Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a vehicle roof with an adjustable Closure element for a roof opening according to the preamble of claim 1.
Such a generic vehicle roof is known, for example, from US Pat. No. 5,188,420 A1. in which a pressure-resistant drive cable from the front of the shoe in the rear area a cover arranged adjusting mechanism drives. The drive cable and that Drive cable leading cable duct are in the transverse direction of the roof with respect to Adjustment mechanism arranged offset. The disadvantage of this arrangement is that it is relatively large Space requirement in the transverse direction of the roof.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a vehicle roof of the type mentioned to create an adjustment mechanism, which takes up little space Has transverse roof direction.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by a vehicle roof as defined in claim 1 is defined. In this solution according to the invention it is advantageous that the fact that vertically moving element of the adjustment mechanism through the plane of the drive element and of the guide device for this, the drive element and the Guide device for this is not offset in the transverse direction of the roof with respect to the adjustment mechanism must be, whereby the space required in the transverse direction of the roof is kept low.
Preferred embodiments of the invention result from the subclaims.
Dabei zeigen:In the following, an embodiment of the invention is exemplified with reference to the drawings explained in more detail. Show:
Fig. 1 eine perspektivische Seitenansicht, teilweise in Explosionsdarstellung, des Bereichs der Verstellmechanik eines Fahrzeugdachs; und Fig. 1 is a perspective side view, partly in exploded view, of the area of the adjusting mechanism of a vehicle roof; and
Fig. 2 die Schnittansicht entlang der Linie II-II in Fig. 1. FIG. 2 shows the sectional view along the line II-II in FIG. 1.
According to Fig. 1 and 2, a slide cover 10 is provided to a roof opening in a fixed roof skin 12 to close or selectively release at least in part. The cover 10 is connected in its rear area on both longitudinal sides in each case by means of a bolt 14 to an adjusting lever 16 of an adjusting mechanism, generally designated by the reference number 18 . A cable duct 22 for a pressure-resistant drive cable is provided on a frame 20 fixed to the roof, said cable duct comprising a rear area 24 and a front area 26 , the rear area 24 being driven to move in the longitudinal direction of the roof by means of a drive (not shown) known per se. A recess is provided in the cable duct 22 , into which a link element 28 of the adjustment mechanism 18 is inserted, which has a link slot 30 in which the outer end of the bolt 14 engages. Furthermore, the link element 28 has a link path 32 , along which a guide pin 34 of the adjusting lever 16 can slide. At its lower end, ie at the end opposite the end with the bolt 14 , the adjustment lever 16 has a further bolt 36 which is guided through an opening 38 in a slide 40 and thus ensures that the adjustment lever 16 is pivoted in the slide 40 ( the cable and the carriage 40 are shown in an exploded view in FIG. 1, ie not at their actual installation location). The rear region 24 and the front region 26 of the drive cable are fixedly connected to the carriage 40 at their respective ends, preferably by means of an injection-molded plastic connection (not shown). The carriage 40 thus serves as a fixed coupling between the two regions 24 and 26 of the drive cable, but it forms a recess 42 between the two regions 24 and 26 of the drive cable through which the bolt 14 can dive. The carriage 40 is guided in a roof-fixed guideway, which is formed by part of the frame 20 , in the longitudinal direction of the roof, the guideway for the carriage 40 running below the cable channel 22 . The front region 26 of the drive cable is connected at its free end to an adjustment mechanism for a wind deflector on the front edge of the roof opening and / or to a mechanism for raising / lowering the front edge of the cover in order to drive these mechanisms.
When the carriage 40 is moved forwardly (ie to the left in FIG. 1) by force application over the rear region 24 of the drive cable from the position shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, it takes the bolt 36 with it, whereby the lower end of the Adjustment lever 16 moved forward. As a result, on the one hand, the link pin 34 slides downward on the link path 32 , and on the other hand, the pin 14 slides downward in the link slot 30 , so that the rear region of the cover 10 is lowered. Because the link element 28 is seated in a recess in the cable duct 22 and, on the other hand, the drive cable is interrupted in the region 42 of the carriage 40 , the bolt 14 , ie the left end region of the bolt 14 in FIG. 2, can pass through both the cable duct 22 and pass through the drive cable, which only makes the compact design possible with the arrangement of the cable duct 22 below the adjustment mechanism 18 .
The front area 24 of the drive cable is driven in a known manner by a drive pinion.
