Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Fingergrundgelenksimplantat. The invention relates to a finger base joint implant.
A finger base joint is replaced according to the state of the art for example by interposition of soft tissue or a spacer from a plastic, for example from Silastik®. The most common is a silicone Spacer used, which only serves as a spacer and is not a joint replacement. After its use, the joint is unstable and can only be moved to a very limited extent. This can lead to premature abrasion of the material and thus to osteolysis on the Bone ends come. For joint prostheses with metal-metal sliding pairing, but especially with metal-polyethylene sliding pairing, it can be caused by abrasion of the material come to osteolysis at the bone ends. By making that out the prior art known metal or plastic joint prostheses in the Are usually in several parts, there may be loosening of the individual components, which affects the life of the implant. Since the Finger joint implants, the finger joint endoprostheses, as a rule coupled, this often leads to premature loosening of the joint.
The object of the present invention is to create an artificial finger joint create an anatomical movement with a wear-free sliding pairing allows. In addition, biologically inner materials should have a long-term Allow joint replacement.
The task is solved by an uncoupled, two-part implant with congruent, spherical sliding surfaces. It is shown in FIGS. 1 to 4. Fig. 1 shows a perspective view. The basic finger joint implant 1 consists of two monolithic components, the proximal component 2 , consisting of the hollow spherical socket bearing 3 with the proximal shaft 4 , and the distal component 5 , consisting of a ball 6 mounted in the socket bearing 3 , which is attached by means of the distal shaft 7 is implanted in the finger bones.
Fig. 2 shows the proximal view. FIG. 3 shows a view of the implant in the flexion position and FIG. 4 shows a section through the implant in the position according to FIG. 3 in a side view.
As can be seen from FIG. 4, the bearing surface 8 of the socket bearing 3 extends beyond the equatorial plane 9 and thus offers great protection against luxation, protection against dislocations of the phalanx. When the limbs are fully extended, an abduction / adduction of up to +/- 30 degrees is possible. The adduction is ensured by a movement-appropriate recess 10 in the proximal component 2 . With increasing flexion, i.e. with increasing flexion of the finger, the implant is guided in such a way that both abduction and adduction are increasingly restricted.
The advantages of the implant according to the invention are that it consists entirely of ceramic, preferably of aluminum oxide ceramic. Both the proximal and distal implant components are monolithic. The shape of the prosthesis enables good mobility with anatomical lateral guidance. The shape of the storage and the material itself ensure high abrasion resistance and thus long-term durability. The implantation is carried out without cement. For this purpose, the proximal shaft 4 and the distal shaft 7 have a coating which promotes bone ingrowth, osteointegration, for example hydroxylapatite. The stems can also have a structure that is porous and thus promotes ingrowth of the bone tissue.
Because of its shape, the prosthesis according to the invention is particularly suitable for replacement destroyed and unstable finger joints, especially in rheumatics, suitable.
