 4, the carrier 3 is formed from a disk which is bulged in such a way that the outer contour 3.2 is again approximately parabolic. In addition, the disc is provided with several holes 3.9 for gas supply. The local pressure distribution in the gap can be influenced by suitable positioning of these bores.
An important aspect of the invention is illustrated in FIG. 5: If the glass body 1 is freely supported on the carrier 3 , it is brought into a suspended state by the gas cushion. The levitation height is such that the pressure force 4.1 or 5.1 acting on the glass body is in equilibrium with the weight force 4.2 or 5.2 . By suitable positioning of the gas inlet openings and by a suitable contour 3.2 of the bulge or shell body, the gas flow can be guided in such a way that the resultant 4.3 or 5.3 from the pressure force and weight force is tangential to the contour 1.3 of the glass body at every point. This is approximately met with a central gas supply. These force relationships ensure that no or only small bending moments act on the glass body, so that its deformation is avoided or at least significantly reduced.
