Abstract
The invention relates to a process for the preparation of emulsifier-poor emulsion polymers of vinyl chloride according to the continuous polymerization technology with known, any emulsifiers without the use of Saattechnologie. According to the invention, the emulsifier is fed in two portions to the reactor so that 50 to 99.95 * of the total amount is continuously added and 0.05 to 50% of the total amount is added in time, and the second portion is supplied and interrupted for a period of 1 to 480, respectively Minutes, wherein the supply of both emulsifier shares separated, divided or shared.
Description
Zur Vergrößerung der LatexpartikelIt is known to reduce the Emulgatoi share in emulsion polymers either by increasing the latex particles or lowering the Emulgatorbedeckungsgrades, already in the polymerization process. Otherwise, cumbersome and expensive post-processing for the separation or destruction of the emulsifier close .in. To increase the latex particles
a) setzt man entweder die Anfangsemulgatorkonientration horab (Brit. P. 699016, Bri. P. 941506, J. Ugelstad u. a., J. Polym. b) wählt spezielle Emulgatorsysteme (DOS 2531780, DBP 842119, DOS 2742178, SU 329187) bzw.b) selects special emulsifier systems (DOS 2531780, DBP 842119, DOS 2742178, SU 329187) or

In a broader sense, this also includes the microemulsion method, in which solvent droplets or particles from oligomoric act as a germ (DOS 2737112, DOS 2751867)
Weiterhin ist bekannt, daß man zur Verminderung des Emulgatorbedeckungsgrades der Latexpartikel Furthermore, it is known that to reduce the Emulgatorbedeckungsgrades the latex particles
US P. 2 520 959).d) uses a correspondingly measured initial emulsifier concentration, after which, depending on the desired emulsifier degree of capping, emulsifier may optionally be added according to the rate of particle growth (US Pat. No. 2,520,959).
The processes according to b) to d) can also be carried out according to continuous polymerization technologies, where for) or d) at least one separate polymerization stage is required for the preparation of the seed latex and thus an increased technical complexity. A process which allows the continuous production of emulsifier-poor polymers with any emulsifiers and without the use of Saattechnologie, is not known.

The object is achieved in that the emulsifier is supplied in two portions so that 50 to 99.95 wt .-% of the total amount of uninterrupted and 0.05 to 50% of the total amount are added in time interruption and supply and interruption of the second portion each time for a period of 1 to 480 minutes, wherein the supply of the two Emulgatoranteüe separated, divided or together egg follows.
A continuous vinyl chloride emulsion polymerization process is carried out with delivery of 500I vinyl chloride / hr. and 3601 emulsifying water / hr. with a mean residence time of τ = 17h. operated stationary in a stirred polymerization autoclave. The emulsifying water contains 2.5% based on water emulsifier, a water-soluble initiator system and substances for adjusting the pH. The polymer content of the resulting latex is 54.4%, the emulsifier, based on PVC, is 2.3%. A lowering of the emulsifier in the emulsifying water by more than 0.2% leads to the destabilization of the latex.
