Abstract
The essence of the invention is that the Stromkontaktduese has been axially divided so that in a Duesenhaelfte a wear-resistant contact and on the other Duesenhaelfte a easily exchangeable verschleissender current contact are arranged. By resilient and adjustable contact pressure of the two Duesenhaelften a defined current transition is made possible at the contact points, which allows a stable and gleichmaessigen arc. This is possible with reduced wear on Duesenmaterial the welding of wires of different diameters and with extremely thin metallic Schutzueberzuegen. The special Drahtfuegung and the reduced Schutzueberzug the welding wire reduce abrasion and driven parts have less disturbing effect on the function. Due to the stable arc over a longer period of time and the resulting reduced sweat formation, the lower abrasion and the increased nozzle service life, the weld seam quality is improved.

The invention relates to a Stromkontaktdüse for mechanized or automated metal inert or metal-active gas welding with known welding torches and conventional welding wires.
Welding contact nozzles made of copper materials are known with centrally mounted bore with a bore diameter which is about 0.2 millimeters above the respective used welding wire diameter and a contact nozzle length of at least 20 millimeters.
A disadvantage of such nozzles is that the current transfer constantly takes place alternately at points within the contact nozzle bore and, in conjunction with the rapidly increasing wear and contamination by welding wire abrasion leads to an irregular behavior of the arc or interruption of the arc. Another solution provides for the pressing of the welding wire to the wall of the nozzle bore over the entire nozzle length by two pressing means. The disadvantage is that the current transition does not take place at a defined point. Not guaranteed, due to the radius of curvature of the wire and its axial rotation ^ a pressing of the wire over the entire length. This is a change of the current transfer contact is connected within the nozzle bore, which also leads to an irregular behavior of the arc.
The invention is thus based on the object to make a metal inert or metal-active gas Stromkontaktdüse so that the current transfer takes place at a defined and favorable location that different wire diameters are welded to a nozzle that the contact nozzle wear is reduced and that Welding wires can be welded with thinner copper coatings.
With the controlled as a result of the defined current transfer arc behavior, the weld quality is to be improved and spattering can be reduced.
The object of the invention is to provide a defined current transition point within the Stromkontaktdüse.
Features of the invention are that the Stromkontaktdüse is arranged with minor changes in the welding torch and axially divided, that the wire guide is taken over by both parts, that the current transfer at the contact surface via a wear-resistant hard metal part on the one half of the nozzle and a replaceable wearing part made of copper the other nozzle half takes place that is achieved by resilient and adjustable contact pressure of the two nozzle halves by specially arranged components required for the defined current transition contact pressure.
Of particular advantage in the invention is that welding torches can be used in the usual way that improves the weld quality due to the defined current transition and the constant arc and the spattering can be reduced, that the abrasion of the welding wire through the use of thin coated welding wires is low and an abrasion accumulation is prevented by the design form.

The nozzle half 1 and 2 with the attached carbide contact insert 3 and the attached power contact part 4 are held together by spring ring 5 so that the entire nozzle part in metal inert or metal-active gas welding torch can be screwed in the usual way with the existing threaded connector 6.
Notches with a funnel-shaped entrance for guiding the welding wire 7 are provided between the nozzle halves 1 and 2, the hard metal contact insert 3 and the current contact part 4.
The pressure exerted by the spring ring 5 contact pressure ensures the current contact of the hard metal contact insert 3 and the power contact part 4 to the welding wire. 7
