The invention relates to a method for the thermal splitting of industrial waste rubber and a device for carrying out the method. From DE 196 17 450 A1 a process for the recovery of rubber-like elastomers using dry distillation is already known. The process is characterized by the process steps
-
1. Einbringen des Altmaterials in eine Vorkammer zum Trocknen;1. placing the waste material in a pre-chamber for drying;
-
2. Überführung des getrockneten Altmaterials in eine Retortenkammer;2. transfer of the dried old material into a retort chamber;
-
3. Erhitzen des Altmaterials in der Retortenkammer;3. heating the waste material in the retort chamber;
-
4. Trennen des flüssigen vom trockenen Rückstand;4. separating the liquid from the dry residue;
-
5. Zerkleinern des trockenen Rückstandes;5. crushing the dry residue;
-
Separate the powdered or granular residue from others
Residue sharing.
LKW-Reifen begrenzt. Es fallen nicht weiter verwendbare
Nebenprodukte an.The old material is placed in a heatable retort container and reduced

Distillate is drawn off and stored as a liquid product. The remaining residues
are cooled and crushed into dust, separated from other remains of the reinforcement and

suitable ratio mixed again to produce new, rubber-like elastomer masses
be used or separately or mixed new elastomer compositions until adjustment
the desired parameters can be added. The process requires a very complex one

the crushing of the dry residues using rotation is e.g. B. use

By-products.
Against this background, the invention has for its object a method for dry

can be supplied and a device for performing the method.
In
ablaufen. The task is solved in that each type of industrial rubber is independent

erläutert. The invention is illustrated by the drawing, which shows a section through the device

In Abhängigkeit

In the exemplary embodiment, pieces of used car tires are used as industrial waste rubber. The diameter of the inner container is approx. 100 cm. The device consists of the outer container 1 , which is made of steel. The outer container 1 is thermally insulated on both sides. Electrical heating elements 3 are arranged on the inner wall of the outer container 1 , preferably at a distance of 10 cm and parallel to one another. Cooling tubes 11 are also arranged in parallel between the electrical heating elements 3 . Water is used as the coolant. The outer diameter of the outer container 1 is 132 cm in the example, the inner diameter 110 cm. The height of the outer container is 230 cm. The inner container 2 is approximately 100 cm high and advantageously has a perforated sheet jacket and is open at the top. The perforated sheet jacket serves for better heat and gas circulation during the process. The height of the inner container 2 is chosen to be <100 cm, so that several inner containers 2 can be arranged one above the other in the outer container 1 . The lowest inner container 2 is fixedly connected to a central rod 4 , which is arranged centrally in the inner container 2 . The other inner container 2 have recordings on the center rod 4 is a corresponding central opening so that they can be plugged onto the central rod 4, filled or empty. Depending on the height of the inner container 2 , 4 spacers 5 are arranged on the central rod, thus ensuring a small distance between the individual inner containers 2 . To reduce the oxygen partial pressure in the closed system, a gas feed line 10 for an inert gas is arranged in the lower part of the reactor. The inner container 2 are filled outside the outer container 1 with the used car tires, placed one above the other on the central rod 4 and inserted into the outer container 1 . Subsequently, a lid 6 is placed on the outer container 1 and the latter is thus sealed. In the cover 6 there is a gas opening 7 for discharging the pyrolysis gases and on the cover 6 there are further two fastening eyelets for transporting the cover 6 . A gas line 8 is connected to the gas opening 7 and is designed like a cooling coil in the further course. When the pyrolysis gases are discharged through the cooling coil, approx. 90% pyrolysis oil condenses, which is collected in the collecting container 9 . At the same time, the 10% pyrolysis gas remains in the collecting container 9 . After the cover 6 is tightly closed, the electrical heating elements 3 are heated. They are heated until a temperature of 500 ° C. is established in the space between the outer 1 and inner container 2 , which are maintained until the gasification is complete. Dry distillation starts at around 230 ° C. The dry distillation continues until the gas outlet has noticeably reduced. The electrical heating is switched off and the cooling is switched on. When it has cooled sufficiently, the lid 6 is opened and removed. The inner container 2 are removed with the center rod 4 and emptied. The steel components are roughly separated from the active carbon in order to then separate them magnetically. The active carbon obtained and the steel components are fed separately from one another as starting material for further use. The active carbon accumulates in pieces of different sizes, on which the textile structures of the cord fabric are still clearly visible, but the use as e.g. B. Do not interfere with heat insulation material. The process according to the invention is distinguished from the known processes by a substantially better energy balance and the products obtained can all be used immediately as a starting material in a further processing step. The structure of the device is simple, making it easy to operate and maintain.
A further advantageous embodiment of the device is if, instead of the arrangement of electrical heating elements 3 on the inner wall of the outer container 1, the inner wall per se is specially designed. In this example, the inner wall of the outer container 1 with technical ceramics, for. B. SiC coated. The coating is electrically connected and is heated to the required temperature of 500 ° C using electrical current. In this embodiment, a significantly lower consumption of electrical energy is advantageous. The arrangement of SiC-coated rod elements on the inner wall of the outer holder is also a possible embodiment of the device according to the invention. The effectiveness of the energy conversion into heat is increased even further if longitudinal waves are used to heat the SiC coating in a further embodiment of the invention. For this purpose, a transmission antenna is installed outside the reactor, the performance of which is determined by the dimenionization of the reactor and adapted to the type of industrial waste rubber used. One or more receiving antennas are arranged on the inner wall of the outer container or on the coated rod elements. The receiving antennas are fed with longitudinal waves via the transmitting antenna, which corresponds to the order of magnitude of the molecular natural frequency of the SiC coating. The SiC molecules are set in vibration and heat up and the atmosphere surrounding them or ultimately the filling material in the inner containers 2 . A major advantage of this design is the elimination of the cabling between the reactor and the outside world, which means that cable breaks that are always a cause of leaks are no longer required. The power of the transmitter antenna is easily adapted to the energy requirements of the gasification process.
