Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a process for the preparation of catalysts which are suitable for the non-oxidative conversion of hydrocarbons and heteroatom-functionalized organic substances.
Zeolites with pentasil structure, whose most prominent representatives of ZSM-5 and ZSM-11 are considered to be effective catalysts or catalyst components for the non-oxidative conversion of hydrocarbons and oxygen and other heteroatom-functionalized organic compounds described. It is known that such zeolites for the conversion of methanol or dimethyl ether to hydrocarbons in the VK boiling range or to lower alkenes (US Patent No. 3,333,250), for the cleavage of higher-boiling hydrocarbon fractions (US Patent No. 3,758,403), to Isomerization of C 8 aromatics (for example, US Pat. No. 4,224,141), for paraselective alkylation (US Pat. No. 4,097,543) or disproportionation of toluene (US Pat. No. 4,052,476), for the reaction of> alcohols or ethers to give amines (e.g., U.S. Patent No. 4,082,805) as well as many other specific reactions.
Dieses liegt bekanntermaßen für die Umwandlung von Methanol zu flüssigen Kohlenwasserstoffen an Zeolithen desBased on the fact that the catalytic activity of said zeolite groups is generally attributed to the existence of Bronsted centers on the zeolite surface, which in turn is due to the presence of lattice aluminum atoms, it follows that the optimum course of a reaction is a defined Si / Al Molar ratio in the grid requires. This is known to be the conversion of methanol to liquid hydrocarbons to zeolites of the
In vielenl katalytischen Umwandlungen /eigen Katalysatoren auf der Basis Template-frei hergestellter Pentasilzeolithe eine verstärkte Neigung zum Verkoken und damit eine relativ geringe Standzeit.ZSM-5 type in the region of 30 to 70, for the conversion of methanol to alkenes in the range of 70 to 120. The adjustment of such Si / Al molar ratios can be realized relatively uncomplicated, if the aluminosilicate hydrogels used for hydrothermal crystallization one or several etrukturdirigierende organic substances, so-called template compounds such. B. quaternary Alkylammonlumeaize, amines, alcohols u.a. (US Pat. No. 3,702,886, US Pat. No. 3,941,871, US Pat. No. 4,112,056, DE-OS No. 2,442,240, DE-OS No. 2,817,576, DE-OS No. 2,913,552). A disadvantage of these synthetic variants with the addition of template compounds is the high technical and economic effort to recover unconverted templates and the inevitable burning of built-in zeolite organic substances that on the one hand requires a lot of effort for disposal, on the other hand sometimes significant irreversible damage to the zeolite itself leads. As an alternative to this, processes for the crystallization of pentasil zeolites are known which dispense with the use of organic template compounds (DE-CS 3,242,352, DD-PS 207,186). The disadvantage of these methods, however, is that as a result of the synthesis only products with a low Si / Al molar ratio in the lattice are accessible. In many catalytic conversions / intrinsic catalysts based on template-free pentasil zeolites, there is an increased tendency to coke and thus a relatively short service life.
Also known are processes in which the reaction mixture for zeolite synthesis a boron compound is added (BeIg. Pat. 880,858, DE-OS 3,316,488) as well as methods in which the resulting boron-containing products of a subsequent annealing in the presence of water vapor (US-PS 4,620,921) or bore-extracting treatment (EP 169,026). However, the processes mentioned are based on the use of zeolites synthesized in the presence of organic compounds with the disadvantages already mentioned above, or can be carried out with only considerable additional expenditure.
The aim of the invention is a flexible, cost-effective and environmentally friendly process for the preparation of shape-selective catalysts or catalyst components, which can be used advantageously in processes of selective non-oxidative conversion of organic substances.
