Fig. 2The invention relates to a dry container with Vertikalfoerderer for drying plastic granules in fragment form. The task of enriching the prior art with respect to the container geometry is achieved by the defined container dimensions height, diameter and angle of attack of the lower conical Behaelterteiles. It is essential that the perforation was mounted exclusively on the conical surface of the container. Defined are also the parameters pitch circle distance, hole spacing and hole diameter of the perforation. The preferred field of application is the drying of splinter granules following a washing process. Fig. 2
Description
The object is to make the geometry of the drying container with vertical conveyor so that bulk material particles with strong AdhSsion to each other, as is plastic granules in splinter form and high humidity, can be acted upon effectively with dry air. The granules are too dry except for a relative residual moisture content of 0.2%. Erf nriungsgemlß is the container size with a height of 1000 to 6000 mm, a diameter of the cylindrical portion in the range 500 to 2 5CO mm and an angle of attack, which forms the conical jacket in the lower part with the Miindungsebene the container, from 45 ° to 80 ° Are defined. The formation of the perforation for the entry of dry air takes place by arranging circular openings exclusively on the conical surface in horizontal hole circles with intervals of 10 to 300 mm pitch circle distance, 10 to 200 mm hole spacing and a range of l.ochdruchmesser 3-12 mm. The preferred angular range of the angle of attack is 60 ° to 75 ", whereby the drying of wet splinter granules could be made particularly effective with a narrowed pitch circle distance of 20 to 100 mm and a uniform hole diameter in the range of β to 11 mm The following is the effect of the drying container: The moist granules entering the drying container on its way to the lower screw conveyor inlet and, during its loosening inside the conveyor screw, already evaporate part of the moisture through indirect heat transmission through The components heated by the hot air, ie the decisive drying phase, start with the downward movement of the granulate beneath the hood in countercurrent to the upward flowing dry warm air ngen the perforation in the defined size range of the container an all-round flow around all granules with a very effective removal of moisture while canceling the adhesion of the parts to each other.
In den Zeichnungen zeigen:The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to a dry container for splinter granules, which is arranged downstream of a washer. In the drawings show:

The container casing has at its frustoconical lower end a perforated container wall 6 which separates the drying container from an outer air chamber 4. It is also associated with a filter 5 designed as a gauze screen. From the supply line 3, the hot air passes tangentially into the air chamber 4 and from there into the annular space of the drying container 2. With the drive motor 9 except the screw conveyor 7 on the extended shaft 8, the stripper plate 10 along the perforated container wall ß moves, so that a Clogging is prevented by granule parts. The material which has passed into the device via the granule feed line I strikes the upper side of the funnel-shaped hood and thus experiences a uniform distribution until a predetermined pouring height is reached. The Üich in the lower container part collecting granules is received by the screw conveyor 7, which is preheated by the inflowing from the feed line 3 warm air.
As a result, a partial evaporation of moisture during the upward movement is already achieved. The emerging from the screw conveyor 7 granules is prevented by the hood 11, immediately the exhaust air flow in the direction of the container exhaust line 12 to follow ** and falls into the container base. In doing so, it is lapped on all sides in countercurrent by the rising dry hot air, which overcomes the adhesion of individual granulate particles to each other, absorbs the moisture and causes a uniform distribution on the surface of the bed, on which the residual moisture evaporates. The moisture-enriched air leaves the drying container via the exhaust duct 12, which is connected to a suction device. The process described is carried out until the desired degree of drying of the granules is reached and the bed can be removed from the drying container 2 via the lower discharge line 13. In this process, the choice of container size and the geometry of the conical wall part with their perforation for the desired dry effect have a significant importance. In the exemplary embodiment, the height H of the container 3 2800mrn at a diameter D of 1500mm (Figure 2). Due to the very moist and partly foil-like plastic granules, a strong adhesion of the particles occurs untei each other and the flowability is greatly reduced. This requires a relatively large angle of attack. By choosing the angle of attack α = 68 ° a smooth sliding of the granules on the container wall 6 was achieved and thus created a prerequisite for a uniform circulation of the contents in the container. Of great importance for optimum, homogeneous drying of the granules is the hole size and hole distribution over the conical container wall 3 (FIG. 3). In the application case, the hole size was determined with a diameter of d = 10 mm. Since due to the different geometry of the granules with a partial clogging of the openings is to be expected, however, ensures the relatively large diameter sufficient Trockcnluftdurchsatz at very low pressure losses. At the same time, a sufficient number of holes with a uniform hole distribution over the entire surface is important for effective drying. Approximately 800 holes were distributed over the conical surface, with the holes arranged on bolted holes. The distance between the hole circles is t = 30 mm. Furthermore, the distances of the holes χ per hole circle were kept constant, where χ was not chosen larger than 150 mm. This hole distribution and o.g. Hole size ensure a uniform flow through the bulk material at very low pressure losses and by the simultaneous circulation and loosening of the granules, the very low relative residual moisture content of 0.2% is achieved. The plastic granulate can then be easily stored or further processed.
