Das Chlorophyll wurde in der Spitze des zweiten Blattes jeder Pflanze bestimmt (Tabelle III).After sowing (post-emergent) maize seeded in breeding pots (5 plants / pot) was sprayed with solutions containing the test plant substances, respectively gibberellic acid and 3-indoleacetic acid, in a concentration of 250 or 500 ppm. In the four-leaf phase of the untreated control plants, the green masses and the root mass of the plants were measured (Table II). The chlorophyll was determined in the top of the second leaf of each plant (Table III).
" Durch die Wirkung der Gibberellinsäure entwickelten sich sehr dünne, hagere Pflanzen Tabelle III"The action of gibberellic acid produced very thin, lean plants. Table III
Der gesamte Chlorophyllgehalt der ganzen Grünmasse = (CH a + CH b) χ Durchschnittswert der Grünmasse einer PflanzeThe total chlorophyll content of the whole green mass = (CH a + CH b) χ average value of the green mass of a plant
From the results it can be seen that each tested active ingredient significantly accelerates the development of the plants compared to the untreated control.
However, the quotient plant length / green mass indicates that the BF substances exert a more favorable effect than the comparison substances. It follows that the habit of maize was not adversely affected by BF-120 or BF-96, while the action of gibberellic acid produced disproportionately haggard plants with an unfavorable habit.
The levels of chlorophyll determinations indicate that B F-120 exerts the most beneficial effect on the amount of chlorophyll formed in or throughout the whole green plant.
Tomato plants exposed to small plots were sprayed once with dripping with solutions containing BF-12O at a concentration of 250 and 500 ppm, respectively, until dripping.
At 1.4 and 13 days after treatment, samples were taken from the same leaf disc of the same leaf height and the chlorophyll content was determined (Table IV).
