Description
The invention relates to a process for the chemical amplification of the mass transfer of hydrogen fluoride-containing exhaust gases. Hydrogen fluoride-containing waste gases accumulate in the chemical industry in various processes, in particular in the thermal Entfluorierung of crude phosphates. The removal of the HF component from these exhaust gases is necessary for the extraction of fluorine salts or hydrofluoric acid, both for reasons of air hygiene and for the utilization of the HF component. It is customary in industrial practice to carry out the absorption in alkaline solution in the case of very dilute HF-containing exhaust gases, while in the presence of an increased HF content the recovery of HF-containing acids as an intermediate for the production of aluminum fluoride or anhydrous hydrogen fluoride preference Has.
(DD-PS 117.428, DE-OS 2538.292, DD-PS 137."'j7, DD-PS 142.534, DD-PS 150.737, DE-OS 2.649.188, DE-AS 1.258.844, US-PS 3.219.410, DD-PS 266.659)It is known to carry out the absorption of HF-containing exhaust gases in aqueous alkaline solutions or suspensions, whereby alkali or alkaline earth fluorides are formed, which can be used for the preparation of further fluorine products. (DD-PS 127,548, DD-PS 137,697, DD-PS 145,007, DD-PS 228,533, US-PS 3,238,017) However, in the absorption of HF-containing exhaust gases in neutral or alkaline solutions or suspensions is no HF solution, which can be enriched for a commercially useful concentrated hydrofluoric acid or anhydrous hydrogen fluoride, accessible. It is also known to absorb HF-containing exhaust gases, in particular those which are formed in the thermal Phosphatentfluorierung, in water to dilute HF solutions. (DD-PS 117.428, DE-OS 2538.292, DD-PS 137. "'j7, DD-PS 142.534, DD-PS 150.737, DE-OS 2.649.188, DE-AS 1.258.844, US-PS 3,219,410 , DD-PS 266.659)
The resulting NEN HF-containing aqueous solutions generally have a content of about 10-20% of hydrogen fluoride. In the production of such solutions, it is not possible, despite the use of modern high-performance absorption trays, to produce a commercially viable soil solution of a commercially viable HF solution with a minimum content of 20% due to the high HF tension which even highly diluted solutions have, without exceeding the air hygiene standards of 30mg HF / m \ N. For this reason, it has already been proposed to make the exhaust gas purification of HF-containing exhaust gases in two stages, wherein in the 1 .Absorptionsstufe a usable HF solution is generated, while in the 2nd absorption stage, the HF-containing residues, in the I.Stufe could not be absorbed due to the high Pcrtialdruckss of aqueous HF solutions, be subjected to a Nachabsorption in alkaline solution. (DE-OS 2,649,188) However, a significant proportion of the hydrogen fluoride hydrofluoric acid recovery is lost.
The aim of the invention is to increase the recoverable as hydrofluoric acid HF content due to a chemically accelerated absorption process of HF-containing exhaust gases in aqueous HF solutions.

The vapor pressure reduction of HF solutions according to the invention by addition of NaF or NaHF 2 to HF solutions can be advantageous for carrying out absorption processes of HF from waste gases to dilute HF solutions which serve as an intermediate for producing concentrated hydrofluoric acid or anhydrous hydrogen fluoride, It is particularly advantageous, as sodium hydrogen fluoride or sodium fluoride additive, sodium hydrogen fluoride-sodium fluoride solutions, in the processing of dilute hydrofluoric acid solutions to concentrated hydrofluoric acid or anhydrous hydrogen fluoride in the recovery of crystalline sodium hydrogen fluoride by reaction of HF solutions with sodium fluoride as saturated solutions containing 0.5-1.5% NaHF 2 and 2-3% NaF are used as absorption solution. The Na-containing HF solution resulting from this absorption process can be processed further without difficulty via the abovementioned route via precipitation as NaHF 2 and its thermal decomposition to concentrated HF.
The inventive addition of NaF or 'iHFj to the absorption solution for the recovery of aqueous HF solutions from hydrogen fluoride-containing exhaust gases, it is possible to significantly increase the proportion of usable HF solution in the first absorption stage and in modern absorption plants for the extraction of exhaust gases Environmental protection reasons 2. Alkaline Absorptionastufa necessary to relieve extensively. (DE-OS 2,649,188) The invention will now be explained in more detail with reference to an embodiment.
