Abstract
Die eingesetzten Staemme erlauben eine hohe Transformationsgeschwindigkeit bei minimalem Energieverlust.{Entfernung; Entgiftung; Synthesegas; Kohlenmonoxid; Energietransformation; Wasserstoff; Methan; Fermentation; anaerobe Mikroorganismen; thermophil; lithotroph; Carboxydothermus hydrogenus; Methanobacterium thermoautotrophicum}The invention relates to a process for the removal of carbon monoxide from carbon monoxide-containing gases (for example lignite coking synthesis gas). The aim of the invention is the effective transformation of the combustion energy of carbon monoxide to gaseous energy carriers such as hydrogen and / or methane for the removal of the toxic carbon monoxide from synthesis gas. Description
The invention relates to a microbiological process for the effective transformation of the combustion energy of carbon monoxide from synthesis gas (ζ of lignite coking) to hydrogen and / or methane.
This achieves detoxification and improved storage capability of the synthesis gas in underground gas storages.
Traditionally, syngas is used as a product of lignite coking as an energy carrier in industry, but ac h in households. The carbon monoxide content makes the synthesis gas a toxic gas mixture. To prevent intoxication, the gas is marked with odorous substances that signal the danger to humans. The need for syngas is seasonal. Synthesis gas is stored in various types of gas storage systems. This often happens in subterranean geological formations (underground storage). During storage, considerable losses of combustible gases occur. These losses are primarily microbial.
