Abstract
Fig. 1The invention relates to an arrangement for photometric end point titration. Their functional principle consists in providing the measuring signal with a correction factor and deducting it from the quotient of the measuring and reference signal. The difference is compared in an amplifier with the set end point. If equal, the titration is aborted and the dosage of titrant is evaluated. The arrangement corrects the endpoint titration error resulting from the spectral dependence of the turbidity absorption and controls the titrant dosage as a function of the absorption by the indicator dye. Die beschriebene Anordnung weist folgende Funktionsweise auf:The described arrangement has the following operation:
-konzentratioh proportional. The clock generator 1 controls via the driver stage 2, the inverter 3 and the driver stage 4 alternately with a frequency of 1 kHz, the light emitter 5.6. These generate green and red light pulse sequences that are offset by half a beat. The light pulses penetrate the liquid contained in the measuring cell 7 and reach the light detectors 10,11, which transform them into electrical impulses. The liquid is composed, for example, of an O, 2KC solution as a base electrolyte and an acetic acid solution of about 5 m mol / l. During the electrolytic generation of the hydroxyl ions, gas bubbles are produced which increase the optical density of the liquid. The weakening of the green and red light pulses as they pass through the liquid is very different: that of the green light pulses increases sharply as the titration progresses, while that of the red light pulses changes only slightly. The electrical measuring and reference signals emitted by the light detectors 10,11 are converted into voltage pulses in the current-voltage converters 12,13, then rectified in the rectifier circuits 14,15 and converted by the logarithmic amplifiers 16,17 in logarithmic signals. In the differential amplifier 18, the difference formation of both logarithm signals, which is equivalent to a logarithm of the quotient of the rectified measuring signal and reference signal. In the addition stage 19, a correction voltage tapped by the potentiometer 20 is added to the logarithmic measuring signal. At its output, the logarithm of a product of the rectified measurement signal and a correction factor is available. The logarithmic output signals of the differential amplifier 18 and the adder 19 are de-logarithmized in exponential amplifiers 21, 22 so that the fractured measuring signal and the ratio of the measuring signal and the reference signal are present at the outputs of these amplifiers 21, 22. These signal values are subtracted from each other in the differential amplifier 23. The subtracted, amplified signal is compared in the reference-point-related amplifier stage 24 with a voltage applied by the endpoint setpoint adjuster 25 at the amplifier input. The difference is amplified and controls the current of the current source 26 between the electrodes C, D of the measuring cell 7 - the coulometric current and the measuring resistor 27. It is getting smaller as it approaches the set titration endpoint. If equal, the amplifier stage 24 blocks the flow of current - the coulometric titration is completed. At the same time, the pulse formation in the voltage-frequency converter 29 stops. The number of pulses generated is proportional to the amount of charge which has flowed during the titration and thus to the sought quantity or concentration of substance.
